Abstract

Research on emergent literacy states that young children learn about reading through experiences with oral language. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of implementing dialogic reading techniques in a pos paud setting via caregiver training program by kader pos paud to improve emergent literacy development. In the first experiment, the sample consisted of 19 respondents in the control group and 17  in the experiment group. The result of the study indicated an improvement in emergent literacy knowledge and dialogic reading skill for kader pos paud that following the training program. The independent t-test result indicated that post-treatment score for the experiment group was significantly better than the control group. The paired t-test results showed significant gain between pre and post treatment for experiment group.The score was entered to SPSS version 17. In the second experiment, there are  8 children in the control group and 9 children in the experiment group.The emergent literacy test that made by the researcher  was used to determine the emergent literacy development of the subjects. The Mann Whitney test statistical method indicated significant gain between the experimental group and the control group. A Wilcoxon test revealed a significant gain in emergent literacy development for the experimental group. Therefore, this study found that a  caregiver  on  storybook  reading  may  lead  to  a  possible  positive  influenced    in  emergent  literacy development for the pre-kindergarten children whose caregivers attended the training program.How to citeAstuti, T., & Ekowarni, E. Abstract

Budaya patriarki yang berorientasi pada kekuasaan laki-laki, memberikan kedudukan dankekuasaan yang lebih dominan kepada laki-laki, sehingga kedudukan perempuan menjadi lemahdan mendorong perempuan untuk menjadi tergantung dengan laki-laki, begitu pula dalamhubungan rumah tangga. Ketergantungan istri kepada suami secara ekonomi dalam rumah tanggaseringkali menjadi penyebab istri menjadi rentan terhadap tindakan kekerasan dalam rumahtangga. Kemandirian dengan cara bekerja merupakan suatu usaha agar istri memiliki kemampuandalam mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap suami, sehingga istri lebih dapat menentukan sikapdalam menghadapi masalah, salah satunya dalam menghadapi kekerasan yang dilakukan suami.Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkap hubungan antara kemandirian dengan sikap terhadapkekerasan suami pada istri yang bekerja, di Kelurahan Sampangan, Kecamatan Gajah MungkurSemarang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah istri yang bekerja di bidang swasta, usia 21-40 tahun dansudah mempunyai anak. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan dua skala yaitu, skalakemandirian dengan 39 aitem dengan = 0,9308 dan skala sikap terhadap kekerasan suami padaistri dengan 40 aitem dengan = 0,9442. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan skor koefisien korelasisebesar rxy= -0,524 dengan p=0,001 (p<0,01). Arah hubungan yang negatif menunjukkan bahwasemakin tinggi kemandirian istri yang bekerja, maka semakin negatif sikap terhadap kekerasandalam rumah tangga atau sikap cenderung menolak kekerasan. Sebaliknya semakin rendahtingkat kemandirian, maka semakin positif sikap terhadap kekerasan suami pada istri.Kemandirian memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 27,4 % terhadap sikap terhadapkekerasan dalam rumah tangga, sedangkan sebesar 72,6 % sikap istri terhadap kekerasan yangdilakukan suami dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain, misalnya perasaan takut akan pembalasanyang dilakukan suami, merasa tidak ada tempat lain yang dituju, takut adanya stigma sosial danisolasi sosial, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, takut adanya perlakuan kejam, memikirkankepentingan anak, ancaman dari pelaku dengan melukai orang lain yang disayang korban, sertaistri masih mencintai suami.Kata Kunci: kemandirian, sikap terhadap kekerasan suami pada istri, istri bekerja

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to describe the development of emergent literacy in kindergarten children and to compare the development of emergent literacy of kindergarten children in the urban and sub urban area of Semarang city. In order to collect data, the Emergent Literacy developmental Test was used (part of the test was adapted from the Get Ready To Read by Whitehurst). In total, 36 children aged 4-5 years participated in the study. The results showed that kindergarten children from urban area scored higher significantly (13.188 ± 3.43) in the emergent literacy than children from sub urban area (10.00 ± 3.146; t(35) = 2.903; p = 0.003).

Abstract

As a mandatory part of an undergraduate degree in almost all universities, students are required to write their undergraduate thesis in order to receive their degree. It is not an easy job, because there are many challenges and problems while planning and writing their paper. Many students are quite frustrated and tensed as their degree depends on their final thesis submission. On the other hand, the process are not always cause the student become depresssed and fail. The condition is due to the support from the people around them. This study took a qualitative approach to explain that fenomena. The formalized question of the study is how the social support experiences impact the paper writing process. There are six (6) student of the Faculty of Psychology that participated in the study. Each respondent has a different experience with social support that they had received, and not all of them have a positive effect. Social support received by students from a variety of sources and different types of social support benefits more. Students who were interviewed stated that between parents and friends, have just as great a role but they have differences in the type of social support that fit with the students.

