Abstract

Laws of specialization is one indicator in personal branding that includes ability, behavior, lifestyle, mission, achievement, profession and service. Laws of specialization is an important indicator of personal branding that must be known by various segments of voters in the community as a source of information relating to the president and vice president. But in reality, laws of specialization experience a distortion of meaning so that these personal characteristics become biased and are often associated with various political interests. This often leads to conflicts that are based on differences in understanding, as well as the emergence of an attitude of distrust of presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates for the 2019 general election. This study uses a quantitative approach, descriptive statistics. Through this research, the people of Bandung City already know and are able to distinguish and provide responses about the laws of specialization of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2019 general election. This research has implications for community leaders, political figures and the government.

Abstract

Pembangunan nation and character building merupakan pondasi utama dalam mensukseskan Indonesia Emas 2025. Dimana proses membangun karakter itu memerlukan disiplin tinggi karena tidaklah mudah dan seketika atau instan. Oleh karenanya diperlukan pengembangan model pembelajaran yang efektif, yaitu model pembelajaran yang mampu membangun komitmen dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai nation and character building dalam diri setiap siswa. Untuk mengembangkan model tersebut maka diperlukan sumbangsih serta peran dari rumpun mata pelajaran olahraga guna mengokohkan karakter dan dimensi kewarganegaraan, yang mencakup dimensi kewarganegaraan pribadi, sosial, spasial dan temporal. Pengembangan sketsa kewarganegaraam multidimensional merupakan wahana yang paling strategis untuk membangun komitmen dalam rangka membangun nation and character building khususnya dikalangan siswa sebagai warga negara, yang harus diimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: sketsa kewarganegaraan; multidimensional, pendidikan olahraga; nation and character buildingAbstract Development of nation and character building is the main foundation in the success of Indonesia Gold 2025.  Where the process of character building that requires discipline because it is not easy and instant. Abstract

Money politic merupakan tindakan melanggar hukum, serta akan berdampak negatif bagi keberlangsungan demokrasi di Indonesia. Saat ini penegakan hukum money politic sangat rendah, dikarenakan pengawasan yang kurang, perilaku masyarakat yang mendukung serta sistem pemilihan umum proporsional terbuka membuat tindakan money politic semakin berkembang di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan hukum-normatif yang bertujuan mengetahui pada aspek sejarah serta konsep tindakan money politic. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa dengan semakin berkembangnya tindakan money politic membuat kondisi demokrasi tidak sesuai dengan tujuan idealnya, sehingga perlu adanya pendekatan non penal yang bersifat pencegahan dalam menghilangkan tindakan money politic. Kata kunci : Money Politic, Pemilihan Umum, Kebijakan Non Penal.

Abstract

The purpose of that is expected from this research is to find out the average difference between the students' ability to write descriptions of learning that using direct learning model with conventional ones, to know the effect of the interaction effect of the use of direct instructional model and the interest in writing to the ability to write descriptions that siswa.Penelitian conducted an experimental study. Data analysis or testing the hypothesis using Analysis of Variance (Anova) two paths followed by t test Dunnet.Penelitian experiments have been carried out concluded that on average the ability to write descriptions of students who use the direct learning model is higher than the average writing skills descriptions of students using model konvensional.Selain it is known that there is an interaction effect using a model of learning and interest in writing to the ability to write a description. Learning that using direct learning model to the students who have a high interest in writing, the average ability to write descriptions are higher than using conventional learning. There were no significant differences in average ability to write a description of your using direct and conventional learning in students who have a low interest in writing. Thus the direct learning model has a positive influence on learning, especially writing a description.

