Abstract

"Tumbuh Minat Baca Siswa SD Metode Glenn Doman Berbasis Multimedia" adalah metode yang dikembangkan oleh Glenn Doman lebih lanjut dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi maju, dirancang dengan menggunakan metode campuran multimedia dan mencocokkan antara audio, visual dan teks. Glenn Doman metode adalah metode mengajar anak-anak untuk membaca dan mengenali huruf dengan menggunakan kartu flash sehingga siswa akan memiliki kemampuan untuk percaya diri, imajinatif, dan annya. Metode ini dirancang untuk membuat para guru, orang tua atau anak-anak mereka mengetahui dan memahami hal-hal yang ada di sekitar mereka. Tujuan utama dari media pembelajaran adalah untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar yang semakin mengalami kemerosotan. Diharapkan bahwa setelah mereka mengetahui hal-hal yang berada disekitar mereka, mereka dapat kata-kata string untuk membuat kalimat yang indah dalam bentuk visualisasi pembelajaran interaktif melalui CD. Dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, yang diselenggarakan dari 2 siklus terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan metode ini sebesar 60% dari pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan berkualitas. Penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran bertujuan agar proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung secara tepat guna dan berdaya guna sehingga mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan. Tim pengabdi mengadakan pendampingan secara intensif terhadap guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran, baik berbasis TIK maupun nonTIK di Kecamatan Karimunjawa, Jepara. Penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan berkualitas. Kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan media mutlak dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat sarana untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian, kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan meningkat di Kecamatan Karimunjawa. Peningkatan kemampuan dalam merancang dan mengembangkan media oleh guru merupakan suatu langkah inovasi dalam pembelajaran kurikulum 2013. Pengembangan media bagi guru SD merupakan sebagai wujud aktualisasi pengembangan kemampuan pedagogik guru. Diharapkan, hasil pelatihan yang telah didapatkan pada pelatihan pembuatan media ini, dapat diaplikasikan pada pembelajaran di kelas sehingga nanti dapat menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Teknolgi Informasi yang menjadi tranding topik saat ini menjadi sebuah keharusan seluruh komponen masyarakat memanfaatkannya. Seluruh bidang berusaha meningkatkan eksistensi, managerial, administrasi, pemasraan dan brandingnya melalui optimalisasi teknologi informasi. Perkembangan saat ini masyarakat cenderung menggunakan teknlogi multimedia dalam upaya memunjang pekerjaanya. Perkembangan teknologi Informasi sebagai bagian dari dunia pendidikan merupakan angina segar bagi guru dalam proses pengembangan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia juga merupakan alternatif yang sangat tepat dalam proses memaksimalkan kualitas pendidikan khususnya pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Melalui pengembangan multimedia Indonesian culture dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Macromedia Flash 8 ini diharakan mampu menambah proses pembentukan karakter siswa sekolah dasar dengan lebih mengenal secara audio visual kebudayaan yang ada di Negara tercinta Indonesia yang sast ini anak-anak kita mengalami kemerosotan dalam hal penghayatan nilai-nilai budaya Indonesia.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 prioritizes scientific-based learning. The scientific approach to familiarize students think high order thinking patterns. Based on preliminary analysis known that teachers have difficulties in designing a lesson plan scientifically based and requires a reading source procurement efforts. The development of technology can be used to develop educational products, such as e-books using the 3D Pageflip Professional program. Based on the literature study, this program has the advantage of digital interactive book design, flexible, efficient and effective as it integrates text, images, audio, and video. The study was conducted with the aim to provide problem-solving efforts related to adherence to the curriculum in 2013 through the development of scientific learning e-book. Researchers used the ADDIE model of research and development with the flow: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of research in the form of an e-book product of scientific study that has been declared feasible by a team of experts (97.33% of material and media expert 98.7%), practitioners (supervisory 97.33%), and 90.6% with teachers' perceptions category very good. Practically, this research can be useful for teachers, governments, and researchers for services procurement expertise in the form of innovation in educational products.

