Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of River North Jalau Kampar Kampar district. The purpose of this study was to determine the identification of members of Muslim groups and behavior patterns executed in maintaining group identity by Muslim groups. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This makes the entire study population as research subjects. The subjects of this study amounted to 10 heads of household. Instrument Data is interview, observation and documentation. These results indicate that the Muslim group identification can be seen from the style of dress, activity in daily life and life in society. The members of the Muslim group has its own style of dress or appearance, in contrast to other Muslim communities in the village of Jalau River. Apart from that there are actions or behaviors perpetrated by Muslim groups that aims to maintain its identity. And the actions carried out by Muslim groups have reasons or specific values why it was committed.Keywords: maintenance of identity, social groups

Abstract

Indonesia is well known as a country which a wealth of herbs and spices and also traditional plants. Because of the natural wealth, most of Indonesia society are able to process them become a useful thing for human health both for prevention and medical treatment. Herb is Indonesian traditional medicine has been used long ago and has been proven the benefits. Herb is a drinkwhich made of natural ingredients, part of plants such as salsify, leaves and bark. It also made of animal body such as bile goat or seahorse of crocodile. This study conducted to reveal about how life of herbal trader from taking the ingredients, making herb until selling herb. This study is used social action theory by Max Weber and economic moral theory merchant by Hans-Dieter Evers. This study used qualitative method. The result of this study showed that they had some differences in their activity as traders carrying medicinal. The differences were how to make herb, to sell herb, and their dress. However, it had similarity in taking the ingredients, the price andpayment cycle by customer. This activity based on considering the culture and economy. The result of this study is expected to be able to provide an overview to all those who needs information about life of traders carrying medicinal. Abstract

In this modern times, the level of the needs of human life more varied. Not only food, cloth and board to the main needs of the community’s city. But the city will seek this type of other necessities if the needs of the main have been fulfilled. One of them is to meet the needs in the field of entertainment and recreation. Therefore the city of Pekanbaru have some place of recreation, such us : The Recreation Park of Alam Mayang, The Park of Putri Kacang Mayang, a City Park, The City Forest, The Museum of Sang Nila Utama, The Full MTQ and The Art of Idrus Tintin, The Monument Locomotive and etc. Recreation has become an essential element in the life of modern society or urban areas. Income, the conditions of work and the development of transportation that is getting better has been giving people more money, time and mobility is higher for doing recreation. Naturally, human beings are capable of creating a place of recreation of her or his own. Humans create a place of recreation, because of narrow space open public in the city of Pekanbaru. Place recreation is available was still can not give satisfaction for the city of Pekanbaru. To that end, every society and individuals will be looking for something new, or a new, as well as places that feels could be their recreation alternative. This is what makes people interested in visiting the Stadion of Riau are beginning to function as facilities and infrastructure the sport to the show will complete for the 2012, even changing the function of a place where an alternative society because the grandeur of the building and the location for doing recreation, such as sports or just a place of young man or girls. Altough visitors to the Stadion of Riau are aware of punishment that is like the lighting at night, the lack of management of hygiene and management supervision, but visitors can just ignore it because visitors more concerned with rewards that they can, like not the cost, the recreation not so far from the visitors residence, as well as the venue of the Stadion Utama Riau and the existence of its own for the society of Riau. The recreation that most often by visitors in the Stadion of Riau is the activity of the food and beverage, the activities of the game and sports, as well as activities of youth.Keywords : Recreation, Society, and Over the Function.

Abstract

Bimba-Aiueo is a non-formal educational institutions early age (3-6 years) who were in the shade of the Indonesian Child Education Foundation (YPAI). Bimba-Aiueo not a tutoring but organizers of a guidance unit interest in reading and learning of children, especially young children. Early childhood is a group of children who are in the process of growth and development is untuk.Penelitian aims to determine how the process of learning and playing in Bimba-Aiueo Ardath Pekanbaru, to determine the value of planting in Bimba-Aiueo Ardath. The theory used in this research is the theory of socialization. Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is to describe how the smoking behavior of women in urban areas with existing case studies student in town Pekanbaru. this study uses accidental sampling. Informants in this study were women’s status as a student in town. Informants are 5 people that students who smoked secretly and openly. Data analysis is Qualitative Descriptive. By filtering the data through Observation and Interviews. The theory used in this research is the theory about the Lifestyle and Gender Theory. From the study it can be concluded that smoking behavior conducted by the student in the city of Pekanbaru came from their own. Smoking behavior conducted by a student in the city Pekanbaru caused by the lack of parental control and strengthened the influence of the environment or peers. The study also illustrates that the student smoking in the city of Pekanbaru classified in light smokers because cigarettes consumed relatively little with consideration of taste, price, and their economic cirucumstances. The study also concluded that students who smoke basically have the knowledge about the negative effects of smoking behavior. They ignore the habit that they do not bring harm to them.Keywords : Behaviour, Smoke, Students

Abstract

The research present describe the smoke activity by students of Junior High School in Pekanbaru city (study case students of Junior High School in Pekanbaru city). Nowdays smoke activity have done by people in Indonesia, and especially smoke activity was doing by teenagers likes student and kids. Smoke can damaged healthy man althought active or passive smokers.The research use the methode are qualitative methodes that analyze problem research by describe the subject and object conditions based on real fact. This research use location in Pekanbaru City and researcher collect data from books, government regulation, jurnal, mass media, website and deep interview with informan research such as student of Junior High School in Pekanbaru city.The conclusion of this research are the smoke activity by students Junior High School in Pekanbaru City has known from family and their friends. The influence factors are the school friend that can push student to know and try for smoke. And social settings that influence student to get smoke are permissive act parents, friends environment, pshycology satisfied from students that has try for smoke.Keywords: smoke, activity and students.

