Abstract

Desa Sanankerto di Malang memiliki hutan bambu yang luas. Potensi alam ini dipergunakan olehmasyarakat sekitar untuk memproduksi produk berbahan dasar bambu, salah satunya adalah produk tersebutadalah tusuk sate. Salah satu usaha kecil yang menghasilkan tusuk sate telah beroperasi selama kurang lebih7 tahun, namun selama ini mengalami kesulitan untuk memenuhi pesanan dari pelanggan. Hal inidisebabkan karena terdapat aktivitas-aktivitas yang tidak efisien sehingga menimbulkan pemborosan waktu.Untuk itu, dipergunakan pendekatan Lean untuk dapat mengindentifikasi aktivitas yang tidak bernilaitambah, mencari sumber penyebab dan kemudian merumuskan rekomendasi untuk dapat mengurangi ataumenghilangkannya. Berdasarkan hasil mapping proses dengan cara observasi, pembuatan Flow ProcessChart dan Value Stream Mapping diketahui masalah yang utama adalah proses pengeringan merupakanwaktu proses yang terpanjang sehingga berpotensi sebagai bottleneck. Selain itu, terdapat masalah seringnyaterjadi kecelakaan kerja dan keseluruhan proses yang dilakukan secara manual. Hasil dari studi inimerekomendasikan agar UKM melakukan perubahan layout, mengembangkan alat bantu untuk proseshandling bahan baku dan meningkatkan keamanan dalam melakukan proses produksi. Abstract

Struktur perekonomian wilayah yang relatif maju ditandai oleh semakin besarnya peran sektor industri dan jasa dalam menopang perekonomian wilayah tersebut. Sektor ini telah menggantikan peran sektor pertanian dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja dan sumber pendapatan wilayah. Namun, kontribusi sektor industri terhadap PDB terus menurun hingga 24,11% pada triwulan I 2011. Harapan baru bagi industri nasional muncul ketika pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan Masterplan Percepatan dan Perluasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia (MP3EI) di bulan Mei 2011. Salah satu dari 3 strategi utama MP3EI adalah mengembangkan koridor-koridor ekonomi sebagai pusat pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pulau Jawa sebagai salah satu koridor difokuskan sebagai pendorong industri dan jasa nasional. Jawa Timur sebagai provinsi yang memiliki pertumbuhan ekonomi di atas pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi secara keseluruhan. Pemilihan sektor industri yang potensial menjadi penting karena keterbatasan sumber daya yang dimiliki, di antaranya sumber daya manusia, sumber daya alam, teknologi, dan finansial. Kriteria yang digunakan untuk menentukan sektor industri unggulan yaitu: share output; share PDRB; keterkaitan; dampak multiplier; serta pertumbuhan sektoral. Sektor industri yang terpilih akan dilakukan analisis SWOT yang dikombinasikan dengan metode ANP untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan yang paling tepat untuk diterapkan

Abstract

Energi merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam operasional sebuah industri, khususnya rumah sakit.Industri rumah sakit merupakan salah satu industri yang memiliki tingkat ketergantungan tinggi terhadap kebutuhan energi untuk operasional usahanya.Kebutuhan energi yang tinggi menuntut manajemen rumah sakit melakukan efisiensi dalam penggunaannya.Sehingga diperlukan upaya konservasi untuk mencapai tujuan efisiensi. Audit energi merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengetahui apakah tingkat pemakaian energi di rumah sakit masuk dalam kategori boros atau efisien. Dari hasil audit, diketahui bahwa intensitas konsumsi energi rumah sakit haji berada di angka 17,648 kwh/m².Sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah angka tersebut masuk dalam kategori cukup efisien. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut terdapat peluang penghematan energi yang dapat dilakukan di rumah sakit, yaitu: (1) perubahan SOP fasilitas rumah sakit, (2) penyesuaian bangunan gedung rumah sakit, (3) penerapan teknologi hemat energi, (4) pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM.