Abstract

Verbal creativity is the ability to think fluent, flexible, and original that manifested through the words. Psychological freedom is one factor that can develop creativity. One alternative teaching methods that provide freedom in an atmosphere of learning is the Problem Posing Method (PPM) which is triggered by Paulo Freire. This research aims to determine the presence or absence of the influence of PPM on verbal creativity. Characteristic of the subjects was junior high school students in grade 7th, received conventional learning materials, and have never had learning by using PPM. This study used a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects in the study were divided into two, experimental group (N = 33) and control group (N= 35). The data was collected using the Verbal Creativity Test. The results of hypothesis testing used Independent Sample T Test techniques showed the differences of mean = 3.294, α = 0.014 with (p<0.05).Keywords: Verbal creativity, problem posing method, a test of verbal creativity, junior high school students

Abstract

Relationship between parents and adolescents influence achievement at school. The research was conducted to determine differences of self-regulated learning (SRL) in terms of parenting style. The population is 8th grade students of junior high school in SMP Fransiskus and SMP PGRI 01 Semarang. The hypothesis is there are differences of SRL in terms of parenting style. Parenting is overall characteristic of parent’s behavior on adolescents, including a response in the form of parental warmth, sensitivity and criticism, discipline, and involvement (control). Self-regulated learning is the ability of students to use metacognition, motivation and behavior to achieve learning goals. Method of data collection used two scales namely Parenting Scale and Self Regulated Learning scale. Parenting Scale consists of 42 aitem (α = 0.931) and the SRL scale consists of 37 aitem (α = 0.906). This study involved 208 students. Sampling technique carried out by cluster random sampling. Data analysis was performed by one way analysis of variance (one way-Anova). Based on the data analysis, obtained F count = 3152 with p = 0.029 (p<0.05). This result indicates that there are significant differences in SRL on students with the type of parenting authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and neglect, so the hypothesis was accepted.Keywords: Parenting style, SRL, 8th grade students

Abstract

Komunikasi Interpersonal adalah hal yang sangat penting bagi siswa. Komunikasi interpersonal yang baik pada siswa dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan performa siswa dikelas, selain itu semakin baik kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa maka semakin rendah keterlibatan siswa pada kenakalan remaja. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meingkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan asertivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh asertivitas terhadap kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen, dengan menggunakan desain Non - randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Penentuan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berdasarkan kelas yang tersedia, dengan jumlah subjek 30 pada kelompok kontrol dan 30 subjek pada kelompok eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Skala Komunikasi Interpersonal. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor komunikasi interpersonal setelah diberikan pelatihan asertivitas. Pada Kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan rerata yang signifikan dari 78,16 ke 83,20 (p < 0,001). Dari hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan asertivitas adalah salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the performance of Islamic banks using the SCnP Model. The population of this study is all Islamic commercial banks registered with the OJK from 2017-2019. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, while the data analysis technique was descriptive. The SCnP model has two variables, namely Shariah Conformity with Islamic Income Ratio indicators, Islamic Investment Ratio and Profit Sharing Ratio and Profitability with Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) and Profit Margin Ratio indicators. The analysis on the SCnP results is that Islamic banks are spread out in four quadrants (ULQ, LLQ, URQ and LRQ) and recommends a sample of research banks, namely subsidiaries of state-owned banks namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah, Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah. The results of the study show that for three years, 2017-2019, the results show that Islamic banks are spread out in only two quadrants, namely the Lower Left Quadrant (LLQ) and the Upper Left Quadrant (ULQ). Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua bank umum syariah yang terdaftar di OJK dari tahun 2017-2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sementara teknik analisis data berupa deskriptif. Abstract

Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dalam rangka meningkatkan penerimaan pajak mengeluarkan aturan yaitu SE-24/PJ/2019 mengenai Implementasi Compliance Risk Management (CRM), dimana salah satu nya mengatur mengenai kegiatan pengawasan dan pemeriksaan pajak. Compliance Risk Management merupakan sebuah proses pengelolaan risiko kepatuhan Wajib Pajak yang dilakukan secara sistematis oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dengan membuat pilihan perlakuan yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan secara efektif sekaligus mencegah ketidakpatuhan berdasarkan perilaku Wajib Pajak dan kapasitas sumber daya yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan dan evaluasi pemeriksaan pajak dengan Compliance Risk Management dalam meningkatkan penerimaan pajak pada KPP Pratama Senen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kepustakaan dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemeriksaan pajak dengan Compliance Risk Management itu menghasilkan pada tahun 2020 tercapainya penerimaan pajak pada KPP Pratama Senen sebesar 1.599.611.317.526 atau capaian 118,50 % dan meningkatnya kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi menjadi 101% dan wajib pajak badan menjadi 83%. dan evaluasi penerapan Compliance Risk Management dengan menggunakan enam indikator menurut William Dunn yaitu : efektivitas, efisiensi, perataan, kecukupan, responsivitas, dan ketepatan.
