Abstract

Motivation is an important thing in the learning process. The existence of student motivation in learning will make the learning process more enjoyable, communication smoother, reducing student anxiety, increasing creativity and learning activities. Mc. Donald in Sardiman (2008: 73) argues that motivation is a change in energy in a person which is characterized by the appearance of "feeling" and preceded by a response to the existence of goals. With the high motivation to learn, students will be able to achieve optimal self development in their learning achievement which is one of the main goals in learning. Based on the results of a discrete analysis of the percentage of learning motivation after providing individual counseling services with motivational interviewing techniques has increased. The average level of broken home student learning motivation in SMP Negeri 1 Pelaihari becomes 66.11% in the high category, where 64% or 23 people with a high enough category and 36% or 13 people in the Medium category and no longer found students who are at low category. From the results of the data processing, it is known that there is an increase of 10.53% where in the preservice delivery the motivation level is an average of 55.58% to 66.11%. This proves that after providing individual counseling services with motivational interviewing techniques student learning motivation can increase. Besides that based on the results of the hypothesis analysis test data obtained t count = 11.51 and t table = 1.994, so t arithmetic> t table .. This shows that "there are differences in the level of student motivation before and after getting individual counseling services with techniques motivational interviewing ".

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 yang mewabah di Indonesia membuat pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB) sehingga ruang gerak manusia terbatas. Lingkungan dalam hal ini biotik non-human/non-sosial/bukan manusia dan abiotik memiliki potensi lestari lebih besar.  Sistem penegakan hukum terhadap perlindungan satwa orangutan di Kalimantan Barat saat ini diatur sangat buruk.Hal itu menyebabkan terjadinya pergeseran konsep dari ekosentrisme menjadi biosentrisme terhadap perlindungan orangutan di Kalimantan Barat. Unsur kebaruan/novelty dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pembahasan seputar sistem penegakan hukum terhadapperlindungan satwa orangutan di Kalimantan Barat yang ditinjau dari konsep tentang etika lingkungan. Tulisan ini menggunakan penelitan normatif atau doktrinal. Teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan 3 pendekatan yakni pendekatan kasus, perundang-undangan, dan konseptual. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui urgensi dari pergeseran konsep dan menjelaskan sistem penegakan hukum lingkungan secara real dan secara ideal terhadap perlindungan orangutan.Hasil penelitian ini adalah perbaikan sistem penegakan hukum perlindungan Orangutansesuai pergeseran konsep lingkunganmenjadi penting karena adanya berbagai ancaman seperti hilangnya habitat akibat alih fungsi lahan dan pembalakan liar, kemudian akibat perburuhan liar untuk perdagangan ilegal, serta konflik antara manusia dan orangutan.

Abstract

The drive of this study is to postulate empirical evidence about the evaluation of the enactment of regional autonomy in Indonesia after the enactment of Act Number 22 Year 1999 concerning Regional Government. Exclusively, this analysis aims to evaluate the wellbeing of the community, public services and regional competitiveness in the new autonomous regions. This research was conducted in 71 new autonomous regions in the Sumatra region after the depiction of Act Number 22 of 1999 concerning Regional Government during the 2000-2018 period.  This type of research uses quantitative research. While the research method used is descriptive method, which is a research method that describes the population under study and consists of variables. The results of the study found that (1) the success rate of implementing regional autonomy for 20 years in the Sumatra region from the welfare aspect was 64.78%, meaning that the implementation of regional autonomy in the Sumatra region so far (64.78%) "has succeeded in increasing the HDI" according to the mandate of the law; (2) the level of success in implementing regional autonomy for 20 years in the Sumatra region from the aspect of regional competitiveness is 18.30%. The conclusion is that the implementation of regional autonomy in the Sumatra region has not been sufficiently successful in increasing regional competitiveness in terms of GRDP; (3) Riau Province is a region that has been very successful in implementing regional autonomy both in terms of welfare and regional competitiveness.

