Abstract

This research is to see the effect of the use of the ArbuscularMycorrhizalFungi (AMF) and phosphorus on growth and yield of mung bean ( Phaseolus radiatus L. ) were carried out on a laboratory scale . The study is expected to evolve and ultimately provide complete information aboutthe technology of cultivation and appropriate commodity to be applied in land - mined land so that the land can be put to good use . Thus not only the economic benefits that will be obtained , but also environmental quality can be improved such as water management and land fertility .This study used a randomized complete block design with three levels of two factors treatments . The first factor is the AMF with a dose of 0 g / polybag , 10 g / polybag , and 20 g / polybag . The second factor is fertilizer P with a dose of 0 g / polybag , 5 g / polybag , and 10 g / polybag . Every treatment factorswererepeatedthree times.The results showedthatthere is an interaction between AMF treatment and P fertilizer on growth and yield components of green beans . Treatments that provide the most excellent effect on growth and yield are treated M2 ( 10 g AMF / hole ) and F2 ( 5 g SP - 36 / hole ) . Obtained an increase in yield of about 60 % when compared to the control treatment (without giving AMF and fertilizer P) .Keywords : AMF , Phosphorus , mung beans ( Phaseolus radiatus L.), growth, yield

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify woody plants, diversity of Presbytis comata habitat, the existence of Presbytis comata feed and physical state of the mount ring. Vegetation data collected by using transek method and analyzed by counting Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index. Observation areas and spatial data analysis done to see the physical condition of the Presbytis comata habitat. The vegetation found 67 plant species are woody and 31 types expressed as Presbytis comata feeds. Presbytis comata feed mostly consists of the moraceae family. Types of Presbytis comata habitat in the Subang area is lowland tropical rainforest type with an elevation of 625-1200 m above sea level. The slope of mountain in Subang areas very varies from flat, sloping, somewhat steep, to very steep.Keywords: Presbytis comata, habitat, woody plants diversity

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan obat yang terdapat di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Pakuan, dan untuk mengetahui potensi pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat di Kawasan Gunung Pakuan.Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi. Pemilihan responden awal menggunakanmetode purposive sampling, dilanjutkan dengan metode snowball sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis vegetasi yang ditemukan di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Pakuan dengan menggunakan 30 plot contoh ditemukan 48 jenis dari 34 famili, dan 32 jenis termasuk kedalam tumbuhan obat dari 27 famili.Dari 32 jenis tumbuhan obat yang ditemukan terdapat 18 jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat diantaranya adalah Antanan/pegagan, Babadotan, Calincing, Cariyang/nampu, Ciplukan, Daun sendok/ki urat, Hanjuang, Harendong, Jahe, Kapol/kapulag, Katuk, Kecubung, Koneng/kunyit, Mangandeuh, Pacing, Paku munding/pakis gajah, Sambang getih, dan Seureuh/sirih.Dalam penelitian ini diharapkan perlu adanya pengembangan dan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pemanfaatan jenis tumbuhan obat beserta penggunaannya yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Desa Gunungmanik, perlu adanya pembudidayaan tumbuhan obat, agar tumbuhan obat yang ada didalam Kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Pakuan tetap terjaga kelestariannya.Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman, Pemanfaatan dan Tumbuhan Obat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) interaksi antara pupuk P dan Cendawan Mikoriza Arbuskula (CMA) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau (Phaseolus radiatus L.) varietas Walet (2) dosis pupuk P dan CMA yang memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau (Phaseolus radiatus L.) varietas Walet (3) korelasi antara komponen pertumbuhan dengan hasil tanaman kacang hijau (Phaseolus radiatus L.) varietas Walet.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan percobaan berupa Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial. Penelitian terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu pupuk P dan CMA yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk P terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu : P1 (30 kg SP-36/ha), P2 (45 kg SP-36/ha), dan P3 (60 kg SP-36/ha). Faktor kedua yaitu CMA terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu : M1 (5 g/lubang), M2 (7,5 g/lubang), dan M3 (10 g/lubang).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) terdapat interaksi antara Pupuk P dan Cendawan Mikoriza Arbuskula terhadap parameter rata-rata tinggi tanaman umur 21 hari setelah tanam (HST), indeks luas daun umur 35 HST dan 42 HST, volume akar umur 35 HST dan 42 HST, laju pertumbuhan tanaman minggu ke-3, bobot kering per petak, bobot kering biji 100 butri dan indeks panen, (2) perlakuan pupuk P dengan dosis 45 kg SP-36/ha dan CMA dengan dosis 7,5 g/lubang menunjukkan pengaruh terbaik terhadap bobot biji kering per petak yang menghasilkan 760,57 g/petak atau setara dengan 1,14 ton/ha, (3) terdapat korelasi yang nyata antara komponen pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman umur 21 HST dan volume akar umur 35 HST dengan hasil bobot biji kering per petak.Kata kunci : kacang hijau, Cendawan Mikoriza Arbuskula (CMA), pupuk Fosfor, pertumbuhan, hasil

