Abstract

Making lecture schedules manually is very difficult. We have to check every schedule if it does not conflict with the existing schedule and is time consuming and inefficient because of frequent errors. After the schedule is complete, every day there is a process of student attendance recapitulation and lecturer attendance recapitulation, this process often occurs with recap errors and is very long, for example student recaps can be done for months and when informing student compliance is late, many students complain. With this problem, the authors make changes so that the problem is resolved by using the FET application for scheduling lectures quickly, efficiently and accurately, the results of the lecture schedule we can import into the MySQL database then will be displayed and processed in the form of an information system-based website. can manage student and lecturer attendance online recap quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Drawers for storing micro-sized electronic items that are usually used on campus are napolly-type drawers, which are plastic drawers, these drawers are considered ineffective because there is no notification that the drawer is open or the drawer is being opened by someone. In this case the authors designed and made the Drawer Door Security Prototype Using LDR and RFID sensors with a Microcontroller-based Sentora Platform. This system is equipped with an LDR sensor as a detector that if the drawer is opened too long then the alarm will be active until the door is closed again. RFID as a drawer door opener access. ESP8266 as a medium for sending data from the Arduino System to Sentora and using a web service to provide information to the drawer owner. If the LDR sensor detects an open drawer door for too long then ESP8266 will send information to the sentora that uses the web service as a notification. If the RFID Tag is registered, the solenoid opens. The state of the solenoid as a door lock will be displayed on the web service that the state of the solenoid has changed. From making this tool, it is expected that if there is someone who wants to break into a drawer it will be easily captured and more secure because it uses multiple layers of security

Abstract

Handling of network problems at Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Padang is still done conventionally. This conventional method has several weaknesses, among others: the process of finding out slow network problems, information on problematic network conditions is conveyed using voice calls from smartphones, the slow network checking process and inefficient use of time. From this problem, a system for network handling that utilizes information technology is developed called Network Monitoring by implementing the Cacti and Telegram software functions. The result of this research is a network monitoring system based on web browser and mobile by implementing Cacti with SNMP features as network monitoring and Telegram as notification. The aim is to reduce weaknesses in the handling and repair of the network that has been used in Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Padang

Abstract

Attendance system with the use of face recognition is a system that utilizes biometrics in the form of facial patterns and compares detected faces with stored faces.To capture facial patterns from users who will be absent, use an esp32-cam camera module embedded in the face recognition library so that able to compare detected faces with stored ones. This system is integrated with a web server which is designed to manage and store student absences so that one face detection tool can be used by more than one class simultaneously. The web server is controlled by the admin to manage absent schedules starting from class schedules, class schedules as well as entry and exit hours, so that the use of the web server does not allow duplicate data or attendance more than once

Abstract

The learning process or other activities related to electronics are often faced with various symbols of electronic components, where sometimes it is difficult to distinguish and know the symbols, physical forms, and functions of these electronic components. Especially at this time the learning process is carried out online. So that students do not understand the material being taught. For this reason, it is necessary to make learning media using augmented reality technology to make it easier for students to learn about basic electronic components. The system is built using the android platform that displays 3D models using markers in the form of 2D images and presents an interface and 3D image processing for basic electronics components using Unity 3D software. The programming line used is C#, the augmented reality technology processing engine used in this application is Vuforia which is an additional package to the Unity 3D Software
