Abstract

Big data's infrastructure is a technology that provides the ability to store, process, analyze, and visualize large data. The tools and applications used are one of the challenges when building big data's infrastructure. In the study, we offered a new strategy to optimize big data infrastructure design that was an essential part of big data processing by performing performance analysis applications used at each stage of big data processing. The process started from collecting data sourcing online news using web crawler methods using Scrapyand Apache Nutch. Next, implement Hadoop technologies to facilitate the distribution of big data storage and computing. No-sql databases Mongo DB and HBase made it easier to query data, after which they built search engines using Elasticsearch and Apache Solr. Data saved later in analysis using hive apache, pig, and spark. The data has been analyzed was shown on the website using Zeppelins, Metabolase, Kibana, and Tableau. The test scenario consisted of the number of servers and files used. Testing parameters started from process speed, memory usage, CPU usage, throughput, etc. The performance testing results of each application were compared to and analyzed to see the merits and defaults of the application as a reference to building optimal infrastructure design to meet the needs of the user. This research has produced two big data infrastructure design alternatives. The suggested infrastructure has been implemented on computer nodes in the big data pens for processing big data from online media and proving to be running well.

Abstract

Tempat ibadah merupakan sarana tempat yang penting bagi masyarakat dalam menjalankan kegiatan keagamaan di suatu daerah. Selain sebagai sarana tempat kegiatan keagamaan, juga sebagai tempat penyiaran agama dan tempat melakukan ibadah. Tempat ibadah yang sehat memiliki pengelola dan penyantun yang aktif dalam pengelolaannya, sehingga kondisi dari tempat ibadah tersebut selalu terpelihara. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak dijumpai tempat ibadah kecil seperti musholla, langgar yang terkadang tidak terawat dengan baik hal ini dikarenakan tidak didukung dengan pengelolaan yang baik sehingga susah dalam mendapatkan donatur untuk tempat ibadah tersebut. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang bisa membantu mengelola tempat ibadah secara merata dimana mitra pengelola tempat ibadah bisa mengajukan kebutuhan ke sistem, donatur bisa memilih dan melakukan donasi ke tempat ibadah yang membutuhkan, dengan admin sebagai perantara melalui sistem informasi pemeliharaan tempat ibadah dalam efektifitas penyaluran dana sumbangan. Sistem ini menampilkan mitra pengelola tempat ibadah yang sedang membutuhkan dana. Dengan sistem ini, mitra pengelola tempat ibadah yang sedang membutuhkan dana untuk tempat ibadahnya dapat menunjukkan kebutuhan yang diperlukan ke donatur yang bersedia, begitu juga dengan donatur yang bisa tahu dan melakukan donasi ke tempat ibadah yang sedang membutuhkan dana sehingga mitra pengelola tempat ibadah tidak bingung mencari dana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tempat ibadahnya. Dengan adanya sistem ini dapat menjalin hubungan antara mitra dan donatur dalam mengelola tempat ibadah sehingga pengelolaan tempat ibadah bisa merata.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the mechanism for exchanging bottle junk to get stickers that are less efficient and effective. The survey results from related parties explain that the existing mechanism is not efficient, paperless, lacks good integration between all parties involved, and is not yet in line with the development of the digital era. Therefore the author will make an application to solve the problem of the mechanism of riding the Suroboyo Bus. The application consists of three applications including mytrash, gettrash, and gotrash. The mytrash application is used by passengers to exchange the garbage to the Waste Bank and get a sticker on the Suroboyo Bus. The gettrash application is used by garbage banks to receive bottle trash from passengers and provide stickers to ride the Suroboyo Bus. The gotrash application is used by the Suroboyo Bus helper to make less balance from the stickers resulting from the exchange of junk waste by passengers. The trial subjects in this study were Dinas Kebersihan dan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota Surabaya, Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya, Suroboyo Bus Helper, Surabaya area Waste Bank, and Suroboyo Bus Passenger. These three applications will be integrated with each other to run a garbage transaction mechanism more efficiently in accordance with current technological advancements. The results of the study show that the three applications are made more effective to help the mechanism of trash transactions to get a sticker on the Suroboyo Bus ride.Keywords : android application, garbage transaction mechanism, google maps API, suroboyo busABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas mengenai mekanisme penukaran sampah botol untuk mendapatkan stiker naik Suroboyo Bus yang kurang efisien dan efektif. Hasil survey dari pihak terkait menjelaskan bahwa, mekanisme yang ada sekarang kurang efisien, paperless, kurang terintegrasi baik antara semua pihak yang terkait, dan belum sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman yang serba digital. Oleh karena itu penulis akan membuat aplikasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mekanisme naik Suroboyo Bus. Aplikasi yang dibuat terdiri dari tiga aplikasi diantaranya mytrash, gettrash, dan gotrash. Aplikasi mytrash digunakan penumpang untuk menukarkan sampahnya ke Bank Sampah dan mendapatkan sticker naik Suroboyo Bus. Aplikasi gettrash digunakan bank sampah untuk menerima sampah botol dari penumpang dan memberikan sticker naik Suroboyo Bus. Aplikasi gotrash digunakan oleh helper Suroboyo Bus untuk melakukan less balance dari stiker hasil penukaran sampah botol oleh penumpang. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah Dinas Kebersihan dan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota Surabaya, Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya, Helper Suroboyo Bus, Bank Sampah area Surabaya, dan Penumpang Suroboyo Bus. Tiga aplikasi ini akan saling terintegrasi satu sama lain untuk menjalankan mekanisme transaksi sampah lebih efisien sesuai dengan kemajuan teknologi saat ini. Pada hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga aplikasi yang dibuat lebih efektif untuk membantu mekanisme transaksi sampah untuk mendapatkan sticker naik Suroboyo Bus.Kata Kunci : android application, mekanisme transaksi sampah, google maps API, suroboyo bus

