Abstract

Pertambangan emas yang menggunakan metode arsenik dan merkuri dalam proses pemurnian akan selalu menimbulkan dampak lingkungan. Sisa tanah hasil penambangan (tailing) akan dibuang atau didepositkan, dan akan menimbulkan masalah lingkungan dan juga mencemari pangan. Tanaman yang ditumbuhkan pada lahan terkontaminasi dapat bersifat adaptif terhadap kontaminan tetapi tidak mentranslokasikan, ataupun bersifat adaptif dan mentranslokasikan dengan dan tanpa translokasi kontaminan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sifat adaptif/toleran Sawi dan Tomat jika ditanam pada tanah tercemar merkuri dan juga kemampuan translokasi merkuri. Total 6 perlakuan dengan 3 kali pengulangan ditentukan untuk setiap jenis tanaman supaya dapat menarik kesimpulan penelitian, seperti perlakuan tanah tailing saja, tanah tailing campur pupuk (100 mg N, 50 mg P, dan 50 mg K),  tanah tailing dengan kotoran ayam, tanah tailing dengan campuran rumput laut, tanah tailing dengan dosis pupuk rendah (50 mg N, 25 mg P dan 25 mg K), dan tanah non tailing yang dicampur pupuk N,P,K dosis rendah. Untuk sawi dan tomat digunakan masing-masing 18 unit percobaan untuk tomat.  Dosis rumput laut maupun kotoran ayam adalah 5g kering angin kg-1 tanah. Statistik mengunakan analisa Anova 1 arah dengan uji lanjut BNJ. Sawi yang tumbuh pada tanah tailing terkontaminasi 85.700 ηg g-1 mentranslokasikan Hg hingga 17.477 ηg g-1 dan hanya 6.281 ηg g-1 pada tomat.  Efisiensi Sawi sangat tinggi untuk membersihkan kontaminan Hg, minimal 68 kali lebih efisien dari tomat. Pemberian N, P, K pada tanah tailing berkontribusi negatif pada pertumbuhan tanaman berbeda dengan pemberian bahan organik asal kotoran ayam yang memberikan kontribusi positif pada pertumbuhan sawi maupun tomat, juga menurunkan  penyerapan Hg.

Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengolahan data dianalisis dengan statistik kuantitatif. Pengolahan data peneliti menggunakan bantuan SPSS 16.0. Analisis statistik yang dilakukan berupa memberikan skor pretes dan postes, menghitung rataan dan standar deviasi, menguji normalitas dan uji homogenitas data pretes sebagai syarat Uji kesamaan rata-rata, menghitung N-Gain, melakukan uji perbedaan N-Gain, dan melakukan pengujian interaksi antara faktor pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian dari bulan April s.d November 2018 di SMPN 1 Unggul Sukamakmur dan Kampus Universitas Serambi Mekkah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa: 1) Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan pembelajaran biasa (konvensional) berdasarkan keseluruhan siswa, 2) Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan pembelajaran biasa (konvensional) berdasarkan pengelompokkan siswa, dan 3) Terdapat interaksi antara penerapan pembelajaran dan pengelompokkan siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, dikarenakan kelompok memberikan hasil yang berbeda terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan penalaran terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi himpunan pada siswa kelas VII MTs. Alkhairaat Pakuli. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan penalaran berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi himpunan pada siswa kelas VII MTs. Alkhairaat Pakuli. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs. Alkhairaat Pakuli yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII A dan kelas VII B. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes berupa tes kemampuan penalaran dan tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji F dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Fhitung = 34,14 > Ftabel = 4,11, sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita materi himpunan. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan penalaran, Kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of Al-Qur'an reading therapy on increasing the peace of mind of students at SMP N 40 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the scale of measuring students' mental calm consisting of 58 items before validation, and after validation obtained 51 items with a valid validity of 0.423 and a reliability of 0.956.The subjects of this study were 8 students who were identified as having moderate levels of mental calm for students. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study proved the research hypothesis was accepted. From the Spearman Rank test results obtained r = 0.747 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.558. Thus there is an effect as big as 55.8% of Al-Qur'an reading therapy on the peace of mind of students. From the Wilcoxon test results it was found that the hypothesis was accepted, meaning that there was a difference in the students' mental calm before and after being given Al-Qur'an reading therapy.Key Words: Read the Qur'an, Peace of Mind, Group Guidance Service