Abstract

Upaya meningkatkan penguasaan kemampuan menulis artikel bagi guru sekolah dasar mendesak dilakukan. Sebagian besar guru di Indonesia belum optimal dalam melaksanakan PTK, membuat laporan PTK, dan menghasilkan artikel berbasis PTK, serta mempublikasikannya melalui jurnal ilmiah. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai PTK dan artikel ilmiah,  serta menghasilkan artikel ilmiah dari hasil PTK guru SD Kecamatan Kaliwungu. Program IbM ini secara optimal dilakukan proses pendampingan bagi guru SD di Kecamatan Kaliwungu dari yang belum memiliki dasar penyusunan artikel ilmiah sampai peserta dibekali dengan beberapa materi untuk memperlancar proses penyusunan artikel ilmiah. Pendekatan personal dalam setiap pelatihan yang dilakukan diharapkan seluruh guru dapat menyusun artikel ilmiah dari laporan hasil PTK tanpa terkendala apapun dengan mengetahui ketentuan-ketentuan penyusunan artikel ilmiah. Pelatihan dinilai efektif karena sudah menghasilkan artikel peserta pengabdian yang telah disubmit di jurnal nasional dan melihat hasil perhitungan N-Gain yang telah mengalami kenaikan. Manfaat pengabdian ini membantu guru-guru SD Kecamatan Kaliwungu menyusun artikel ilmiah yang berkualitas agar dapat dipublikasikan di jurnal ilmiah nasional.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to compare the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning with SETS approach and lecturing on cognitive learning achievement and naturalist intelligence of fourth grade elementary school students. This research used quasy experimental design, pretest-postest control group type design with guided inquiry learning SETS approach as independent variable. The dependent variable is the cognitive learning achievement and naturalist intelligence. The results of this research found that the students' cognitive learning achievement increases after being teached by using guided inquiry learning SETS approach that compare to discussion and lecturing. There is significant difference of learning achievements that apply the guided inquiry learning with SETS approach compared to the discussion and lecturing. Guided inquiry learning is more effective in improving cognitive learning achievement of fourth grade students. There is a high naturalist intelligence on the application of guided inquiry learning with SETS approach on science subject. It is suggested to teachers to apply guided inquiry learning with SETS approach in order to improve cognitive learning and naturalist intelligence. The use of guided inquiry learning with SETS approach should be priopritized in learning.

Abstract

This study was based on the low ability of mathematical problem solving in students of SMK Negeri 1 Dukuhturi, Tegal. The purpose of this study was (1) analyzing the effectiveness of the PBL Model assisted by Interactive CD in improving the ability to solve mathematical problems reviewed from the cognitive style of Vocational students, (2) analyzing mathematical problem solving ability reviewed from the cognitive style of FD of Vocational students in the PBL model assisted by Interactive CD, (3) analyzing the mathematical problem solving ability reviewed from the cognitive style of FI Vocational students in the PBL Model assisted by Interactive CD. The study used sequential explanatory mixed methods which were combination research methods that combine quantitative and qualitative research methods in sequence. The results showed that the average value of Post-test on students with PBL learning models assisted by interactive CD was 76. Meanwhile, the average score of Post-Test of students with interactive lecture learning was 70. The increased of the mathematical problems solving of the students achieve the classical completeness with a significance level of 0.05 obtained zvalue = 0.9901 < ztable = 2.035. The results of data reduction showed that FI students with PBL models assisted by CD Interactive had better mathematical problem-solving ability than FI students with interactive lectures. FD students with PBL models assisted by CD Interactive have better mathematical problem-solving ability than FD students with interactive lecture learning. This research can be used as an alternative to answering the problem-solving ability that occurs in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop mobile learning as mathematics learning media; (2) test the practicality of the developed mathematics mobile learning media; and (3) test the effectiveness of mathematics mobile learning media that is developed towards the autonomous and learning outcomes of elementary school students. This type of research is research and development by adapting the ADDIE model. Product assessment is carried out by media experts, material experts, information technology experts, peer reviewers and trial. The research data was collected through a media assessment questionnaire and tests, then analysed with N-Gain and t-test. The results of this study are: (1) mathematics mobile learning media has been well structured by getting input from media expert validators, material experts, information technology experts, peer reviewers and students; (2) mathematics mobile learning media is considered feasible to be used in learning, in terms of material aspects, media aspects and students' test results, and (3) there is a significant increase between the autonomous and learning outcomes of students who take learning using mathematics mobile learning media with conventional learning. The results of this study indicate that the mathematics mobile learning media is feasible and effective to be used in elementary mathematics learning.

Abstract

The development of science mobile learning is based on school condition which is lack of the use of technology. The lack of creativity and the uses of technology influencing study environment in class and has an effect in the student's result. So, it is needed to create some innovation in term of choose and use media. This research's goal is to enhance student's achievements. The type of research that used in this study is research and development (R &amp; D). The stages in this research is used ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research was carried out at SDN 2 Bobos &amp; SDN 1 Cangkoak. For the test use n-gain test. Based on n-gain calculation, it show that the small sample obtain 0.61 and for the large sample reach 0.57, both in moderate categories.&nbsp; It can be conclude that science mobile learning can enhance student's study result achievements.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the process of developing a Cirebon ethnoscience-based thematic-integrated book for primary 4 students with the theme “Selalu Berhemat Energi” along with its’ validity. This study applied development technique of ADDIE that consists of five stages: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, and (5) evaluate (Branch, 2010). The analysis stage was carried out by taking theoretical review and field data through questionnaires and interview conducted to teachers and principals from four schools in Cirebon which have implemented 2013 curriculum. It was found from the respondents that they have not integrated Cirebon’s culture into the learning process except Art. Thus, students have comprehension on their own culture. Prototypes of the product were then created as the basis of the product development. Through the validation process and suggestions from the validators, the product then developed into an ethnoscience-based of thematic-integrated book entitled “Selalu Berhemat Energi” with batik mega mendung taken as the main learning material of the developed book.