Abstract

Fiction books are one of the most popular types of books in Indonesia. There are five most popular genres in fiction books, namely fantasy, mystery, romance, sci-fi, and thriller. Each genre gives a different impression and special interest for readers. It has become a common habit when people choose a fiction book based on the title, author, or publisher of the book. However, it does not provide precise search results. In this final project, an application system was developed to find out fiction books based on semantic impressions on the cover of the fiction book. The impression on each book cover is obtained through a survey of fiction book lovers in Indonesia. To get the results of the closeness between the user search and the impression survey data obtained through text mining, as well as the cosine similarity algorithm to calculate the most precise proximity value to the impression the user expects. The results of this system display a fiction book that has a closeness value with an error rate of 3.93% based on the impression expected by the user.

Abstract

In the era of technological advances, tourists will first seek information about the tourist object to be addressed, even tourists often don't have a destination, so they have to search one by one via the internet. In determining travel plans, it is often to see one by one the review of tourist attractions and conclude the results will take a long time, while tourists need actual and fast information to determine the travel plans. In this study, the authors take a new approach, namely by creating a mobile-based travel planner system that compiles travel plans automatically by considering contextual information related to tourist location points, whether of tourist locations during travel days, travel opening and closing hours, so that it will increase travel efficiency without having to do the research manually which takes a long time. The system can also provide travel recommendations based on visitor comments sentiment on Google Places and is equipped with a trip route that will be generated automatically. This research is useful for helping tourists plan their trip actually because of the consideration of contextual information so that it will make it easier and save tourists time.

Abstract

As the main train service provider company in Indonesia, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) has many customers who need information. In order to maintain customer loyalty, PT KAI must respond quickly and be adaptive to technology to provide the best service to customers. Limited human resources make PT KAI unable to serve customers simultaneously, so customers often have to wait for a response. In order to provide the best service, automatic messages are needed in order to help customer service performance respond quickly and at the same time with no cost, access anytime and anywhere. This study proposes a new approach with chatbots as a medium for conveying automatic information quickly and simultaneously. This chatbot is made with a computational language that focuses on natural language modeling and cosine similarity as a method for calculating the proximity of inputs and databases. This research can help PT KAI's customer service workers to answer customer needs automatically.

