Abstract

AbstractThis paper wants to remind of Schumacher’s thought in order tocelebrate of one hundred years of his birthday. From his philosophical thought we are able to hope a fresh thought that bring human being to an enlightenment to go out from uncertainty life as an effect of science and technology. Schumacher was an amateur in economics who struggle in underground arena; he was popular for his concern to common people. He used eastern economic tradition that came from Buddhism and Gandhi’s thought that concern to common people interest. He also tried to realize his ideas in the concrete life. It was made him as a pioneer in the concept ofmiddle and appropriate technology. Small is Beautiful was hismasterpiece beside many other writings; however, if we retrace his works, all of his writing was a unity. We can not differentiatewhich one a philosophical view and other economical view are, for he gave the same attention—freedom to human being in his activities and creativities.Keywords: Schumacher, economic, philosophy, and commonpeople.

Abstract

AbstractStarting with the problem of dalihan na tolu as a cultural value and public bureaucracy that based on good governance principles, in the context of local wisdom surely it will be aproblem for Batak Toba community. Local wisdom is not able tosolve directly local problems in their plurality and complexity as it takes place in Batak Toba community. Local wisdom, therefore, in the context of culture is only able to support its community. If it faces other cultures, then, there will be some cultural distortions. In order to eliminate the cultural friction and support community structure, therefore, it needs a more sublime local wisdom to create a creative and intelligence local culture. Someone may critically and ironically ask questions: why, in global era when the world had been a global village, men as a person or a group want to comeback to local images; and what it is like a cultural differential phenomenon that makes priority to the images and just want to be a different performance in the context of deconstruction.Keywords: Dalihan na tolu, Local wisdom, Public buereucrasy

The problems also have touched values of human rights, such as: restlessness, isolation, etc. Modern-man increasingly is trapped by a hole which is dug by him(her)self. Technological advances in modern civilization have made man arrogant that eventually plunged the man into a visible-life problem. Those basic or fundamental problems are very urgent and demanding an answer. To give the answer, it is needed an approach which orientates to human existence. It can be found in  thoughts of Sören Kierkegaard. Kierkegaard distinguishes the human existence into three distinctive levels, namely: (1) the aesthetic existence, (2) the ethics existence, (3) the religious existence. These levels will affect the human existence and it is its way. He differs from other existentialist philosophers who in general are atheists. Abstract

Permendagri No. 16 2011 on the Change on Permendagri No. 11 2006 on Regional IntelligenceCommunity shows the strategic value for the regional government to detect every regional potentialthreats. Therefore there is an anticipation to solve the developing problems.This research was done tofind out coordination role in regional intelligence community activities at Demak regency. This researchis qualitative descriptive. The data collecting in use is observation and interview. The Demak regionalintelligence community does its role due to the intelligence functions such as investigation, securityand support. Therefore coordination is a very important in every activity. Optimal coordination andcommunication in routineactivities and incidental meetings are needed to maximize intelligenceinformation meeting. Strategy to optimize Demak regional intelligence community role is needed toorganize it to face every potential threats in supporting regional government and its related elements toestablish regional resilience.

Abstract

The issue of the relation between state and religion as socio-politic phenomena in Indonesia has been up and down in the Indonesian history. Therefore, it can be said as a latent issue in the life of the nation and state. This study employs the theory of ideological-philosophical transformation of Pancasila as anthropological basis of the nature of mono-pluralist human beings. In order to discuss the issue in the historical-philosophical approach, analysis and synthesis methods together with verstehen, interpretation and hermeneutic methods are employed. The relation between state and religion has been finalized by the founding fathers. They tried not to fall into the trap of the dichotomy between secular and religious state. They creatively-innovatively developed the thought of the relation between state and religion, which is the Indonesian uniqueness; the State of Republic of Indonesia which believes in one God in accordance with the basis of just and civilized humanity. Key words: reflection, philosophical, relation, state and religion Persoalan hubungan negara dan agama sebagai fenomena sosial politik di Indonesia menunjukkan adanya suatu kondisi pasang surut dalam perjalanan sejarah. Oleh karena itu, permasalahan ini dapat dikatakan bersifat latent dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Kajian ini menggunakan teori transformasi ideologi dan filsafat Pancasila sebagai dasar antroplogis hakikat manusia monopluralis. Dalam membahas persoalan tersebut digunakan pendekatan historis-filosofis melalui metode analisis dan sintesis serta dilengkapi pula dengan metode verstehen, interpretasi dan hermeunetika. Hubungan negara dan agama oleh pendiri Negara Republik Indonesia telah diselesaikan secara final. Pendiri negara berupaya untuk tidak terjebak dalam dikotomi negara sekular dan negara agama. Pendiri negara secara kreatif-inovatif membangun pemikiran hubungan negara dan agama yang khas Indonesia, yaitu negara ber-Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa menurut dasar kemanusiaan yang adil dan beradab. Kata kunci: refleksi, filosofis, hubungan, negara dan agama
