Abstract

PT Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (DPS) is one of several strategic BUMN in marine field. With BUMN restructurisation and efficiency program from Government, PT DPS is liable to improve its production system efficiency. Many problems that faced by PT DPS to improve its production system efficiency are : (1)There is waste work shop such as work in process, waiting time, and flow time at fabrication process in PT DPS, (2) Because waste work shop is still big, shop production process efficiency has not reached maximally yet, (3)Layout and facilities of PT DPS today is already suitable with concept of Product Oriented Work Breakdown Structure (PBWS), but it is limited at simple construction form. At this research, there is ship production process design with Process Lane Construction and Zone Outfitting method or it is known with Group Technology Layout (Manufacturing Cell System) term in order to solve inefficiency problem at ship production process in PT DPS. Design process is performed by integrating Simulation method, Taguchi, Response Surface Methodology, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Simulation method is used to model designed manufacturing cell system, meanwhile Taguchi method and Response Surface Methodology are used for experiment and optimization at manufacturing system simulation model. In order to measure the performanceof designed manufacturing cell system, multivariate measurement method is used, that is by measuring work in process, waiting time, and flow time with smaller the better criteria. Multi response becomes single response by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. From research result with Taguchi Method and Response Surface Methodology know that in fabrication stage optimal layout is second tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lot size is 16 tons, optimal loading interval is 400 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %, in subassembly stage optimal layout is first tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lotsize is 10 tons, optimal loading interval is 400 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %, in assembly stage optimal layout is first tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lotsize is 6tons, optimal loading interval is 400 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %, in erection stage optimal layout is second tipe, optimal set up time is 40 minutes, optimal lot size is 6 tons, optimal loading interval is 480 minutes, optimal demand stability is 92.5 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kekuatan sambungan dinding rumah geladak dengan menentukan jenis dan jumlah sambungan bolting (baut) yang terpasang pada konstruksi rumah geladak. Penggunaan diameter baut yang bervariasi yaitu baut berdiameter M12, M14 dan M16 dengan 2 titik baut serta baut berdiameter M12, M14 dan M16 dengan 1 titik baut yang akan dilakukan pengujian dengan software inventor 2015. Setelah itu akan dibandingkan dengan kekuatan sambungan las sebagai standar acuan kekuatan sambungan. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa sambungan bolting dengan variasi diameter telah memenuhi syarat dalam aspek kekuatan seuai aturan BKI Vol 2, bab 18 tentang tegangan geser yang diijinkan sebesar 360 N/mm2 dan tegangan normal sebesar 171 N/mm2, sehingga sambungan bolting dinyatakan layak untuk diaplikasikan dalam konstruksi sambungan dinding rumah geladak

Abstract

Until now, there is no shipyard company for ship maintenance and repair in Wakatobi. This study aims to determine the location of the shipyard and a technical feasibility study of the shipyard. Based on the results of the field surfey, there are two (2) locations, namely Matahora Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency (location 1) and Dete Village, East Tomia District, Wakatobi Regency (location 2) which can be used as service providers. This study uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to compare the two locations by considering the criteria of geography, infrastructure, materials and logistics, modes and transactions and markets. so that the results obtained location 1 is superior with an assessment weight obtained of 0.75 (75%). Referring to the government regulations regarding industrial estates, the location determined is said to be feasible, where this location has land right on the beach with a sea depth ranging from 2-5 meters and the planned location area is 3 hectares.

Abstract

Shipbuilding company is a company engaged in the field of new ship construction services and ship repair, and has facilities for work on water. Before doing repairs. Factors that affect the general cost of docking ships are the main size of the ship and other data. As in the case study of the XYZ Shipyard, there is still a cancellation of the negotiation of general docking costs, due to the different calculation of docking costs. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of the public docking cost offer using the multiple linear regression method according to the main size of the ship (L, B, D) and the estimated duration of repair work and then an analysis of the effect of each variable used for the estimation of docking costs will be carried out. It is hoped that this research can be useful for shipyards and ship owners in estimating the optimal general cost of docking so that project cancellations do not occur and negotiations run smoothly.