Abstract

Sign language is one of the means of communication for people who are deaf and speech impaired, especially between normal people and people with disabilities in the wider community. But in reality, not everyone can understand the meaning and purpose of the sign language used so that there is a lack of knowledge of normal people about sign language in Indonesia and there is still a lack of effective and easy-to-understand digital learning media. In this study, we propose a new approach to create a sign language learning application for normal people using voice as input which can later display the results of visualization of sign language movements in the form of 3D animation. The display of 3D animation movements uses data that refers to the SIBI (Indonesian Language Sign System) curriculum. This Sign Language application was built by utilizing the Google Speech to Text API to process voice input, Java as the programming language used, and MySQL to manage the database. Based on system testing and on users (general public and persons with disabilities) using the SUS (System Usability Scale) method, it can be concluded that the sign language learning application with Android-based voice input is successful in facilitating the sign language learning process and in terms of usability or usability of the application getting an assessment that the application can be accepted by users and is suitable for use as a learning support media because its features can be understood well.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The final project monitoring activity takes place in the university area, where the final project is one of the requirements for students to receive graduation from the campus. At the Electronic Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya, there is already a website-based final project monitoring application. However, the application is still based on a website, access for supervisors requires a VPN, and there are no reminders for students, supervisors, and examiners which will have a fatal impact on students if the final project monitoring process is not carried out properly. Due to some of these problems, this final report research aims to create an android-based final project monitoring application. This application will assist users in monitoring the final project because access via mobile phones will be easier and no longer need to use a VPN. The application is also equipped with a reminder feature so that users do not forget during the process of monitoring the final project. Abstract

Cat is one of a popular animals in the world. Number of cat breeds in the world only about 1%, so most are dominated by cats mixed or domestic cat. Nevertheless, there are so many different types of cat breeds in the world, that it is sometimes difficult to identify them. Therefore, we need a system that can recognize the types of cat breeds. One technique of deep learning that may apprehend and hit upon gadgets in a photograph is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). CNN functionality is alleged because the nice technique in phrases of item detection and item recognition. The author used 9 different types of cat breeds containing 2700 images. The EfficientNet-B0 architecture is used on the system. The most optimal model has earned the accuracy of 95%. Abstract

Salah satu kegiatan yang paling sering dilakukan pada saat liburan adalah pergi berwisata, baik pergi di dalam kota maupun luar kota. Dalam melakukan wisata, wajib bagi kita membuat penyusunan itinerary (rencana perjalanan). Penyusunan itinerary biasanya dibuat secara manual, satu per satu, mulai dari menentukan tempat wisata, hingga kendaraan yang akan dinaiki seringkali kurang efektif. Penelitian proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk membuat penyusuan itinerary/rencana perjalanan tempat wisata jawa timur secara otomatis. Memberikan pilihan kendaraan ingin dinaiki, sesuai dengan rute terdekat dan efisien. Memberikan kemudahan kepada wisatawan dalam melakukan kegiatan berwisata, melalui penjadwalan yang dibuat. Pada proyek akhir ini menggunakan Google Maps untuk mengakses rute yang dilalui dan pembuatan estimasi waktu perjalanan, sehingga lebih realtime dan spesifik. Penentuan wisata yang akan dilalui terlebih dahulu dengan menggunakan algoritma Distance route - Nearest Neighbour dan Eucludean distance Nearest Neighbour , kedua algoritma ini akan dibandingkan mana yang lebih baik. Hasil yang didapat kedua algoritma mencapai tingkat akurasi yang tinggi untuk mendapatkan rute yang optimal. Kedua Algoritma ini juga cocok digunakan untuk menentukan jarak terdekat yang akan dilalui dalam berwisata, dengan masing-masing kelebihan dan kekurangannya.
