Abstract

This series of research activities are in the form of a routing simulation using the LEACH protocol as a cluster-based mechanism method that can improve Network Lifetime in the Wireless Sensor Network protocol, using the Network Simulator 2 application device that describes data transmission, remaining nodes, and energy used. Determination of the performance and power consumption of the wireless sensor network by testing scenario one to scenario five due to the influence of the cluster to be applied, such as scenario 1 using 1 cluster (C1) consumes an average of the energy of 0.155 joules and the data sent or obtained is 72,848 bytes. Barriers or disruptions to the clusterhead affect the performance of LEACH, so there is a need for criteria or conditions to determine which nodes should be used as clusterhead.

Abstract

This research aims to develop trash volume monitoring based on Arduino nano and orange pi. This prototype detected trash volume in the trash can, and send the information through the monitoring server via a cellular network in real-time. So that the trash management, in this case, Dinas Kebersihan, could be efficient. In which the trash can located in various places could be easily monitored through the website. The results show, optimum range for the sensor that installed in the trash can is maximal 25 cm, in which for every trash that detected by sensor must be in range of 0 cm between 4.5 cm, where the position of the sensor does not face to face so that the sensor detects more accurately in determining the volume of free space in the trash.

Abstract

The information technology developments today resulted in several innovations, including the existence of an Expert System. The systems help diagnose diseases without directly meeting with experts/doctors. Many researchers have proposed algorithms to improve the accuracy of the expert system to approach the diagnosis by experts/doctors, including certainty factor and dempster shader. This study compares the algorithm's accuracy with the results of expert diagnosis of kidney disease. The expert system was developed using UML and a web-based version. From the comparison results, the dempster shaver algorithm has an accuracy rate of 80%, while the certainty factor is 60% compared to expert diagnoses.

Abstract

Agricultural development is essential for the community's survival because it is a major source of food. Food production is a critical component of food security. Food security must be improved to meet market demand, and one of the fundamental goals of agricultural growth is to provide sufficient quantities of food. Increasing demand for natural resources, as well as environmental issues, are putting pressure on the current agricultural supply chain, which includes agricultural land suitability. Land evaluation is a process of analyzing land resources for specific uses using an established technique or method, and it is required to incorporate land appropriateness. According to the criteria, the findings of land suitability will give information and/or land use guidance. The land's appropriateness might be evaluated in its existing state (actual land suitability) or after changes have been made (potential land suitability). To address these issues, the agricultural sector must transition from traditional agriculture to smart agriculture. One of the technologies and system modeling that drives the current technique to smart agriculture with an integrated approach to evaluate the sustainability of agricultural land suitability is the geographic information system (GIS). The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from prior investigations is presented in this publication. The articles are divided into two groups based on their approaches: agricultural land appropriateness for rice plants and the application of geographic information systems (GIS), comprising agricultural land suitability, site selection, and effect evaluation. The goal of this research is to determine what criteria are significant in increasing the quality of GIS applications in agriculture. This outcome is expected to assist stakeholders in formulating policies based on the performance of GIS data management in enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting agriculture supply chain management.

Abstract

Websites are viewed primarily as a platform from which SMEs can portray a sophisticated image and advertise/market their products. One of the main factor affect the adoption of e-commerce by SMEs is the enviroment influence. On small business, the process of recording orders and sales transactions was done manually. These lead to customers complaints because they have to wait for a long time to get the product. In addition, the owners of small business find it difficult to know the popular products among customers. Moreover, the companys are eager to reach out to potential customers. Therefore, an e-commerce website is required not only as a solution to all these problems but also as a bridge between the business and their customers. The website was developed using the Scrum method. The application development process required three sprints to complete the seventeen product backlogs. The system testing proved the system is running according to its function and is accepted by the user.

Abstract

Serangan Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) adalah salah satu masalah terbesar yang menyerang ketersediaan jaringan bisnis, aplikasi, dan layanan. Untuk mencegah jenis serangan ini berbagai metode pertahanan telah diusulkan. Salah satu metode yang paling efektif untuk mendeteksi dan mencegah serangan DDoS adalah metode deep learning (DL). Dalam literatur review, peneliti telah mengumpulkan beberapa jurnal penelitian yang relevan yang kemudian dianalisis metode deteksi serangan DDoS menggunakan deep learning, termasuk: 1) model DL yang digunakan; b) Bagaimana cara model tersebut mendeteksi serangan; c) Dataset apa yang digunakan; dan d) Serangan seperti apa saja yang terdeteksi saat menggunakan model tersebut. Peneliti melakukan analisis mendalam mengenai keefektifan metode deep learning untuk mendeteksi serangan DDoS. Penulisan literature review ini memberikan gambaran umum tentang aktivitas penelitian terbaru yang menggunakan model deep learning untuk mendeteksi serangan DDoS menggunakan kumpulan data konvensional dan kontemporer.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the gap between the practice requirements and the outputs of the audit education and training center and to identify the contribution of the forensic accounting curriculum in filling the gap. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample is 124 respondents with professional backgrounds as auditors and accountants educators in Indonesia. The data collection method implemented in this research is the survey method through the distribution of questionnaires and direct interview techniques with the non-participatory observation which aims to find out more details about the case being studied without actively involving the object of study. Furthermore, this study explores the best possible strategies in shaping learning outcomes that are competent and ready to practice as auditors based on various previous studies and contributes to auditing education and training centers and universities by providing material for consideration in the preparation of strategic plans and learning programs. This study can also contribute to prospective auditors who are considering alternative audit training curricula by providing various competency recommendations for the needs of current auditing practices.

