Abstract

Objectivity: This study aimed to examine the health benefits of orange peels from the perspective of thegeneral public.Methods: This study involved the Selayar Society in the Batangmatasapo area. The data used seveninformants and literature sources of the health benefit orange peels. Analyze data using Excel Office.Results: This study describes some of the benefits of Selayar orange peel that have used in alternativemedicine on the Selayar Islands in the form of anti-obesity, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and as ananalgesic.Conclusion: Selayar orange peel has health benefits in the form of anti-obesity, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory,and analgesic. These results are still in the form of discourse that in the future, will be developed in furtherresearch in the form of an observational study on the content of Selayar orange peel as alternative medicine.

Abstract

Introduction: During the pandemic period, a social restriction policy has been implemented which has an impact on all aspects of life. One of them has an impact on students' mental health which can trigger anxiety or depression because they spend more time at home. It can also be influenced by several factors such as diet and physical activity. Objective: To determine the correlation between fast food consumption and physical activity with anxiety and depression. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. The research sample was students from the Hasanuddin University health sciences group, totaling 189 people, and was selected using simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study were SQ-FFQ to measure fast food consumption, GPAQ to measure physical activity, and DASS-42 to measure mental health. Results: The results showed that most of the respondents rarely consumed fast food (92.1%) and the majority had moderate levels of physical activity (46.6%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed p-value>0.005 for fast food consumption with anxiety, depression, and general mental disorders and physical activity with general mental disorders. Meanwhile, for physical activity with anxiety and depression obtained p-value <0.005. Conclusion: There is no correlation between the consumption of fast food with anxiety, depression, and general mental disorders. There is a correlation between physical activity with anxiety and depression, but there is no correlation between physical activity and general mental disorders. Students are expected to be able to implement a healthy lifestyle during the pandemic by eating a good diet and increasing physical activity. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Salah satu penyebab rendahnya ASI eksklusif adalah asupan ibu menyusui yang kurang. Inovasi PMT es krim untuk ibu menyusui telah dianalisis kandungannya berdasarkan aplikasi Nutrisurvey, namun belum dilakukan analisis berdasarkan uji laboratorium. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan zat gizi makro pada PMT es krim susu kedelai pada ibu menyusui. Bahan dan Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif berdasarkan uji laboratorium. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah es krim susu kedelai dengan formula 1 yang merupakan formula terbaik yang telah dilakukan uji hedonik dan uji organoleptik. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Biofisik (Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat) dan Laboratorium Kimia Pakan (Fakultas Peternakan), Universitas Hasanuddin pada tanggal 21 April – 20 Mei 2022. Penentuan kadar karbohidrat menggunakan metode luff schoorl, kadar protein dengan metode kjeldahl, dan kadar lemak dengan metode ekstraksi soxhlet. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan Microsoft Excel, kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan narasi. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji laboratorium dalam 350 gram PMT es krim susu kedelai mengandung karbohidrat 63,39 gram, protein 5,6 gram dan lemak 2,1 gram. Pemenuhan kebutuhan zat gizi makro ibu menyusui 6 bulan pertama pada usia 19-49 tahun yaitu karbohidrat sebesar 15,65%-16,46%, protein 7,05%, dan lemak 3,13%-3,38%. Sedangkan pemenuhan kebutuhan ibu menyusui 6 bulan terakhir usia 19-49 tahun yaitu karbohidrat sebesar 15,27%-16,04%, protein 7,52%, dan lemak 3,13%-3,38%. Kesimpulan: Terdapat penurunan kandungan zat gizi makro berdasarkan analisis Nutrisurvey dengan analisis laboratorium. Perlu dilakukan pengembangan resep PMT es krim lebih lanjut agar memenuhi kebutuhan ibu menyusui. Kata kunci : Ibu Menyusui, Es Krim Susu Kedelai, Zat Gizi Makro

Abstract

Introduction: Obesity is associated with an increase in blood sugar levels which is one component of the metabolic syndrome. In addition to obesity, increased blood sugar levels are also influenced by lifestyle. Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship between lifestyle (diet and physical activity) with blood glucose levels in obese employees at Hasanuddin University. Materials and Methods: The type of research used is analytic observational with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted on 104 obese employees at Hasanuddin University with a sampling technique that is purvosive sampling. Data collection techniques used anthropometric measurements and measurements of blood glucose levels, as well as interviews using the FFQ questionnaire to measure diet and IPAQ to measure physical activity. Analysis using SPSS program with Chi-Square test. Presentation of data in the form of tables and narration. Results: The results of the analysis for the relationship between diet and blood glucose levels obtained p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). The most consumed complex carbohydrate food source is rice, and the most consumed simple carbohydrate source is packaged coffee/tea. The test results for the relationship between physical activity and blood glucose levels obtained p value = 0.054 (p>0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between diet and blood glucose levels in obese employees and there is no significant relationship between physical activity and blood glucose levels in obese employees. It is necessary to control the diet and do a lot of physical activity such as exercising during holidays.
