Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat melalui kegiatan mahasiswa pada KKN Tematik Desa Membangun. Sasaran kegiatan adalah masyarakat dapat memahami potensi lokal di lingkungan desa dan dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam pemanfaatannya. Untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah: (1) meningkat kesadaran masyarakat akan potensi lokal desa melalui kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan pengelolaan sumber daya lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, dan (2) mendorong tumbuhnya kreativitas, motivasi, dan inovasi masyarakat desa dalam pembangunan desa berbasis SDGs. Kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, yaitu: pengkajian potensi desa, update data penduduk, pendampingan vaksinasi Covid-19, pembuatan batas dusun, pagar mini, dan tempat sampah, serta perbaikan pagar lapangan, pembuatan hidroponik, dan pelatihan administrasi pemasaran produk lokal pada UMKM.

Abstract

The coronavirus pandemic or COVID 19 resulted in the disruption of almost all sectors of human life, ranging from the health, social, and economic life of the community. The goal that this activity wants to achieve is to increase the creativity and economy of the community in the mids of the spread of the COVID 19 outbreak. Special targets that want to be achieved are: (1) increasing the role of the community in creating entrepreneurship in the midst the COVID 19 outbreak, (2) improving people's ability to innovate by creating business ideas that suit the conditions amid during in the COVID 19 outbreak, and (3) the formation of a resilient society against the COVID 19 pandemic. To achieve these specific goals and targets the method used is by transferring science and technology based on information technology through the implementation of socialization, education, and training to the community as well as more accurate reports of public circumstances.

Abstract

Recent trends of studies on technology acceptance in local government had recently been popular; the studies focused on identifying the predictors of human behavior in potential acceptance or rejection of technology. This study investigated the use of information technology/information system (henceforth, IT/IS) acceptance in government as a means to improve the quality of public service and strive for transparent governance. A mixed-methods (quantitative and qualitative) study was conducted, and data were collected through questionnaires involving 125 respondents, interviews, and observations. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is used as a theoretical framework for behavioral information systems and Smart Partial least square (Smart PLS) analysis was employed in elaborating the complex correlation between the determinants. The result showed that the perceived ease-of-use (PEOU) contributed positively to the perceived usefulness (PU) and attitude towards using technology (ATUT). Moreover, the ATUT significantly contributed to Behavioral Intention of Use (BITU); further, the BITU also contributed to actual technology use (ATU). The PU, however, possessed a negative impact on the ATUT. These results further the information regarding the quality and performance of IT/IS services that can be used as a basis for higher-level decision-making.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa secara berkelanjutan.Sasaran yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah: (1) meningkat partisipasi masyarakat desa melalui pendampingan pengelolaan potensi desa, 2) meningkat kesadaran masyarakat akan potensi lokal desa dan lingkungan melalui kegiatan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang berkelanjutan, (3) mendorong pembinaan dan pengembangan masyarakat terutama generasi muda. Untuk mencapai sasaran kegiatan, digunakan metode pendampingan dalam mendorong prakarsa dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa. Kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan yaitu: pendataan penerima bantuan, pendampingan vaksinasi Covid-19, pendampingan Pos Gizi, membantu pembelajaran siswa SMP, pembinaan pengajian di TPA, kerja sama dengan ibu-ibu PKK, kerja bakti bersama masyarakat, dan penanaman pohon.

Abstract

There is presently a shortage of preservation of intangible cultural heritage and places for distributing tangible cultural heritage artifacts, regardless of their high value and usability for a nation. Despite efforts to protect cultural heritage, such as mapping and designing information systems to ensure the authenticity of information circulating in the community about intangible traditions and tangible sites obtained from different sources, many historical information places have been converted into new beliefs and buildings. Therefore, this research aims to provide information to promote public awareness about the distribution of tangible sites and intangible information about cultural heritage. A system development method with a prototype model comprising the stages of design and evaluation, system coding, and program testing, alongside system evaluation and usage, was employed. Subsequently, the results showed that the mapping information system increases the effectiveness and efficiency of delivering intangible and tangible cultural heritage information to the public and tourists.

Abstract

The Pentadio Resort tourist attraction in Gorontalo Regency is a place that has uniqueness, beauty, and value in the form of natural wealth, culture, and manufactured products, which are destinations for tourism activities. Currently, information related to the facilities is not widely available. One reason is that the information provided is still manually installed on paper in a specific location. In addition, there is no medium for interaction between tourists and tour managers. This study aims to develop an application for an android-based tourism information system. The method used in this study is prototyping, which comprises five stages: communication, quick planning, quick modeling design, prototype construction, deployment delivery, and feedback. The results obtained by the application can provide information related to facilities in the Pentadio Resort attraction, such as status, warnings, prices, and location points of the facility, as well as review features as a means of interaction or reporting for tourists to the attraction manager. Objek wisata Pentadio Resort di Kabupaten Gorontalo merupakan tempat yang memiliki keunikan, keindahan dan nilai berupa kekayaan alam, budaya dan hasil buatan manusia yang menjadi tujuan untuk melakukan kegiatan pariwisata. Namun informasi berkaitan dengan fasilitas tersebut saat ini belum tersampaikan secara meluas. Satu hal yang menjadi sebab adalah informasi yang disediakan masih secara manual melalui kertas yang dipasang di tempat tertentu. Selain itu belum tersedia media interaksi antara wisatawan dan pengelola wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi pariwisata berbasis android. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Prototyping yang memiliki 5 tahapan yaitu communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construcion of prototype, dan deployment delivery and feedback. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh aplikasi yang dapat memberikan informasi terkait fasilitas yang ada di objek wisata Pentadio Resort seperti status, peringatan, harga dan titik lokasi dari fasilitas, serta menyediakan fitur ulasan sebagai sarana interaksi ataupun pelaporan bagi wisatawan ke pengelola objek wisata.

