Abstract

Vocational education is the proper treatment of work skills or life skills education, especially for students with special needs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of vocational education at A/B/C Melati 'Aisyiyah special school located in Tembung, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach, with field research type. The data collection is through observation, interview, and documentation, then analyzed with interactive analysis models, following the data validity test using triangulation methods. This study discovers that analyzing the vocational education implementation for special students at the high school level, namely from aspects: a) teacher potential, b) student potential, c) supporting infrastructure, d) vocational learning system and policy to grant students to work according to their ability, as one of the efforts to realize the school vision and mission. The implication of this study is to provide an overview of vocational education implementation for special students to have independence and responsibility in living their lives.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya Program Kemitraan Pengembangan Muhammadiyah (PKPM) ini adalah selain untuk melaksanakan salah satu unsur dari tri dharma perguruan tinggi, maka program ini dilakukan untuk menjawab permintaan masyarakat terutama warga persarikatan muhammadiyah, khususnya masyarakat Muhammadiyah Barus Mudik Tapanuli Tengah untuk melakukan pelatihan pengakurasian arah kiblat dan penggunaan media yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengakurasian arah kiblat tersebut. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan program ini adalah: 1) Masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Muhammadiyah Barus Mudik Tapanuli Tengah dapat mengetahui teknik pengakurasian arah kiblat secara tepat, sehingga dalam mengerjakan salat masyarakat khususnya Muhammadiyah Barus Mudik Tapanuli Tengah dapat menghadap kearah kiblat dengan tepat; 2) Masyarakat Muhammadiyah Barus Mudik Tapanuli Tengah dapat memiliki keahlian dalam memanfaatkan Kompas RHI sebagai media yang dapat dipergunakan sebagai pengakurasian arah kiblat; 3) Masyarakat dapat memiliki pengetahuan tentang Kompas secara umum sebagai suatu media yang dapat di manfaatkan dalam pengakurasian arah kiblat. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mengadakan penyuluhan, tanya jawab, diskusi, penugasan dan praktik langsung. Kemudian metode pendekatan lain yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif (partisipatory approach). Tahap pelaksanaan program ini dimulai dari persiapan program, pelaksanaan program, dan evaluasi program. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan dalam penentuan akurasi arah kiblat, dan juga sebagai bahan pengembangan literasi tentang arah kiblat kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is something that is often discussed in the community, where juvenile delinquency has a very large impact in the midst of society. For this reason, special attention is needed to minimize juvenile delinquency that occurs in the midst of society. This study aims to see the effect of Religion and Sex Education on Juvenile Delinquency. The sample used in this study were teenagers in the city of Medan, with a sample of 170 samples. The results obtained that simultaneously, religiosity and sex education can affect juvenile delinquency by 71%. From the results of the above discussion, it can be concluded that partially, the religiosity variable (X1) has an effect on juvenile delinquency (Y) by 58.6%, while the Sex Education variable (X2) can affect the juvenile delinquency variable (Y) by 27.7%.

