Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran elektronik (e-learning) sebagai pengganti perkuliahan konvensional untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analitis mahasiswa.  Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment design.  Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 1 program studi Akuntansi Universitas Pamulang tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan sampel dua kelas yang berjumlah 47 orang dan diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan tes kemampuan berpikir analitis, dan dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test.  Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa tidak efektifnya penggunaan e-learning sebagai pengganti perkuliahan konvensional (non e-learning) sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis peserta didik terhadap permasalahan-permasalahan pada mata kuliah Pengantar Akuntansi I.  Tetapi walaupun demikian, rata-rata kemampuan berpikir analitis kelompok e-leaning juga cukup besar, yaitu 67,23 sehingga e-learning juga cukup bagus untuk digunakan, tetapi mungkin tidak sebagai pengganti pembelajaran konvensional, melainkan sebagai suplemen (tambahan) dan/atau komplemen (pelengkap) pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is  (1) describe the characteristics of the structure that appears in the short story text of  the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh, (2) describe the characteristics of the flow in the short story text of the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The data in this research are 33 short story text. The data source of this study is an internal official document in the form of a collection of short texts of class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh collected and archived by Indonesian teachers in semester one of the 2017/2018 academic year. Data were collected using documentation study. The research findings are short stories by students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in general, built four structures, namely orientation, complications, evaluation, and resolution. Of the 33 text stories studied, only nine short stories that use abstract, while the koda is not used at all. The plot used in the short story text of students of grade XI SMA Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in general is a forward flow. Of 33 short stories written by students, 29 short stories use advanced grooves, 2 short stories using backward flow, and 2 short stories using mixed grooves. Kata kunci: struktur, teks cerpen, alur, karakteristik

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of learning habbit and achievement motivation toward learning outcomes IPS Integrated grader VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Semester One Academic Year 2012/2013. Population in this study were students of class VIII semester one in SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo four classes with overall student is 137 students. By using T.Yamane formula with probability sampling obtained a sample of 102 students. The method used in this research is verification with ex post facto approach. The problems in this study are whether there is influence achievement motivation and learning habbit towards learning outcomes IPS Integrated grader VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Semester One Academic Year 2012/2013. Based on the analysis of the results obtained show that, (1) there is influence of learning habbit for learning outcomes IPS Integrated grader VIII semester one SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Academic Year 2012/2013 value is 23,1%, (2) there is influence of achievement motivation for learning outcomes IPS Integrated grader VIII semester one SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Academic Year 2012/2013 value is 18,9%, (3) and there is influence of learning habbit and achievement motivation toward learning outcomes IPS Integrated grader VIII semester one SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Academic Year 2012/2013 value is 27,8%.Keywords: learning habbit, achievement motivation, and learning outcomes

Abstract

One of the common problems experienced by students of the Teaching and Education Faculty is that in addition to difficulties in processing, analyzing, and interpreting research data, they also do not understand what statistics to use when facing a case or problem regarding various research designs and methods. This is because there are not many case-based reference books (real problems) with practical learning approaches to solve these problems. This study aims to determine the importance of the development of statistics textbooks in educational research and the specifications of appropriate textbooks to be developed. This study uses a systematic review method with a meta-ethnographic approach to determine the required new textbook specifications. And the data from the review results were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results show that there is a need for a statistical textbook in the field of education with practical problem solving guidelines containing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in selecting appropriate statistical tests for various types of research designs, data processing and interpretation. The development of this textbook is also beneficial for an educator in managing learning and increasing their competence.
