Abstract

Acrostic is a special phenomenon of the modern Chinese language. It is a combination of lexical and syntactical that across “vocabulary” and “grammar” categories. The morphemes can be combined and can also be separated by various form changes depending on its development. Acrostic is always been a crucial part in teaching Chinese language to foreigners and less developed than other parts of the teaching. This study used quantitative method to analyze the problems associated with the acrostic in teaching Chinese to foreigners. Source of the data was learners’ exercise and assignment. The discussion in this article was viewed from the perspective of the outside-oriented teaching, grouped into 3 main sections. The first was in terms of the usability characteristics to the acrostic developments in the acrostic grammar study. The second, based on the results of the questionnaire regarding the use of acrostic, research analyzed students’ main mistakes and their causes. The third was to observe the condition of teaching acrostic. This research is expected to help teachers and learners of Mandarin understand and overcome the difficulties in learning acrostic.

Abstract

Article discussed the writing principles that must be considered in compiling Chinese language teaching material specifically used for Marketing Communication students regarding the interest and target of Marketing Communication of Bina Nusantara University. The methodologies used are descriptive quantitative for distributing questionnaires and qualitative approach through observation and interview. Research found the appropriate and effective Chinese language teaching material would enhance the standard of Chinese language learning. At present, Chinese language teaching material used by Marketing Communication students has not been able to fulfill their requirements. In addition, the target learners of the teaching material are universal.

Abstract

With the increase of Chinese learners, a number of people who attend Chinese Proficiency Test also have continued to increase. To cope with this test, Chinese Department BINUS University sets up HSK Preparation Class for its students. In this class it is found that students have some difficulties with this subject. One of them is reading part. Therefore this study was conducted through analysis of third grade students of HSK Preparation Class to find out what their problems are, to provide some suggestions, and to comment that can be used in teaching and learning process. This study is hoped to be able to provide some advice and help forteachers and students having HSK Preparation Class.

Abstract

This article discussed about the results of learning Chinese language for BINUS University employees. Learning method for adults and children are different, thus required teaching material and method that suit them. The aim of this research was to find out results of learning Chinese language through the material and teaching method used during training. The methods were descriptive qualitative, direct observation as trainer and collects participant test results as research data. The results show that teaching material is appropriate, however it needs to add review part. Direct method are used during the training makes the participants use Chinese language in daily conversation to achieve the goal of training. Indeed, it needs to strengthen mastery of participants’ basic Mandarin through explanation about using the vocabulary and adding the classroom activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan terpadu Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang, Jalan Telaga Warna, Kelurahan Tlogomas, Kota Malang, Jawa Timur. Mulai bulan November 2015 sampai dengan Maret 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh lama perendaman dan pemberian naungan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor I Lama erendaman yang terdiri dari empat level, dan factor II adalah pemberian naungan yang terdiri dari tiga tarap. Pada kedua perlakuan tersebut terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, setiap perlakuan terdapat 4 biji tanaman sawi, sehingga terdapat 144 tanaman. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perendaman benih tidak pengaruh terhadap kecepatan berkecambah. Pemberian naungan 50% dan 80% memiliki pengaruh nyata pada kecepatan berkecambah 4 HSS. Pemberian naungan tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan sawi.

Abstract

The high demand for soybeans cannot yet be met by domestic production. Thus, a way to increase soybean production is necessary, one of which is to use liquid organic fertilizer derived from landfill leachate. This study aimed to examine the application method of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from landfill leachate to the soil and leaves and to determine the concentration giving the best growth and yield of soybean plants. The study was a field-research arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of six treatments and four replications, which was carried out in a greenhouse. The treatments include A (0 LOF/L water), B (20 ml LOF/L water), C (30 ml LOF/L water, D (40 ml LOF/L water), E (50 ml LOF/L water) and F (60 ml LOF/L water). The liquid organic fertilizer was applied through the soil and leaves at a dose according to the treatments.  The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer from landfill leachate was better applied to the soil than to the leaves. The liquid organic fertilizer given had a significant effect on the leaf area (cm2), crop weight (g), and plant seed weight (g), but not on the plant height (cm) and stem diameter (cm). Liquid organic fertilizer application is better given to the soil than to the leaves based on the independent T test. The liquid organic fertilizer from landfill leachate at a concentration of 40 ml/L of water had the best effect on the growth and yield of soybean plants.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak akibat akumulasi ketidakcukupan gizi yang terjadi sejak bayi dalam kandungan hingga dua tahun. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi stunting adalah pola asuh yang kurang baik, pendidikan ibu, pengetahuan, faktor ekonomi, maupun faktor social-budaya. Pengetahuan ibu sangat penting pada saat sedang hamil, menyusui dan memberikan MP-ASI, karena pengetahuan dapat mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku mereka dalam mengasuh dan memberikan asupan bagi anaknya. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan praktik IMD, ASI eksklusif, dan MP-ASI pada anak stunting di Puskesmas Marusu, Maros.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua desa yaitu Nisombalia dan Bontomatene pada Juni 2021. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak berusia 12-24 bulan yang menderita stunting. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 10 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara mewawancarai dan pengisian kuesioner pengetahuan ibu. Uji analitik menggunakan uji Chi-square.Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil statistik terdapat hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan praktik IMD (p=0,027), adanya hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p= 0,019), dan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian MP-ASI (p=0,033). Kesimpulan: Adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan praktik Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD), ASI eksklusif, dan MP-ASI pada anak stunting di Puskesmas Marusu, Kabupaten Maros.Saran : Diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dengan berbagai macam media baik elektronik maupun cetak untuk meningkatkan pengetahun ibu tentang IMD, ASI Eksklusif dan pemberian MP-ASI. Bagi peneliti yang ingin melakukan penelitian sejenis, sebaiknya membahas faktor risiko lain yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan IMD, pemberian ASI eksklusif, dan pemberian MP-ASI  dengan menggunakan jumlah sampel yang lebih.Kata kunci: Pengetahuan Ibu, Inisiasi Menyusu Dini, ASI Eksklusif, MP-ASI