Abstract

Understorey is a sub-stratification community near the soil surface which has the function of being able to prevent soil erosion, keep water from entering the soil and resist surface runoff so that it plays a role in increasing soil organic matter. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of understorey plants and their benefits found on Mount Cakrabuana Petak 10A RPH Lemahsugih BKPH Talaga KPH Majalengka. The method used is a grid line measuring 1 m x 1 m with a total of 44 sample plots. All plant species included in the plot were counted and identified. There are 48 types of understorey plants from 33 families that have a high diversity index (3.27) and have benefits as understorey plants that have the potential as ornamental plants and medicinal plants. This information is very important especially for the management of protected areas bordering the community

Abstract

The Mount Tilu forest area has a high biodiversity of both flora and fauna. In line with the ever-increasing population growth, the need for food sources has also increased. Food needs can be fulfilled because of the potential utilization of existing natural resources. Many plant species that have nutrients and other elements that are important for human food needs need to be studied further. The purpose of this research is to find out the potential of food plants and their utilization by the people around Mount Tilu. The research method used to determine the condition of the vegetation is using the Line Transect and Sample Plot Methods. Meanwhile, information on plant utilization was carried out by interviewing the community around the area. In the Tilu Mountain area, there were 4 types of plant sources of food sources of carbohydrates, 10 types of fruit-producing sources, 2 types of fatty oil producers, 4 types of dye sources, and 21 types of medicinal plant sources. Utilization of food source plants around Mount Tilu is consumed directly for one's own needs. Information regarding the existence of these food-source plants is very important as material for study for area managers and surrounding communities in the future

Abstract

Ficus is the largest genus of the Moraceae family which is often found in Indonesia, both in the highland and in the lowlands. Kiara bunut (Ficus virens) is classified as one of the top ten Ficus species that attracts the most frugivorous species. The purpose of the study was to determine the diversity of bird and mammal species in kiara bunut (Ficus virens). The method used is the silent observer method (silent detection) which is counting the animals when the animals are not disturbed and the observation method where the observer approaches the animals are not quietly as possible (as silent as possible). There are 18 species of bird found in kiara bunut (Ficus virens) in the Mount Tilu forest, Kuningan Regency, consisting of frugivore, insectivore, nectarivore and grainivore and 2 species of mammals, namely surili (Prebytis comata) and squirrel (Callosciurus notatus) with an index diversity for bird species H’=2,355 is categorized as medium and mammals cpecies H’= 0,7 is catagorized as low. This information becomes important and can be use by forest managers to support biodiversity concervationFicus merupakan marga terbesar Famili Moraceae yang banyak dijumpai di Indonesia, baik di dataran tinggi maupun di dataran rendah. Kiara bunut (Ficus virens) digolongkan sebagai salah satu dari sepuluh spesies Ficus teratas yang menarik paling banyak spesies pemakan buah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman kumpulan jenis burung dan mamalia yang ada pada pohon kiara bunut (Ficus virens). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengamat diam (silent detection) adalah menghitung satwa ketika satwa tidak dalam keadaan terganggu dan metode pengamatan dimana pengamat mendekati satwa setenang mungkin (as silent as possible). Jenis burung dan mamalia yang ditemukan pada pohon kiara bunut (Ficus virens) di Hutan Gunung Tilu Kabupaten Kuningan sebanyak 18 jenis terdiri dari burung frugivora, insectivora, nectivora serta granivora dan 2 jenis mamalia yaitu surili (Presbytis comate dan tupai (Callosciurus notatus) dengan indeks keanekaragaman untuk jenis burung H’= 2.355 dikategorikan sedang dan jenis mamalia H’= 0.7 dikategorikan rendah. Informasi ini sangat penting yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pengelola kawasan untuk mendukung konservasi keanekaragaman hayati.