Abstract

Problem formulation in the research of this class action is 1) why scrabble games can increase teacher skill in IC class SDN Petompon 02 Semarang? 2) Why scrabble games can increase student activities in IC class SDN Petompon 02 Semarang? 3) Why scrabble games can increase reading correct? 4) why scrabble games can be contain of the text has purposes increase vocabulary. The Research subjects were class I students who amounted 40 children consisted of 22 boys and 18 girls. The research lasted during three cycles. Variables /factors were investigated in this research are the skills of teachers, student learning activies, reading corect, and contain of the text. Comparing the results between cycles I, cycle II with the cycle III and during the implementation of research result, then discussed with colleagues who acted as observers. Results of this research indicate an increase in the quality of teacher skills, student learning activities, reading corect,and contain of the text  through scrabble games. The average skill of teachers increased from 72,22% to the category of sufficient (cycle I) to 80,56% good category (cycle II) and 86,12% with a very good category (cycle III). The average student activities increased from 68,67% to the category sufficient (cycle I), became75,25% with a good category (cycle II), and became 82,67% with a very good category (cycle III). Reaiding corect increas from skor 13,25 good category (cycle I) increased from 13,63% very good kategory.  The contain the text creased from 72,5% (cycle I), became 77,5%(cycle II), and became 80% (cycle III). Based on results of this reading through scrabble games increased of teacher skill, increased of  student learning activities, increased of reading corect, and increased contain of text. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze students’ personality traits and language learning strategies at the tenth grade students of SMK N 9 Padang academic year 2016/2017. Design of this study is descriptive qualitative. There are 25 students at the tenth grade of SMK N 9 Padang was becoming the respondents of this study which were chosen by stratified random sampling technique. The data was collected by using Big Five Inventory and Strategy Inventory for Language Learning version 7.0 (SILL) questionnaires. As the result, it found that there are various characteristics of the tenth grade students of SMK N 9 Padang academic year 2016/2017 are extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness.  In addition, each of personality traits used different learning strategies where extraversion and agreeableness students use affective strategy, meanwhile, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness use metacognitive strategy.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an emerging respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus and was first detected in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. As a prospective nurse professional who will engage with patients or partners for counseling about pregnancy decision-making and provide health education. During this pandemic period, there was no research that identified the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of students towards the 2019 coronavirus in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of nursing students against COVID-19 in Indonesia. This cross-sectional survey was conducted from May June 2020. The data was collected online by relying on the writer's network with nursing lecturers in Indonesia and posting to several groups on social media. The inclusion criteria were (i) being a nursing student with Indonesian nationality; (ii) acknowledges the consent given prior to the completion of the survey. A developed questionnaire of knowledge, attitudes and practices towards COVID-19 was used. The majority of participants included in the study (more than 80%) had a high level of caution regarding droplets and air isolation during the COVID-19 outbreak which indicates that most participants had a positive attitude towards COVID-19. More than 80% of participants agreed that COVID-19 will finally be brought under control and belief that Indonesia can win the battle against the COVID-19. This study can be used as a reference in developing policies for nursing institutions during the 2019 coronavirus pandemic in Indonesia. Abstrak: Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit pernapasan yang muncul akibat virus corona baru dan pertama kali terdeteksi pada Desember 2019 di Wuhan, China. Sebagai calon perawat profesional yang akan terlibat dengan pasien atau mitra untuk konseling tentang pengambilan keputusan kehamilan dan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Selama periode pandemi ini, belum ada penelitian yang mengidentifikasi pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku mahasiswa terhadap virus corona 2019 di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku mahasiswa keperawatan terhadap COVID-19 di Indonesia. Survei cross-sectional ini dilakukan pada Mei-Juni 2020. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online dengan mengandalkan jejaring penulis dengan dosen keperawatan di Indonesia dan diposkan ke beberapa kelompok di media sosial. Kriteria inklusi adalah (i) menjadi mahasiswi keperawatan berkebangsaan Indonesia; (ii) mengakui persetujuan yang diberikan sebelum survei selesai. Kuesioner pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik yang dikembangkan terhadap COVID-19 digunakan. Mayoritas peserta yang termasuk dalam penelitian (lebih dari 80%) memiliki tingkat kewaspadaan yang tinggi terkait tetesan dan isolasi udara selama wabah COVID-19 yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta memiliki sikap positif terhadap COVID-19. Lebih dari 80% peserta setuju bahwa COVID-19 pada akhirnya akan dikendalikan dan diyakini bahwa Indonesia dapat memenangkan pertempuran melawan COVID-19. Kajian ini dapat dijadikan acuan dalam menyusun kebijakan institusi keperawatan pada saat pandemi virus corona 2019 di Indonesia.

