The research entitled Student Analysis of Differences Perceptions on Professionalism of Lecturer in Palembang. The purpose of this research is to know the perception of student to professionalism of lecturer in vocational and academic education. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires using 5 Likert scales. Sampling using purposive sampling. Analytical technique used is Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results obtained in this study is there are significant student perception to professionalism of the lecturers, in terms of knowledge, skill and personality. The implication of this research is to be effective, lecturers need a combination of professional knowledge and specialized skills as well as their own personal qualities and experiences.

The Analysis of the influence Leadership and Motivation towards the employees’ working performance at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Great Eastern Palembang. This research is done to find out the influence of Leadership and Motivation to wards employees’ working performance both partially and wholly. There are two variable groups in this research : Independent Variable, which includes Leadership (X1) and Motivation (X2) as its indicators, and Dependent Variable, which includes Working Performance (Y). Next, the methods used in the research are descriptive and causal. There are 32 employees of PT. Asuransi Jiwa Great Eastern Palembang that are included in the population and the data collection technique used is by distributing questioners. To measure the relationship between variables used, the writeuses both simple linear regression analysis equipment and double linear regression analysis equipment. Based on the result of the regression analysis, it shows that there is a significant influence of Leadership and Motivation to wards the emlpoyees’ working performance at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Greats Eastern Palembang both individually and wholly. Hence, the improvement in the quality of leaders and the employees’ motivation will be able to increase working performance at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Great Eastern Palembang.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Sistem Pengarsipan Jurusan Berbasis Web pada Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (Tinjauan pada SAP Jurusan). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perangkat lunak yang menyimpan Satuan Acara Pengajaran semua jurusan yang ditempatkan pada satu server dan dapat diakses dari mana saja dan oleh siapa saja tanpa mengabaikan keamanan data. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) dapat melakukan perbaikan, penambahan atau pun pennghapusan data Satuan Acara Pengajaran dengan mudah (2) Semua SAP masing-masing jurusan dapat dengan mudah dibaca oleh pimpinan dan dapat mengetahui kwalitas dari kurikulum dan SAP yang sedang diterapkan pada masing-masing jurusan/program studi (3) masyarakat umum dapat dengan mudah membaca kurikulum pada jurusan yang diminati.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 2 kelompok variabel. Kelompok tersebut adalah variabel bebas indikatornya yang terdiri dari kepemimpinan (X1). Sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kinerja (Y). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif dan kausal. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 150 orang pegawai dan sampelnya adalah 80 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebar kuisioner. Untuk mengukur hubungan antar variabel alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis regresi bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kepemimpinan dan kinerja. Peningkatan kualitas pimpinan akan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya Palembang.

The aims of this research are 1) to know how big the effect of salesman amount towards the policy sale the increasing at Palembang Branch of PT. Great Eastern Life Indonesia, and 2) to analyze the salesman’s activities in enchancing policy sale to reach sale expected by Palembang Branch of PT. Great Eastern Life Indonesia.The method used in this research is descriptive. Total of the samples used in this research are 24 salesman, and interview used in collecting data. The simple linear regression used to measure the level of the inter-variable effect.The result show that the salesman amount has an effect toward the amount of 1.02 units towards the sale of the policy. In conducting sale to candidate clients, faced a lot of problems resulting in candidate clients being less sure towards the life insurance. Therefore, the salesman must be able to convince the candidate clients in conducting sale, so that the candidate clients do not hesitate to take the life insurance.

The existence of the textile industry in Indonesia is not only in the category of large and medium scale industries but also in small scale and some even in the home industry. These caused pollution mainly as a result of the dyeing of textiles. Dye not only occurs in industrial areas but also occurs in densely populated settlements. An attempt to treat the waste of the textile industry is needed to solve the environmental pollution. In this research, liquid waste was processed using the electrocoagulation method, and the expected concentration or hazard caused by waste was decreased and to fulfill the required environmental quality standard. Treatment of jumputan wastewater by electrocoagulation method using 4 aluminum electrodes 11x10.5 cm in size with MP-P configuration type (Monopolar-Paralel) for 120 minutes. The parameters measured in this study were chromium heavy metal content, TSS (Total Suspended Solid), TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), as well as changes in pH, color and turbidity values where the applied voltage variations were 10, 13, 15, 17, and 20 volts with variation of electrode distance used 1.5; 2.0; and 2.5 cm. The best condition for each parameter was obtained at a distance of 1.5 cm with a voltage of 20 volts. Effectiveness of electrocoagulation method to decrease turbidity value up to 99.84%; color 99.33%, chromium content of 62.5%; TSS 33.68%; TDS of 66.59% and raised the pH from 5.64 to 8.10, respectively.

The purpose of this research is to determine the practice of employee income Tax planning and its implication to corporate income tax of PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. As the result of the corporate tax planning there have been a tax saving which its amount equal to Rp 7.124.809.000,- in year 2005, and equal to Rp 7.809.425.100,- in year 2006. The corporate shouldn’t neglect the changes in applied income tax regulations, so the applied tax planning won’t violate the regulations.

Background: BPKAD Palembang City as a government agency for managing regional assets, which data on land and building asset management is still in the form of tabular documents. The process of visualizing land and building asset data can be represented through a Geographic Information System (GIS) for easy information and realizing transparent and serving government governance. Problem Formulation: (1) How is the implementation of web-based GIS in the management of regional assets in Palembang City, and (2) How is the level of effectiveness of web-based GIS in regional asset management in BPKAD Palembang City. Research objectives: (1) Provide information, monitoring and supervision to the government, especially BPKAD Palembang City on the classification and mapping of regional assets, and (2) Measure the level of effectiveness of GIS implementation in the management of regional assets. Research stages: Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing and Integration, Survey. The final result is a Geographic Information System product that provides easy information, monitoring, and supervision for the Palembang City BPKAD with an effectiveness rate of 81%

The development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is the basis of the economy in improving the national economic rate because most of the existing businesses in Indonesia are small and medium enterprises. Among those small and middle enterprises, Palembang Jumputan Textile has its own characteristics in patterns and colors. Under the influence of a certain pattern, Jumputan Textile has been known and spread in Sumatra and even in Indonesia and overseas. Nowadays, the regional pattern in every province has been in the fast track of development nationally. The creative industry in Palembang is including around 300 industries of Songket and Jumputan Textile recorded in this city. Community service activities have been conducted to two small and medium enterprises in the center of Palembang Jumputan Textile. The community activities are including the development of pattern making or motif on fabric, dyeing process, and online marketing technique in attempt to improve the sales.

Sopyan UKM is one of Palembang's craftsmen of Palembang woven fabric cloths / tajung located in the Tuan Kentang area of Palembang which is led by Mr. Sopyan Candra. The internet is a tool used by UKM Sopyan in introducing and promoting its products. Both through the website and social media such as Instagram, line, and WhatsApp. For this reason, counseling needs to be given on how to create a Website and introduce equipment used in the process of making woven woven cloths / tajung to Sopyan Palembang UKM.
