Abstract

Lapindomud has been being a problem, especially in agriculture area. Special treatments are needed in using Lapindo mud, one of them is mixed Lapindo mud with soil.Not only supports plant growth, but also mycorrhiza form a mutualistic relationship with plant on critical and damaged land. This research aimed to study about interactions and effect ofLapindo mud and arbuscular mycorrhizal on kangkung(Ipomoea sp) yield. The experiment was conducted on May to June 2014. Factorial design was arranged as Randomized Block Design with each treatment using Lapindo mud 0%, 20%, 30% and without the addition of mycorrhizal and repeated 3 times. Variable were plant length, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, stover fresh and dry weight, yield of fresh components and dry weight.Data obtained in this research were analyzed by ANOVA, then followed by HSD 5%. The results data of administration of mycorrhiza and percentages Lapindo mud showed that real interaction to the number of leaves (M1L1) with results of 9.22. In the provision of mycorrhiza was significantly different at the plant lenght (27.22), stem diameter (0.47) and dry weight (1.27) plant that is on the media bygiving mycorrhiza (M1). While the media Lapindo mud percentage was significantly different to the length of the plant (30.63), number of leaves (14.39), stem diameter (0.48), the weight of the wet stover (7.87), dry weight (1.27), root fresh weight (2.87), and root length (22.64) plant on media Lapindo mud percentage of 0% (L0).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a novel therapeutic method for improving immune system regulation in SLE using escalating dose self-antigen dsDNA immunotherapy. Methods: Female Balb/c mice were given a single intraperitoneal injection of  0.5 ml pristane.. Starting at 12 weeks after injection,. the mice were evaluated for clinical and serological manifestations. Mice with lupus signs (PIL mice) were divided into four groups; positive control group, PIL A (0.01 μg/ml, 0.1 μg/ml, 1 μg/ml ) EDI dsDNA, PIL B (0.1 μg/ml, 1 μg/ml, 10 μg/ml ) EDI dsDNA, and PIL C(1 μg/ml, 10 μg/ml, 100 μg/ml). EDI dsDNA were administered once every week in consecutively. The doses would increase every week. dsDNA were complexed with the cationic polyethylenimine (PEI) before injection. Samples  were analyzed for autoantibodies levels (dsDNA, ANA) and ,TGF-β cytokine  from serum using ELISA and T-Reg, mature dendritic cells  from spleen using flowcytometry.. Results: Escalating dose antigen spesific immunotherapy with self-antigen dsDNA significantly decreased ANA (p=0.02), anti-dsDNA (p=0.03), dendritic cell mature  (p=0.02) compare to positive control, and not significantly decreases Th17 cells (p=0,18) but the result tend to get lower. Desensitization using self-antigen dsDNA was increased T-reg proliferation (p=0.00) and level of TGF-β (p=0.03) significantly compare to positive control. Conclusion: Desensitization using self-antigen dsDNA coupled to PEI was able to modulate T-Reg as a regulator immune respon and inhibit B and T cell functions in lupus mice model.

Kerentanan (Vuinerability) adalah keadaan atau kondisi yang dapat mengurangi kemampuan masyarakat untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi bahaya atau ancaman bencana. Logika Fuzzy adalah cara untuk memetakan suatu ke dalam suatu ruang output. Salah satu aplikasi logika Fuzzy adalah untuk menentukan kerentanan daerah banjir di Semarang Utara. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System. secara manual dan program menggunakan 5 defuzifikasi, yaitu Centroid, SOM (Smallest Of Maximum), LOM (Large Of Maximum), MOM (Mean Of Maximum), Bisector. Dari 2 contoh kasus diperoleh hasil pengujian dengan kesimpulan yang sama.
