Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sikap siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Denpasar terhadap pembelajaran Sastra. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII. Objek penelitian ini adalah sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran sastra, Dalam metode pengumpulan data, digunakan metode dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara. Cara menganalisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) upaya guru dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran berpuat pada guru dan berpusat pada siswa. (2) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa, yaitu faktor fisiologis, psikologis, faktor sosial. (3) Kendala-kendala dihadapi guru, yaitu mengaitkan komponen-komponen pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru menerapkan metode pembelajaran sebagai usaha meningkatkan sikap siswa. Ada beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa, ada kendala-kendala saat meningkatkan sikap siswa. Disarankan kepada guru, agar meningkatkan upaya dan cara mengajar, Kata kunci: sikap siswa, pembelajaran, sastra Indonesia.   Abstract This research aims for describing students attitude on class XII SMKN 1 Denpasar to learning literature. The subject is the students class XII SMKN 1 Denpasar. The object is students attitude to learning literature, The data collection method is used are documentation, observation, interview. Data analysis method, those are reduction, data report, conclusion and verification. The result of research shows (1) the teacher effort those are applying teacher centered method, student centered method. (2) Factors that influence, those are physiological factor, psychological factor, social factor. (3) Teacher constrains is when take a relation on the each of learning components. It can be concluded that the teacher applied several learning method as an effort of improving students attitude. There are factors influence to students attitude, there are constrains when improving students attitude. It is suggested to teacher for improve more the effort and teaching method.   Keywords: students attitude, learning, Indonesian literature.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kualitas tes sumatif bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMPN 8 Denpasar. Rancangan penelitian bersifat ex-post facto. Subjek berjumlah 349 orang. Objeknya yaitu tes dan hasil tes sumatif. Metode dokumen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Teknik analisis, yaitu statistik deskiptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) analisis validitas isi diperoleh validitas yang tinggi. (2) Analisis reliabilitas tes memiliki reliabilitas tinggi. (3) Analisis daya beda ditemukan 1 soal daya bedanya sangat baik, 6 soal daya bedanya baik, 29 soal daya bedanya sedang, 13 soal daya bedanya kurang baik, dan 1 soal daya bedanya tidak baik. (4) Analisis tingkat kesukaran diperoleh 42 soal klasifikasi sedang, 8 soal klasifikasi mudah. (5) Analisis kemampuan pengecoh ditemukan 49 soal pengecohnya berfungsi efektif dan 1 soal tidak berfungsi efektif.   Kata Kunci : Kualitas tes sumatif, bahasa Indonesia. Abstract This study aims to determine the quality of Indonesian language summative tests class VIII SMPN 8 Denpasar. The research design is ex-post factor. Subjects totaling 349 students. The object are summative test and the result summative test. Document method was used for collecting data. The data analyzed by descriptive statistic technique. The result showed: (1) content validity analyzed is obtained high content validity. (2) Test reliability analysis has high reliability. (3) In power difference analysis found a question has very well, 6 questions its power difference is good, 29 questions its power difference is medium, 13 questions its power difference is not so good, a question its power difference not good. (4) Analysis of difficulty level gained 42 medium classification questions, 8 easy classification questions. (5) Analysis capabilities rapscallion found 49 questions the rapscallion functioning effectively and a question is not effectively.   Keywords : Summative test quality, Indonesian language