Abstract

Background : Although memory changes may be a result of menopausal symptoms in healthy individuals, the nature of the relationship between menopausal symptoms and cognitive deficits in the context of postmenopausal women remains unclear. Objective:This study aimed therefore to evaluate the relationship among postmenopausal Indonesian women between distinct menopausal symptoms and the cognitive function. Methods : This study was conducted using a cross-sectional design at two public health centers in Banten, Indonesia. A total of 200 participants were recruited. Data included demographic and clinical information, scores from the Green Climacteric Scale (GCS) for menopausal symptom measurements, and scores from Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Multiple regression analyses explored the association between menopausal symptoms and cognitive function. Results: The average age of the sample was 65.6 years (standard deviation: 10.3). Postmenopausal women with cognitive impairment were found to have significantly different month since menopause than postmenopausal women without cognitive decline (p = 0.001). The mean score for anxiety and vasomotor symptoms was greater in women with cognitive decline than in women without cognitive decline (3.42.56 vs. 3.72.69, and 0.810.81 vs. 1.071.0, respectively). Anxiety (B = -0.15, p =0.03) was found to be substantially associated with it. Conclusion: Anxiety was associated with poor cognitive function in postmenopausal women. More nurse-enhanced cognitive training interventions should be developed and modified for testing with Indonesian postmenopausal women.Meskipun perubahan memori mungkin merupakan hasil dari gejala menopause pada individu yang sehat, sifat hubungan antara gejala menopause dan defisit kognitif dalam konteks wanita pascamenopause masih belum jelas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan di antara perempuan Indonesia pascamenopause antara gejala menopause yang berbeda dan fungsi kognitif.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain cross-sectional di dua pusat kesehatan masyarakat di Banten, Indonesia. Sebanyak 200 peserta direkrut. Data termasuk informasi demografis dan klinis, skor dari skala klimakterik hijau (GCS) untuk pengukuran gejala menopause, dan skor dari penilaian kognitif Montreal (MOCA). Analisis regresi berganda mengeksplorasi hubungan antara gejala menopause dan fungsi kognitif.Usia rata-rata sampel adalah 65,6 tahun (standar deviasi: 10.3). Perempuan pascamenopause dengan gangguan kognitif ditemukan memiliki bulan yang berbeda secara signifikan sejak menopause daripada wanita pascamenopause tanpa penurunan kognitif (p = 0,001). Skor rata-rata untuk gejala kecemasan dan vasomotor lebih besar pada wanita dengan penurunan kognitif daripada pada wanita tanpa penurunan kognitif (3.42,56 vs 3.72,69, dan 0,810,81 vs. 1.071.0). Kecemasan (b = -0.15, p = 0,03) ditemukan secara substansial dikaitkan dengannya. Kecemasan dikaitkan dengan fungsi kognitif yang buruk pada wanita pascamenopause. Lebih banyak intervensi pelatihan kognitif yang ditingkatkan perawat harus dikembangkan dan dimodifikasi untuk pengujian dengan perempuan pascamenopause Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is one of the compulsory subjects that must be taught at every level of education in Indonesia. Therefore, subject teachers are required to be more creative in compiling teaching materials and determining suitable learning models and attracting students' attention in receiving lessons in class. This needs to be done because suitable teaching materials and methods will affect the learning process and outcomes of students. One of the learning models that can be used in teaching Islamic Religious Education is the cooperative model of the Student Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) type. This learning model emphasizes students to take an active role in learning, both in groups and independently. Classroom Action Research was carried out on students of the Boutique Clothing Department Class XI Clothing 1 at SMK Negeri 3 Raha in the 2019/2020 academic year with the subject matter focused on the procedures for organizing corpses with basic competence in implementing body management in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in the Boutique Clothing Department of Class XI Clothing 1 at SMK Negeri 3 Raha through the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) type of cooperative learning model increased. The percentage of completeness of students in cycle I was 68.77%, cycle II was 80.29%.