Abstract

Mempertimbangkan produk ramah lingkungan yang menjadi isu lingkungan belakangan ini, product hetric lamp telah dicitrakan sebagai produk yang ramah lingkungan dilihat dari material penyusun produk serta fungsi produk. Tetapi, perusahaan dalam mencitrakan produknya sebagai green product tidak memperhatikan perspektif ramah lingkungan dari sisi life cycle produk yang dihasilkan.  Pada penelitian ini akan diidentifikasi apakah produk hetric lamp benar-benar memiliki kriteria ramah lingkungan dilihat dari sisi life cycle produk dengan menggunakan pendekatan Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Dari hasil Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) diketahui bahwa bagian proses produksi memiliki dampak terbesar yaitu sebesar 60.2 Pt. Dari hasil Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tersebut kemudian ditemukan empat alternatif utama yang akan dipilih untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan pada proses produksi dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Network Process (ANP). Metode ANP digunakan pada penelitian ini dikarenakan data-data yang ada memiliki hubungan keterkaitan antara satu elemen kriteria dengan elemen kriteria lainnya dan hubungan keterkaitan antara kriteria dengan subkriterianya.

Abstract

Keberadaan aktivitas pertambangan dan pengolahan marmer di Kecamatan Besuki dan Kecamatan Campurdarat Tulungagung menimbulkan berbagai dampak baik di bidang transportasi, penurunan kualitas udara, peningkatan kebisingan dan dampak dalam bidang sosial ekonomi kemasyarakatan. Penelitian ini mengukur nilai dari WTP masyarakat di kawasan pertambangan dan pengolahan marmer terhadap dampak sosial ekonomi yang diakibatkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode valuasi ekonomi nilai pengganti. Berdasarkan data primer dan data sekunder hasil survey diperoleh formulasi persamaan model WTP. Model WTP tersebut sebagai fungsi dari faktor tingkat pendidikan dan lokasi rumah penduduk.     Data primer dan data sekunder diolah dengan menggunakan metode Fuzzy MCDM dan analisis regresi logistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai WTP masyarakat terhadapa dampak lingkungan sosial ekonomi adalah sebesar Rp 14.722,00/bulan

Abstract

PT Abadi Adimulia is a company that work in plastic container production. The job arrival is static and the difference of processing time between the main process and the other process is very long. Until now the company use the First Come First Serve (FCFS) method to schedule their production activities, but with this method often the company finish their job over the due. The objective of this research was to obtain the production scheduling that give the minimum value in maximum lateness, makespan, number of late job, and the average tardiness on the blow mouldings machine. The production scheduling method that used in this research were Longest Processing Time method (LPT), Shortest Processing Time method (SPT), and Earliest Due Date method (EDD). The result from the scheduling using the three method indicate that LPT method is the best method to apply in this case which reduce the maximum lateness for 112.27 hours, makespan for 101.93 hours, number of late job for two jobs, and the average tardiness for 4.67 hours/job on June, maximum lateness for 60.07 hours, makespan for 123.19 hours, number of late job for one jobs, and the average tardiness for 2.5 hours/job on June, and maximum lateness for 53.42 hours, makespan for 38.1 hours, number of late job for one jobs, and the average tardiness for 2.05 hours/job on June.

Abstract

Life Cycle Management (LCM) is a framework of concepts, techniques and procedures concerned to an environmental management of products and organizations in achieving continuous environmental improvement viewed from life cycle perspective. One tool in LCM approach is Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) which consists of a method to quantify environmental impacts associated to products or activities throughout their life cycle, begins with extraction of raw materials, proceeds through production and use, ends to waste treatment (from cradle to grave). This research deals with analysis of LCA for products of Fluorescent Lamp of 20 Watt. The research question exposed is how to evaluate the best alternative to improve environmental performance among many strategies designed on LCA results. Due to in the real system, environmental consideration is not the only one criteria used for decision making, this research proposes to takes into account for multi criteria evaluation in selection of the best strategy such as criteria of investment cost, corporate image etc, to do so the method of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) is proposed to apply. In order to evaluate the environmental impact associated the process throughout the life cycle the product, existing database built in SimaPro-5 software. This research concludes that the strategy of “product take back” principle is the best solution in order to achieve the optimal environmental performance.