Abstract

The utilization of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, especially in remote areas, is still relatively low, even though the technology is required to implement smart farming or smart villages, which aims to improve the quality of life of people in rural areas. The high investment cost for IoT networks that still use cellular networks or Wi-Fi is one of the causes of the slow implementation of this technology. Our previous research has developed an alternative network for IoT devices in remote areas with the concept of a Tandem Multihop Wireless Network focusing on developing simple message scheduling. This research focuses on implementing ad-hoc routing protocols in tandem with multi-hop wireless to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the protocol. Each sensor periodically sends data to the monitoring server via IoT devices on each tower. The scenario was implemented using MININET-WIFI. Evaluations were carried out to determine delivery probability, latency average, and jitter. In general, the two Ad-Hoc protocols tested, namely OLSR and BATMAN, had the same performance when the data sent was 1 MB, but when the data size was increased to 2 MB, the OLSR routing protocol on several nodes had better performance than BATMAN.

Abstract

Dalam kampanye IPO perusahaan e-commerce di Indonesia yang trending pada Twitter terdapat dugaan keterlibatan buzzer dalam penyebaran konten yang terfabrikasi. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dikaji pola dari akun-akun yang terlibat dalam penyebarluasan. Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan sebuah pengklasifikasi buzzer berdasarkan pola dan karakteristik yang didapatkan dari akun-akun tersebut. Pengklasifikasi buzzer akan memiliki empat atribut: jumlah following, jumlah follower, nilai sentimen dari tweets terbaru, dan usia akun. Data akan diproses dan dibersihkan sebelum melakukan analisis sentimen untuk memberikan bobot pada data. Kemudian data dilabeli sesuai dengan karakteristik yang telah ditentukan. Algoritma Naive Bayes varian Gaussian akan digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi akun buzzer dan non-buzzer. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan performa model klasifikasi akun buzzer yang memiliki nilai akurasi sebesar 80%.

Abstract

Abstrak - Konflik antara Rusia dan Ukraina menyebabkan gangguan pada pasokan energi yang berujung harga energi global semakin meningkat. Saat ini, terdapat dua harga minyak mentah (crude oil) dunia yang menjadi acuan, yaitu Brent dan WTI (West Texas Intermediate). Sejak awal 2022, tercatat bahwasannya harga minyak mentah dunia pernah melonjak sampai di atas 100 USD/Bbl dan dalam perkembang selanjutnya akan terus mengalami fluktuasi harga. Beberapa pendekatan untuk meramalkan dan memprediksi sebuah harga dapat dilakukan, salah satunya menggunakan metode WMA (Weighted Moving Average), dimana memiliki keunggulan dalam hal pemberian bobot yang bervariasi terhadap periode waktu (data training) berjalan. Atas dasar isu diatas maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis model peramalan terhadap harga minyak mentah dunia menggunakan WMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Dari 8 varian periode data training, hasil terbaiknya adalah jika menggunakan 7 periode data training dengan nilai MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation) sebesar 1,110 , 2) Hasil tracking signal berada dalam rentang -4 sampai +4 sehingga model peramalan ini dapat dinyatakan layak diimplementasikan, 3) Hasil peramalan harga minyak mentah dunia di periode mendatang (per-1 juni 2023) untuk Brent adalah 75,110 USD/Bbl dan untuk WTI adalah 70,980 USD/Bbl.Kata kunci: peramalan, prediksi, minyak mentah, weighted moving average Abstract - Russia and Ukraine conflict caused energy supply disruption resulted in global energy price increases. Currently, there are two world crude oil prices used as reference, Brent and WTI (West Texas Intermediate). It was noted, from early 2022, world crude oil prices had soared above 100 USD/Bbl, and subsequent developments will continue to experience price fluctuations. Several approaches are used to predict prices, one is the WMA (Weighted Moving Average) method, which is excellent in giving varying weights to the running period (data training). Based on the above issues, in this study, world crude oil prices forecasting model analysis was carried out using WMA. The results showed that: 1) Of the 8 variants of data training periods, the best results are using 7 training data periods with a MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation) value of 1,110, 2) The tracking signal resulted from -4 to +4 in range prove that it is feasible to implement this model, 3) forecasted world crude oil prices for the upcoming period (as of June 1, 2023) are 75,110 USD/Bbl for Brent and  70,980 USD/Bbl for WTIKeywords: forecasting, prediction, crude oil, weighted moving average