Abstract

The Covid pandemic period, which does not know when it will end, has caused many problems for our nation, the problems caused not only have an impact on the government system but all lines. The economy plummeted, tourism declined, and the most impact was on the current education system. Education seems to be in suspended animation, helpless in what to do, the government is afraid to open schools for students, it is feared that it will add a new cluster in the spread of this covid. The closing of schools and being replaced with online learning creates many new problems for parents, teachers and the community. Many students do not get detailed and maximal learning, not to mention the internet network problems they face are sometimes a problem. Especially in learning Islam, many students have problems related to understanding Islamic learning because there are practical learning materials that must be carried out by students. Therefore, in this study, we will discuss the problems of learning Islamic Religious Education in the New Normal Period in North Sumatra. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach, with respondents from schools in North Sumatra. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation, while the validity of the data was used by using descriptive data analysis techniques to be obtained through a qualitative approach where the data could be generated through research and studies both theoretically and empirically. In addition, to ensure the validity of the data, data triangulation is used. From the results of the study, it was found that Islamic religious education learning in the new normal period was very ineffective for students and it was feared that the Islamic values (uswah hasanah) that students would get from the teacher were not found in their entirety when learning online.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah merupakan organisasi yang terbesar di Indonesia, bahkan Muhammadiyah merupakan organisasi kemasyarakatan yang paling eksis di dunia ini. Muhammadiyah mempunyai amal usaha yang begitu banyak, mulai dari Sekolah, Panti Asuhan, dan juga tempat peribadahan seperti Masjid dan Musholla. Muhammadiyah merupakan organisasi kemasyarakatan yang tersebar hampir seluruh wilayah Indonesia, peran aktifnya dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat yang ada di daerah, jangkauan dakwah muhammadiyah tidak ada batasannya, Muhammadiyah mempunyai peranan dakwah baik di daerah perkotaan maupun di pedesaan. Kendala yang terjadi terkadang di daerah pedesaan tingkat pemahaman dainya kurang bagus atau tidak terlalu berani dalam berdakwah padahal, di sana ada sarana dakwah yang harus diurus oleh seluruh kalangan anggota Muhammadiyah yang berada didaerah tersebut. Salah satu kasus yang ada sekarang ini adalah di beberapa daerah minoritas yang ada di Sumatera Utara ini yaitu daerah Karo dan Dairi. Di daerah ini sarana dakwah Muhammadiyah seperti Masjid dan Musholla ada namun para pengisinya untuk menjadi dai ataupun penceramah yang tidak mencukupi. Oleh sebab itu diadakanlah pelatihan dai yang berada di daerah ini supaya mereka di daerah ini mampu melaksanakan ceramah di berbagai kegiatan yang di butuhkan seperti, Khutbah Jumat, Ceramah Ramadhan, mengisi pengajian dalam takziah, dan juga ceramah ketika pernikahan. Dalam kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pelatihan Dai kepada kader-kader muda Muhammadiyah yaitu mereka yang masuk di Pemuda Muhammadiyah di daerah karo dan Dairi. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah Lembaga Dakwah Khusus Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara yang mana mitra ini memberikan solusi bagaimana cara pelaksanaan Dai di daerah miboritas dan juga Pimpinan Wilayah Pemuda Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara yang mana mitra ini menyiapkan peserta kegiatan yang langsung dilatih dari tiap daerah yaitu Pimpinan Daerah Pemuda Muhammadiyah Karo dan Pimpinan Daerah Dairi. Dalam program kemitraan ini   di harapkan ada generasi pelanjut untuk meneruskan dakwah amar makruf nahi mungkar di daerah minorotas ini.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ilmu falak  dilaksanakan oleh program studi eksakta atau program studi  sainstek. Jika dilihat dari program studi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Islam yaitu UIN, IAIN atau PTKIS maka pembelajaran ilmu falak ini di bawah fakultas Syariah. Peminat yang ingin masuk dalam program studi ini sangat rendah. Walaupun diketahui ilmu falak dipelajari oleh program studi tertentu namun ada dibeberapa fakultas menjadikan ilmu falak salah satu mata kuliah wajib fakultas, seperti di Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhamamdiyah Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pembelajaran ilmu falak bagi mahasiswa sangat menyenangkan dan materi pembelajarannya tidaklah sulit, dosen pengampu mata kuliahnya sesuai dengan keahliannya.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid-19) that has hit most countries in the world has left humanity in deep sadness and anxiety. Social distancing or what is commonly referred to as social distancing or physical distancing has been designed in such a way as to reduce direct interaction between the wider community, because every individual has the potential to be a carrier or transmit the virus and even become an infected patient without symptoms. Performance is the result or output of a process. Mulyasa further said that performance can be defined as work performance, work implementation, work achievement, work results or performance. The results of this study indicate that the average teacher performance in teaching using the work from home system only reaches 50%. Abstract

The teacher is the main element that has an important role in formal education. Its existence is a determinant of the success of students and the quality of education. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, teachers are required to be able to demonstrate teacher competence in guiding, training, educating, and teaching their students. Learning is a very important thing as a source to achieve high knowledge, through science humans can find solutions and solve life problems both now and in the future, one of the elements that play an important role in good learning process activities and quality in the individual is motivation. Thus it can be understood that motivation in learning is something that is very instrumental in the activities of the process of seeking knowledge in individuals. In the Islamic perspective, its adherents are strongly encouraged to have high learning motivation, so that with high learning motivation, knowledge will be easily obtained. To increase motivation to learn in individuals, it can be done by guiding and following the advice of Islamic teachings, especially those related to rewards and glory in the sight of Allah for people who have knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to describe the importance of learning motivation in individual life, and matters relating to the Islamic view of learning motivation, as well as efforts to increase learning motivation. The method in this writing is a literature study, namely by describing and analyzing several Islamic theories and views on learning motivation. Teachers have various tasks that are implemented in the form of dedication. These tasks include the professional field, the humanitarian field and the social field. Tasks include educating teachers as a profession, teaching and training. Educating means continuing and developing the values of life and living. Teaching means continuing and developing science and technology while training means developing skills in students and teachers should be wise in the learning process, teachers should dress clean and neatly, teachers should evaluate their students.

Abstract

In the world of education, teachers must always pay attention to the abilities of students both online and offline, especially in learning fiqh such as worship, muamalah, Mawaris, jinayah and others. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which made the government issue a circular regarding the policy of the learning process from face to face to online or learning from home, it made students' interest in learning decline so that MAM 6 kotanopan students did not understand Fiqh subjects which were usually practiced directly but at the same time. pandemic students only get material in theory. At this time, the government has implemented face-to-face learning, although it has not been fully effective and is still complying with health protocols. This study aims to determine how the teacher's role is to improve students' ability to understand fiqh learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation with the subject of class XII fiqh teachers and several students. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's role in fiqh subjects has contributed significantly to the procedures for worship and the practice of various religious activities studied in the discussion material.Keywords: Role, teacher, learning, fiqh

Abstract

Children's mental health is how children think and feel about themselves and the world around them. Therefore, mental health is related to how children deal with challenges.children's mental health can be affected by many things, including family circumstances, school life, and life events. Therefore children can experience mental health problems.Parents often underestimate the mental health of their children, including in the Bandar Khalipah village area.The purpose of this study is for parents to pay more attention to the mental health of their children.The subjects of this study were several children whose mental health had been neglected by their parents.The method used is a qualitative method in the form of a case study.Keywords: influence' the parents'child mental health'