Abstract

Game yang merupakan salah satu industri besar di dunia saat ini, menawarkan banyak peluang dalam industrinya, yang salah satunya adalah perancangan Game Logic. Saat ini tercatat ada sekitar 80 pengembang game aktif yang tersebar di penjuru Indonesia, di antaranya di Bandung, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Salatiga dan Bali. Pada tahun 2015, Game Tebak Gambar yang merupakan salah satu Game Logic buatan anak bangsa, telah berhasil menduduki peringkat satu dalam google playstore. Yang menjadi sumber penelitian  yaitu bagaimana suatu permainan dapat bermanfaat tidak hanya sebagai media hiburan, melainkan juga sebagai media belajar. Salah satu masalah yang dapat diambil adalah   ketergantungan   seseorang   terhadap   permainan,   terutama   permainan berbasis komputer. Maka dari itu dibuatlah penelitian ini yang diharapkan dapat mempermudah para pecinta Game Logic dalam mengasah kemampuan berfikir secara logika untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah secara cerdas guna menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik lagi dalam berfikir. Diawal game ini dijalankan akan langsung memunculkan puzle menyusun gambar  yang dapat langsung dimainkan sehingga  otak  akan  langsung merespon  untuk  segera berfikir  cepat.  game ini sangat amat sederhana, ringan, dan juga mudah diimplementasikan khususnya pada perangkat komputer berbasis windows. Dan meskipun terlihat sederhana, namun  game ini  dapat  membantu  mengasah  pola fikir dasar seseorang,  yaitu logika.

Abstract

Paham radikal semakin merisaukan karena berkembang pada kelompok strategis yaitu pemuda. Penyebaran melalui media sosial dengan kemunculan hoax serta beberapa situs web radikal menjadi tren baru serta andalan kaum teroris dalam menyebarkan pahamnya. Gerakan radikalisme sangat masif, terorganisir dan berbahaya. Hal ini diperparah dengan lemahnya semangat bela negara dikalangan mahasiswa. Oleh karenanya penanganannya pun harus dilaksanakan secara komprehensif yang salah satunya melalui revitalisasi peran perguruan tinggi di Jawa Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian adalah dosen, pimpinan bidang kemahasiswaan dan mahasiswa pada beberapa Universitas di Jawa Barat (UPI, Unpad, UIN Bandung, ITB, dan IPB).  Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui peran Perguruan Tinggi di Jawa Barat dalam menangani gerak radikalisme dan fenomena melemahnya bela negara dikalangan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa peran perguruan tinggi dalam menangani gerak radikalisme dan fenomena melemahnya bela negara dapat dilaksanakan melalui tiga jalur utama, yaitu melalui pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Umum (MKU), lembaga kemahasiswaan, dan organisasi kemahasiswaan.Kata kunci: perguruan tinggi, penanganan gerak radikalisme, mahasiswa ABSTRACTRadicalism is increasingly troubling because it develops in strategic groups, namely youth. Spreading through social media with the emergence of hoaxes and several radical websites has become a new trend and a mainstay of terrorists in spreading their understanding. The radicalism movement is very massive, organized, and dangerous. It compounded by the weak spirit of defending the country among students. Therefore, the handling must carried out comprehensively, one of which is through revitalizing the role of universities in West Java. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Respondents in the study were lecturers, student leaders, and students at several universities in West Java (UPI, Unpad, UIN Bandung, ITB, and IPB). The purpose of the study to determine role of universities in West Java in dealing with the movement of radicalism and the phenomenon of weakening the national defense among students. Based on the results of the study, it can seen that the role of Higher Education in dealing with the movement of radicalism and the phenomenon of weakening state defense can carried out through three main channels, namely through General Courses (MKU), Student Institutions, and Student Organizations.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone must be at home and keep a distance using a mask. The spread massively. It becomes the basis for all stakeholders to find solutions, both in the form of preventive (prevention) and curative (cure). One of the strategic educational media used to prevent and overcome covid-19 for the current generation of digital natives is through digital comics or webtoons. Comics in digital form has many advantages over printed comics. Based on this, the research aims to find out how the impact of the promotion of the National Defense Knight Comics through the Webtoon as an educational medium for preventing and controlling Covid-19 for the community. The method used is Research and Development (RD) using the Waterfall development model. The results of this review show that promoting comics of state defense knights through webtoons can become a medium of persuasion for education on preventing and overcoming Covid-19. The innovative education offered by the knight Bela Negara comic designs webtoon readers to be closer to the story and characters because it is more humane, so that they are able to show the effects in the form of responses, both cognitive (knowledge development), affective (through positive attitudes) and connective (action as the results of stimulating positive attitudes) related to the prevention and handling of covid-19.