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi peningkatan pemahaman kosakata tanamam obat tradisional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru yang mengajar di kelas VII SMPN 8 Denpasar. Objek penelitian ini adalah strategi yang digunakan, penerapan strategi yang digunakan, kendala yang dihadapi guru. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Strategi yang digunakan, yaitu heuristik dan ekspositoris. (2) Penerapan strategi melalui beberapa langkah pada kegiatan pendahuluan hingga kegiatan akhir. (3) Kendala guru, yaitu sulit mengondisikan kelas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru menggunakan strategi ekspositoris dan heuristik. Penerapan strategi sudah sesuai langkah-langkah yang ditetapkan, kendala guru ialah sulit mengondisikan siswa. Disarankan kepada guru agar selalu mengevaluasi setiap strategi yang diterapkan di dalam kelas,   Kata-kata kunci: strategi, pemahaman kosakata. ABSTRACT This research aim describing the improving strategy of understanding traditional herbal vocabulary. The subject of research is the teacher who teach in class VII SMPN 8 Denpasar. The object of research is the strategy which is used, the strategy application which is used, constraints which is faced by teacher. The data collection method this research are observation method, documentation, interview. The result of research shows (1) the strategy which is used are heuristic and ekspositoris. (2) The strategy application through several steps in beginning until ending activities. (3) The teacher constraint was difficult for conditioning the class. It can be concluded the teacher used ekspositoris strategy and heuristic. The application of strategy has appropriate steps that has been decided, the teacher constraint is difficult to conditioning students. It is suggested the teacher in order to evaluate each strategy which is applied in the class.   Key words: the strategy,  vocabulary understanding.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual, hasil belajar siswa, dan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual dalam pembelajaran menulis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas XII AV2 SMKN 1 Denpasar. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual, hasil belajar siswa, dan respons siswa. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi, observasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual dalam pembelajaran menulis sudah dapat dilihat melalui 17 langkah pembelajaran, baik pada pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Hasil belajar siswa tergolong baik sekali dengan skor 85,5. Siswa merespons positif terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kontekstual, hasil belajar siswa tergolong baik sekali. Siswa merespons positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual.   Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kontekstual, pembelajaran menulis.   Abstract This research aims for describing the application of contextual teaching learning model, student learning outcome, and student respond.  Subject of research is an Indonesian language teacher; students class XIIAV2 SMKN 1 Denpasar. Determining the sumple using cluster sampling technique. Object of research is application of contextual teaching learning model, students learning outcome, and students respond. The data collection method this research are document method, observation, test, quetionaire. The result of research indicate that  application of contextual teaching learning model in writing lesson can be seen in 17 steps in beginning until ending activities. Student learning outcome was classified exelence, with score 85,5. The students respond positively to learning activities. Based on the result and discussion, it can be concluded that by applying contextual teaching learning model, students learning outcome was classified exelence. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sikap bahasa yang ditunjukkan oleh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja terhadap bahasa Indonesia dilihat dari (1) aspek konatif, (2) afektif, (3) kognitif, dan (4) faktor yang menyebabkan kecenderungan sikap bahasa tersebut. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, samaran terbanding, angket, dan wawancara. Analisis data observasi dan wawancara dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan/verifikasi. Analisis data samaran terbanding dan kuesioner secara umum melalui empat tahap, yaitu penggolongan, pengkonversian, penghitungan frekuensi, dan menentukan kecenderungan sikap bahasa siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap bahasa siswa SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja terhadap bahasa Indonesia dilihat dari (1) aspek konatifnya berada pada kategori negatif, (2) aspek afektifnya berada pada kategori positif, dan (3) aspek kognitifnya berada pada kategori netral. (4) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kecenderungan sikap bahasa tersebut adalah faktor internal dan eksternal. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa SMAN 1 Singaraja cenderung memiliki  sikap bahasa yang bersifat meniga terhadap bahasa Indonesia, yang disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Kata kunci: sikap bahasa, studi kasus, SMA     Abstract This was a case study  research  which aimed to describe language attitude showed by the students of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja towards Indonesian language viewed from (1) conative aspect, (2) affective aspect, (3) cognitive aspect, and (4) the factors that caused the tendency of language attitudes. The subjects were the students of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja in academic year 2012/2013.The data were collected by observation, matched-guised, questionnaires and interviews. The data from observation and interviews was analyzed through three stages, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) data conclusions and verification. The data from matched-guised and questionnaires was analyzed generally through four phases, namely: (1) classification, conversion, counting frequency, and determine the tendency of student’s language attitude. The results showed that the language attitudes of students of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja towards Indonesian language viewed from (1) the conative aspects are in the negative category, (2) affective aspect are in the positive category, and (3) the cognitive aspect are in the neutral category. (4) Generally factors lead to the students language attitude tendency are internal and external factors. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the students of SMAN 1 Singaraja tend to have attitudes that are inconsistent with the Indonesian language, which is led by the internal and external factors. Abstract

Elementary school students’ achievement in natural science in the academic year of 2015/2016 at Cluster V, Buleleng regency, Bali province was considerably low. An early observation also revealed low motivation, negative attitudes towards teachers, low self-esteem and low confidence in self-capability. Therefore, a breakthrough approach was urgently required to improve the students' performance in natural science learning. The current article aimed at investigating the effects of the (Nature of Science) NOS-oriented cooperative learning model with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the elementary school students’ achievement in natural science. The study was a quasi-experimental research adopting the post-test only control group design. The research conducted in elementary schools in Cluster V Buleleng sub-district, Buleleng regency, Bali, Indonesia. The research subject was 137 students in Grade 5 consisting of six classes from  5 elementary schools. The hypothesis was examined using an inferential statistics, the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the learning results of natural science between the students taught with the NOS-oriented cooperative learning model with the NHT type and those with the conventional learning model (t count = 7,048 >t table = 2,000). The students taught with the NOS-oriented constructive learning model with the NHT type achieved better than those with the conventional learning model. Therefore, it concluded that the NOS-oriented cooperative learning model with the NHT type gave positive effects on the fifth year students’ achievement in natural science learning.

Abstract

Abstract

Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa SMAN 1 Singaraja cenderung memiliki  sikap bahasa yang bersifat meniga terhadap bahasa Indonesia, yang disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Kata kunci: sikap bahasa, studi kasus, SMA     Abstract This was a case study  research  which aimed to describe language attitude showed by the students of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja towards Indonesian language viewed from (1) conative aspect, (2) affective aspect, (3) cognitive aspect, and (4) the factors that caused the tendency of language attitudes. The subjects were the students of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja in academic year 2012/2013.The data were collected by observation, matched-guised, questionnaires and interviews. The data from observation and interviews was analyzed through three stages, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) data conclusions and verification. The data from matched-guised and questionnaires was analyzed generally through four phases, namely: (1) classification, conversion, counting frequency, and determine the tendency of student?s language attitude. The results showed that the language attitudes of students of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja towards Indonesian language viewed from (1) the conative aspects are in the negative category, (2) affective aspect are in the positive category, and (3) the cognitive aspect are in the neutral category. (4) Generally factors lead to the students language attitude tendency are internal and external factors. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the students of SMAN 1 Singaraja tend to have attitudes that are inconsistent with the Indonesian language, which is led by the internal and external factors.