Abstract

The development of science and technology in the field of information system has resulted in improved organizational performance in managing information. This also applies to the employee recruitment system, which can be a solution to the employee recruitment process in an organization, where organizations can choose the right employees for their organization. Web-based employee recruitment systems are used to support the decision-making stage by identifying problems, selecting relevant data with Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. This study aimed to design an employee recruitment system using the web-based SAW method. The prototype model system development method was used with the stages of communication, rapid planning, rapid design modeling, construction, and system submission. The data collection process was conducted through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The result of this study is a web-based employee recruitment system that can input job vacancy data, applicant data, interview schedules, assessment data information, and assessment result reports. The results of the system evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) obtained a value of 80, which shows the grade ranking of the SUS scores on the level of user acceptance in the acceptable category and grade scale category B, which means that the system has good quality and is easy to use by users. Berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang sistem informasi mengakibatkan peningkatan kinerja organisasi dalam mengelola informasinya. Hal ini juga berlaku pada sistem rekrutmen karyawan yang dapat menjadi solusi dalam proses rekrutmen karyawan dalam sebuah organisasi, dimana organisasi dapat memilih sendiri karyawan yang tepat untuk organisasinya. Sistem rekrutmen karyawan berbasis web digunakan untuk mendukung tahap pengambilan keputusan dengan mengidentifikasi masalah, memilih data yang relevan dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem rekrutmen karyawan dengan menggunakan metode SAW berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan sistem model prototype dengan tahapan komunikasi, perencanaan secara cepat, pemodelan perancangan secara cepat, konstruksi dan penyerahan sistem. Adapun proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sistem rekrutmen karyawan berbasis web dimana sistem dapat menginput data lowongan pekerjaan, menginput data pelamar, membuat jadwal interview, menampilkan informasi data penilaian, serta menampilkan laporan hasil penilaian. Adapun hasil evaluasi sistem menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) didapat nilai sebesar 80 yang menunjukkan grade rangking of SUS scores pada tingkat penerimaan pengguna dalam kategori acceptable dan grade skala kategori B, yang artinya sistem memiliki kualitas yang baik dan mudah digunakan oleh pengguna.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the motivation and learning outcomes of high school students at SMA Negeri 7 Gorontalo for the 2022/2023 Academic Year through implementing android-based learning media on temperature and heat materials. The research method is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research sample consisted of 3 classes: class X IPA 2 as the experiment class and class X IPA 3, and X IPA 4 as a replica class. This research begins with preparing learning tools to implement learning media based on Android material on temperature and heat. The results of the validation show that the learning tools are valid and can be used in the learning process. Implementing the learning process in this study is in the very good category. It can increase student motivation and learning outcomes, where the N-Gain scores for the experimental and replica classes are in the high category.

Abstract

Pembinaan dan pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah, akademisi, dunia usaha, dan masyarakat. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah terwujudnya desa mandiri ekonomi yang menjunjung tinggi kearifan lokal masyarakat sebagai pelaku partisipatif aktif dalam dinamika pengelolaan dan manajemen usaha produk UMKM. Dengan target khusus yaitu (1) peningkatan sadar usaha masyarakat melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengelolaan dan manajemen usaha produk UMKM masyarakat desa, (2) terwujudnya pengelolaan dan manajemen usaha produk UMKM dan pemasaran produk pelaku UMKM (3) terwujudnya usaha rumah tangga yang dikelola secara mandiri. Metode kegiatan ini adalah metode workshop dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan pada masyarakat melalui pelatihan pengelolaan dan manajemen usaha produk UMKM secara intensif sehingga tercapai seluruh target dan luaran yang diharapkan melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN Tematik. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterlibatan pelaku usaha UMKM dengan melakukan promosi, perbaikan administrasi, perbaikan kemasan produk dan penjualan melalui online. Selain itu, pelaku usaha UMKM dapat memperoleh pengetahuan cara manajemen usaha yang baik sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat pelaku usaha UMKM.

Abstract

The application of information technology (IT) by central and regional governments to public services is intended to efficiently and effectively improve performance and public services. However, many studies have shown the ineffective application of IT. In Gorontalo province, this can be seen in the e-readiness value of Gorontalo province as a prerequisite for successful IT implementation, which is still at 58.15 points, which means that it is at a moderate level of readiness. This shows that implementing IT governance in the local government of Gorontalo province is still not optimal in terms of performance or public services. This study aims to identify the design factors that need to be considered when implementing IT Governance to achieve better public service performance. This study uses a quantitative approach based on a survey method. The results showed six models at Level 3: BAI06, BAI07, DSS01, DSS03, DSS04, and DSS05. In addition, four models were at level 4: APO12, APO13, BAI10, and DSS02. Levels 3 and 4 show that the IT governance capability of the Gorontalo provincial government in each model is not yet optimal. This study recommends that the Gorontalo provincial government evaluate and formulate an effective IT Governance system by focusing on each model's IT Governance design factors to improve public service performance.