cle of Brotherhood Java Kuantan Singingi is a community organization of Java that is born of a sense of concern for the growing conditions at the time, where ethnic non- ethnic local pressure and unpleasant treatment while waiting for the bus or buy a ticket for travel undertaken by elements that responsible. Fraternal Society organizations Kuantan Java Singingi which until now still exists. Fraternal Society of Java Kuantan Singingi was confirmed in 2006 in the village of Gold Water District of Singingi Regency Kuantan Singingi bersempena on the anniversary of the disesa Transmigration decided. Fraternal Society of Java Kuantan Singingi formed because they are aware that humans require the help of others to meet their needs. Fraternal Society of Java Kuantan Singingi a community that still exists today in the area Kuntan Singingi .This research was conducted to find out what social capital embodied in Kuantan Java Singingi Brotherhood Society . This research was conducted using qualitative method by using purposive technique dimanana research subjects consist of a chairman, deputy chairman, secretary and members of the Brotherhood Society Singingi Kuantan Java. In the Java community, they have a high respect for those considered above. Cohesiveness and solidarity of the social capital that can facilitate a search for a common vision and mission. Social capital embodied in very diverse activities such as sponsorship of orphans, economic empowerment and a member of the Islamic new year peringgatan ( suroan ). The existence of social capital in the Society Brotherhood Singingi Kuantan Java is one of the main components in moving togetherness, solidarity, trust and interrelatedness interrelatedness mengguntungkan to achieve common goals.Keywords: Social Capital, Society, Social Activities

This research was conducted in the village Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu Kabupaten Kampar with the aim to obtain information about land conflicts between communities and PT. Inti Kamparindo Sejahterah. Some of the problems in this study were (1) How is the source of conflict in the village of Danau Lancang Districts Tapung Hulu Kampar district? (2) What forms of conflict that occurred in the village of Danau Lancang Districts Tapung Hulu Kampar district? (3) How to conflict resolution in the Village of Danau Lancang Districts Tapung Hulu Kampar district?. The title of this research is "Land Conflicts between communities in the village of Lancang Lake District of Hulu Tapung Kampar District". This research aims to determine how the source of conflict in the Village of Lake Lancang District of Hulu Tapung Kampar district. To determine the shape of the conflict in the Village of Lake Lancang District of Hulu Tapung Kampar district. To mengetahuai how conflict resolution efforts in the Village of Lake Lancang District of Hulu Tapung Kampar district. This research is qualitative because its nature is shaped case, which was the subject of this study is determined by those who know and are involved directly in the conflicts as much as 8 subjects land PT. Inti kamparindo Sejahtera. In colleccting the data, engineering data colleeting using observation, interviews. To analyze the problems in this study using qualitative analysis as well as well be described in descriptive in doing the writing. Abstract

This thesis is submitted in order to qualify holds a Bachelor of Sociology. With the title economic activities and social online business among students . the issues discussed in the thesis this is how economic activities online business among students and social relations in the business of online among students and how the benefits of running a business online among students. The subject in this study is 7 people. The samples used in this study is the snowball, this technique is the first sample and the next is obtained from information first sample. The method used is the method of research a qualitative because this method to explain every problem about this title is a descriptive. Instruments screening data used is an observation, a list of questions and documents. The theory used theory is social capital where to there is confidence, the network and norms. The results in general, the writer can say that students who conduct business online are basically to add to the needs of as a student, the subject in this study and of other people like a friend that come in online business is on the previous one never follow any business. Relations between resellers and customers not only through social media but offline. Sellers receive if a buyer who wants to meet to do the sale and purchase transactions. The importance of a social capital that must be held a reseller can help online business is in the technician can run smoothly. Abstract

Research on the phenomenon of homosexual gay in the city of Pekanbaru is motivated by the existence of the airings of homosexuals in recent years past. The research looked at from the point of view of the background sociological to form a pattern of homosexual gay behavior, which in socialization both of the family and close associates, socialization environments outside the home and friends play, and also personal experience gay actors itself there is socialization or parenting wrong so instrumental in shaping his homosexual behavior. From the above phenomena can be seen some of the research problem, namely: how the background of the formation of gay behavior patterns and how the view of the behavior of the gay community itself.This study uses a method or approach exploratory qualitative case study design with the primary data source as much as six respondents which of the six respondents, there are two gay actors respondents, two respondents significant other, and two respondents reference group. Then secondary data sources derived from the literature through books, print and Internet media and institutions or other relevant bodies. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the sampling technique used was snowball sampling with key informants set previoiusly. Then the data obtained and presented descriptively so that it can be drawn a conclusion.The results showed that: 1) The process of internalization and socialization is wrong both in the family and the surrounding environment and bad personal experience is the background causes of homosexuality on a person, and not innate, but occurs because of the learning process so as to form a pattern that became habit. 2) Basically, gay actors see themselves as good people who do not want to disturb or be disturbed by others (the general public), because the path they chose. Then view of significant other to his family members who are gay positive enough and wanted to see his family members who are gay live a normal life, while the reference group's view of the behavior of gay friends of the ordinary although the views of the public in general is quite negative towards gays.Keywords: Background, Pattern of Behavior, Gay.
