Abstract

This research aims to know the meaning and moral contained in the poetry of Haji Syukur. He conveyed his preaching through poetry that according to Haji Syukur, the people of Jambi easily understand him through Seloko or Pantun. The poems spoken by Haji Syukur are also often used by people in the area of Jambi who in the activities of community deliberations, in giving advice, can also be used in the sleep of children, and storytelling. The poems spoken by Haji Syukur contain the story of Islamic religious teachings.Further research on the activity of analyzing the works of the teacher H. Syukur specifically the poems of his work.In this study we use content analysis techniques to process the data that has been collected. With this technique researchers will be able to easily find out the contents, meaning of poetry, and moral values that are embedded in poetry. So that researchers at the end of the paper can easily conclude the results of the desired research.The words of Haji Syukur or the often-called Guru Syukur in the form of aspects are also not too difficult to understand, the lyrics are practical and often also used by society in their daily lives, and Seloko or Pantun is also a Community needs in certain events and when people relax in a community gathering. In the Haji Syukur poem’s can also distinguish the nature of the character of Islam with the people of the calamites, the good and the wicked, the praises and the Unblemish. In the verses of gratitude teachers speak between two opposite things, Haji Syukur also gives the difference two things aloud, so that the community easier to capture what the meaning conveyed through the poem and the the lyrics are easier for the community to hear.

Abstract

Teacher Competency Test is a test of mastery of professional and pedagogic competencies in the cognitive domain as a basis for establishing continuous professional development activities and part of teacher assessment. The test is a source and as a material for mapping the competencies that a teacher has regarding professional and pedagogical competence in an area. The low competence of the pedagogical field shows that teachers are not professional. Therefore the teacher will find it difficult to be able to provide a good pursuit of students. One way to improve the competence of teachers in pedagogic fields is by increasing teacher understanding and knowledge of local wisdom in learning. The essence of local and national cultural values in the education curriculum is now a bustling thing to be talked about by the people of Indonesia. Social ethnoconstructivism is able to be a solution amid the current developments and cultural shifts. This study wants to see how high the impact of ethnoconstuctivistic knowledge on teacher pedagogical competencies. In addition, age and gender are also separate discussions to see their influence on pedagogical competence. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Samples in this study were elementary school teachers in three districts/cities in Jambi Province. The results show that teachers' ethnoconstructivism knowledge has an influence on the teacher's pedagogical competence. The age of a teacher also has an impact on pedagogical competence, but gender does not affect the teacher's pedagogical competency.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of Islamic religion teachers in instilling religious values in elementary schools.  Data collecting is done by making direct observations of intensive learning activities and learning outside which are considered to prioritize attitude or religious.  The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach.  This type of research is a phenomenological research. This research examines a phenomenon that exists in SD Negeri 182/1 Lindung Hutan.  The result of this research shows that the role of Islamic religious education  teachers is very important in instilling religious values in schools. The teacher is a model in the process of instilling religious value for the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to review and explain the role of school literation in shaping the character of the learner especially in class II in elementary school. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenological research. The findings obtained in the field were obstacles in the application of this literacy movement, namely that the student focus was easily lost, so they were playing around and it disturbed their friends who wanted to focus on reading. The results of this study shows that the existence of 15 minutes of reading before the lesson begins, the existence of a varied collection of books, reading activities carried out every day and literacy activities at school can foster student’s enthusiasm for reading which is decreasing day by day due to the influence of gadget and the environment of students who do not care about the importance of reading. The conclusion of this research can be concluded that: 1) The application of the literacy culture in school at SDN 111/I Muara Bulian is categorized as quite good, 2) the application of a school literacy culture, it can form the character of students by respecting people who speak, respecting each other and older people

