ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks beraksara Jawa melalui media berbasis komputer pada siswa kelas IV B SD Muhammaddiyah Wirobrajan 3 Yogyakarta 2014/ 2015.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Muhammaddiyah Wirobrajan 3 Yogyakarta pada 2014/ 2015. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV B sebanyak 40 siswa. Prosedur penelitian melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan siswa yang diperoleh melalui tes pada tiap siklus. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah 70% siswa sudah mencapai nilai KKM sebesar 70.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada peningkatan kemampuan membaca teks beraksara Jawa pada siswa setelah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran melalui media berbasis komputer. Diketahui bahwa nilai pra siklus diperoleh persentase ketuntasan 45% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 63. Siklus I persentase ketuntasan 63% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 73 dan siklus II persentase ketuntasan mencapai 83 % dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 81.Kata kunci: Media Berbasis Komputer, Kemampuan Membaca Teks Beraksara Jawa.ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve the Javanese script reading text ability through computer-based media in IV B class of Muhammaddiyah 3 Elementary School of Wirobrajan Yogyakarta 2014/2015This study was conducted in Muhammaddiyah 3 Elementary School of Wirobrajan Yogyakarta 2014/2015. This research was a classroom action research with research subjects were 40 students. Research procedures were planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data were obtained by using the average formula and completeness percentage of students who obtained through tests on each cycle. Indicator of the success of this research was 70% of the students reached the minimum completeness criteria was 70.The results of this research showed that there was an increasing of Javanese script reading text ability after computer based media was implemented. It was known from pre-cycle score that the percentage of completeness was 45% with an average score of 63. The first cycle, students‟ completeness percentage was 63% with an average score of 73 and in the second cycle, students‟ completeness percentage reached 83% with an average score was 81.Keywords: Computer Based Media, Javanese Script Reading Text Ability.