Abstract

With so many hotels and other accommodation facilities in the city of Medan. More and more people are coming and staying and using the facilities at each hotel. Whether it's rooms, meeting room facilities, facilities to hold events, and much more are available in every hotel. Every hotel wants to give satisfaction to guests who come to use the hotel facilities and services. Likewise with SwissbeliNN hotels which have a 3 (three) star classification. Therefore, the opinions of guests and complaints given are very useful to improve the quality of hotel services. To find out, we will look at the satisfaction level of each guest. In this case, the writer applies the servqual method to see the level of guest satisfaction that has been obtained. To find out what is still lacking in the services provided. The purpose of this research is to find out the shortcomings of the hotel for the services provided to hotel visitors, as well as to fulfill the complaints of each visitor to the hotel from the results of the research carried out, with the objectives described later to be able to provide solutions to hotel leaders to fulfill the research results. obtained. The research methods carried out include collecting data directly from the hotel related to the problems that arise to be researched, literature studies, analyzing the problems to be studied based on the data collection that has been obtained, designing applications to overcome problems that arise and making it easier to find out the level of satisfaction of visitors. against managed hotels, as well as testing applications that are made to test the level of success obtained from the application being built. Based on the research conducted, the average perceived service quality score was 3.54. This score is in the somewhat unsatisfactory category when compared with the average score of service quality score which is perceived to be lower than expected. This indicates a gap. The highest average score is given to responsiveness with a value of 3.62 while the lowest score is given to the dimension of empathy with a value of 3.44.

Abstract

Abstract. Communication skills and mathematical reasoning is one of the objectives of the study of mathematics. Communication is defined as the ability to write, read, listen, examine, interpret, and evaluate ideas, symbols, terms, and mathematical information. Mathematical reasoning is a habit when the brain is well developed and consistent will facilitate the mathematical communicate both written and oral. Therefore, the necessary relevant learning models to optimize, improve, and develop communication and mathematical reasoning abilities of students. One of the cooperative learning models is Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The aim of this study to determine: (1) Is the increase in communication and mathematical reasoning abilities that students acquire learning with cooperative learning model TGT better than students who received conventional learning approaches, and (2) What is the attitude of students towards learning mathematics learning gain with cooperative learning model TGT. This research was experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all students of class XI MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar, which consists of five classes. While the sample was composed of two classes of experimental classes and control classes were taken by random sampling. The instrument used to obtain research data communications test and mathematical reasoning ability, and attitude scale questionnaire. The statistical test used for the data mengalisis increase communication skills and mathematical reasoning was two lanes ANOVA test, while the attitude scale questionnaire was calculated based on a percentage. The results showed that the overall improvement of communication and mathematical reasoning abilities that students acquire learning with cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament better than students who received study with conventional approaches. From the results of student questionnaire concluded that in general the students had the positive attitude towards learning mathematics using cooperative learning model TGT.Key Word: Learning TGT, Communication, Reasoning

Abstract

Kemampuan penalaran matematis salah satu tujuan dari pembelajaran matematika. Penalaran matematis merupakan suatu kebiasaan otak yang apabila dikembangkan dengan baik dan konsisten akan memudahkan dalam mengkomunikasikan matematis baik secara tertulis maupun lisan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang relevan untuk mengoptimalkan, meningkatkan, dan menumbuhkembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran tersebut adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dari siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control grup desaign. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar. Sedangkan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang diambil secara random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data penelitian berupa tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk mengalisis data peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis adalah uji anava dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament lebih baik dari siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional.