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkuliahan Hubungan Internasional pada kenyataannya menemui banyak masalah, yakni pada umumnya mahasiswa menganggap mata kuliah hubungan internasional sebagai mata kuliah yang membosankan dan kurang diminati oleh mahasiswa. Selain itu, mahasiswa kurang mampu mengemukakan pendapat secara sistematis baik lisan maupun tulisan dan mahasiswa juga kurang terbiasa untuk berbeda pendapat, berdebat dan mengambil keputusan terbaik bagi dirinya dan orang lain. Oleh karenanya peneliti mencoba mengujicobakan suatu metode yang berguna meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis mahasiswa terhadap permasalahan disekitarnya, metode tersebut adalah metode studi kasus.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitiannya adalah Mahasiswa kelas 2009 A dan Dosen mata kuliah hubungan internasional pada Jurusan PKn FPIPS UPI. Penelitian tindakan ini terdiri dari 3 (tiga) siklus yang mana setiap siklus merupakan pengembangan dari uji coba siklus sebelumnya dan berakhir ketika tujuan daripada penelitian tercapai.Hasil analisis terhadap temuan membuktikan bahwa pengunaan metode studi kasus pada mata kuliah hubungan internasional dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, metode studi kasus dapat meningkatkan antusias mahasiswa dalam mengikuti perkuliahan mata kuliah hubungan internasional, serta dengan penggunaan metode studi kasus dapat menciptakan suasana demokratis dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah hubungan internasional. Nampak perubahan yang signifikan yang ditampilkan oleh perilaku mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran, terutama dalam hal mengemukakan pendapat, memberikan komentar terhadap pendapat orang lain, mampu menghormati dan menghargai pendapat orang lain, serta dapat bekerjasama dengan tim dalam kelompoknya.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, metode studi kasus dapat digunakan dalam perkuliahan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis mahasiswa. Oleh karenanya pendidik (Dosen) harus kreatif dan inovatif dalam menyusun strategi perkuliahan, salah satunya melalui penggunaan metode yang dapat meningkatkan antusias mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan. Menggunakan referensi yang berorientasi pada upaya pemecahan masalah oleh mahasiswa, melalui pengkajian isu kontroversial yang sifatnya up to date.Kata kunci : Penelitian tindakan kelas, metode studi kasus, berpikir kritis

Abstract

Democracy requires active public political participation. Sustainability of general elections is vitally important in democracy. As a developing country, Indonesia is still struggling to implement its democracy. Interesting phenomena in Indonesian democracy, the number of women who run their candidacy in an election is still limited. For instance, in West Java Province Regional Election, there are no women candidates for governor or vice governor. The political sociology perspective sees these phenomena as the patriarchal culture that the community prefers male leader to women. This research aims at understanding causes of why there are no female candidates in the general election in West Java. This research makes use of quantitative approach with survey method aimed to explain political views of West Java society about female candidates in a gubernatorial election. The area of the research covers West Java province, involving 500 respondents. The data was collected by using the questionnaire distributed by Google Form to people living in this area. The data were then analyzed by inferential statistics. This study indicates that West Java residents still hold strong ideology on gender differences, believing that a good leader should be male. Even in the smallest scope of institution, men is suppossed be a leader. In addition, there is a dichotomy between the public and the personal space for male and female duty. Women are suggested to stay at the private space, while male has a duty at the public sphere. It is also evidenced in the research that women voters have little tendency to elect the female candidates. This occurs not just because of their patriarchal cultural background, but also due to their education. It is indicated that even female voters had higher education, their tendency to elect the women candidate was still low.