Abstract

This paper proposes a development of Fuzzy Goal Programming model with imprecise information goal for optimizing the regional water quality management. Imprecision is associated with fuzziness which is non-statistical in nature and refers to the absence of sharp boundary in the information. Imprecise standards in environmental management objective could be represented by fuzziness functions. The objectives of management to be achieved in this model are categorized as: (i) Environmental objectives i.e. to maintain an ambient water quality in two parameters and standards, BOD(Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and DO (Dissolved Oxygen) closed to desired stream standard goal and to achieve an improvement sanitation program target;(ii) Economic objective i.e. to minimize the total cost of removing residual by an alternatives waste of treatment systems. The model of "Streeter Phelps" is adopted to represent the ecological relationship between organic pollutant loading and fluctuated water quality. Then fuzzy goal programming is developed as one of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach to "optimize" the objectives of decisions, in order to calculate how many pollutant should be removed at each system. The solution of the model provides a way of trade off analysis between attainment of objectives and useful imprecise information to the decision maker of environmental planning

Abstract

This research conducted by background of “X” Agency East Java Province as one of the biggest agencies with the highest number of employees in East Java and has a very broad work scope because it is a merged from some sub agencies before. Various social issues of East Java governance in 2015 became the main task of “X” Agency East Java Province to be completed. In order to fulfill their roles, responsibilities, and functions as the government agencies that serve people, all employees in “X” Agency East Java Province are required to be able to have optimal performance. This study aimed to analyze factors that can affect the performance of employees so can provide feedback to “X” Agency East Java Province in terms of corrective measures to be taken in the future in order to always have optimal performance. This study used partial least squares analysis through SmartPLS 3.0 program. Independent variables analyzed in this study were competence, motivation,leadership, and work environment towards dependent variable thus stress management and employee performance. Random sampling taken at 160 employees of “X” Agency East Java Province. Data collection process conducted by questionnaires distribution. The result showed that only competence and work environment has a significant effects on stress management, while stress management itself and competence also have a significant effects on employee performance. Other variables that is motivation and leadership does not have a significant effects on the dependentvariable stress management and employee performance. Suggestion for improvement are given to the “X” Agency East Java Province at the end of the study in order to further improve their performance.

Abstract

Means of rail transport in developing countries became major commodities integrated transportation solutions, rail transport is efficient for the number of mass transit. It opens the market potential procurement of railway facilities by PT INKA, both in the domestic market or abroad. As a make to order-based manufacturing started in 2008 with a lot of project exports todeveloping countries, such as Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore. PT INKA export market opportunities potentially enough ahead to 2020, but delays in delivery schedule of the train is the main problem is always the case in recent years. Methods of lean manufacturing focuses on identifying and eliminating activities that do not have added value, the first step was the elaboration of a method VSM (value stream mapping) as tools to determine mapping the entire process of production, then weighted 7 waste via a questionnaire and the results of the ranking of waste are translated through the method of RCA (root cause analysis) and then do an analysis matrix mapping tools with value stream analysis tools (VALSAT) and there is a value added value ratio of 60.17% of the 84 activities of production and the total cycle time 29,905 minutes. As a tool to mitigate the improvement of waste carried out the translation of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and of design improvements value stream mapping - future state map can raise the value added ratio to 67.16% consists of 74 processes and production activities 26 795 minutes total cycle time. So this research can increase the productivity and know the activities that do not add value (Non Value Added) in line car body processes and eliminating waste (Waste) as one of the causes of train delays in delivery.