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan peranan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanamkan nilai karakter religius dan nasionalisme siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa SD Negeri 111/1 Muara Bulian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non tes seperti rekaman, catatan, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, meringkas data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanamkan nilai karakter religius dan nasionalisme di sekolah dasar adalah menerapkan karakter dengan membiasakan siswa mengucap salam, berdoa, membaca surah yasin, menjalankan ibadah, selalu bersyukur, tidak menyontek ketika ujian atau ulangan, mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu, bersikap tiga S (senyum, sapa, dan salam) menerapkan karakter sikap toleransi, tanggung jawab, kerja keras, sopan santun, sikap gotong royong, dan peduli sosial, serta kedisiplinan.AbstractThe purpose of this research was to illustrate the role of Islamic learning in instilling the values of religious and nationalist characters of elementary students. The method used was descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this study were the teachers and the students of SD Negeri 111/1 Muara Bulian. The instruments used were observation sheet, interview, and documentation. Data collection procedure used was nontest technique such as recording, note, and observation. Data analysis technique used was qualitative approach which consisted of collecting, summarizing, presenting, and concluding the data. The results showed that Islamic education learnings in instilling the values of religious and nationalist characters in elementary school were to apply habits in saying hello, praying, reading surah yasin, worshipping, be grateful, no cheating in doing examination or test, collecting assignments on time, behaving in three S (smile, greet and regard) and to apply the character of tolerance, responsibility, hard work, courtesy, mutual cooperation, social care and discipline

Abstract

Tolerance is an attitude of mutual respect for diversity. In the school environment, students are faced with various differences, so that tolerance is an important attitude that must be owned by students, this is inseparable from the teacher's strategy in instilling tolerance in the classroom. a form of religious tolerance that is implementing mutual respect and respect for the beliefs held by others. This means that differences found in the surrounding environment are not used as an excuse to be hostile to others but are able to live side by side among these differences. The aim is to find out the teacher's strategy in instilling tolerance in students in responding to differences in beliefs by using a qualitative descriptive approach and this type of research is a phenomenological study. Data collection is done by observation and interview techniques to meet research needs. Then analyzed with data reduction techniques, data display and data verification. Diversity of religions that cannot contradict can create different groups. A happy attitude in supporting the diversity that is executed can help well because it has a supporting role. The strategies taken by teachers in schools that have students of different religions will succeed without visible conflicts that are motivated by diversity. The role of the teacher is very important in instilling religious borrowing attitudes both through role models and through activities held at school. The researcher hopes that this journal can add insight to the readers and the researcher suggests that the handling of students' tolerance in facing differences in belief not only come from the teacher or the school but also includes tri education centers (family, community, and school) because of tolerance This is very important for every individual to have at the earliest possible age.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to learn about the organizational culture and job satisfaction at the khalafiyah Islamic boarding school, as well as to discover whether organizational culture can provide job satisfaction for the teachers at the khalafiyah Islamic boarding school in Batanghari Regency. A qualitative research methodology was applied in this study. Three Islamic Boarding Schools in Batanghari Regency served as research subjects. Documents, records, archives, or printed news are examples of data sources. Passive participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies were employed as data gathering methods. Based on the study's findings, it is possible to conclude that the cultures that exist at the three Islamic boarding schools have distinct characteristics and have evolved into a culture that is formed, believed, guided, and acted upon. Based on the study's findings, it can be concluded that the cultures that exist in the three Islamic boarding schools have distinct characteristics and become a culture that is created, believed, guided, and actualized as rules that must be obeyed in order to limit behavior (self-control) and make it a tradition and personality.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter dimaknai sebagai pendidikan nilai, budi pekerti, pendidikan moral, pendidikan watak, yang tujuannya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik untuk memberikan keputusan baik, buruknya dan mewujudkan kebaikan dalam kehidupan sehari- hari dengan sepenuh hati dan mewujudkan cita- cita luhur. Salah satu sikap yang menujukkan pribadi yang memiliki karakter yang baik ialah sikap jujur. Sikap jujur perlu ditanamkan oleh orangtua dan pendidik kepada anak sedini mungkin. Mengingat pentingnya sikap jujur di era modern ini, peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti bagaimana implementasi nilai kejujuran akademik peserta didik di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai kejujuran akademik peserta didik di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar saat situasi ujian serta motif yang mendasarinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif fenomenologis dengan metode studi pustaka dan observasi serta wawancara yang didapat dari informan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis inovasi guru dalam pembelajaran di era pandemi covid-19 . Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar  Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa deskripsi tentang inovasi guru dalam pembelajaran di era pandemi covid-19 yang diperoleh melalui metode wawancara dan observasi sebagai data utama serta dokumentasi sebagai data penunjang. Subjek penelitian adalah  kepala sekolah dan   guru kelas tinggi yang berjumlah 10 orang. Data di kumpulkan dan di analisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa guru melakukan beberapa inovasi dalam pembelajaran yaitu merancang pembelajaran dengan membuat skenario  pembelajaran, menyiapkan bahan ajar  dan media yang akan digunakan baik secara online maupun offline.     Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara blended learning yaitu dengan membuat sintaks model blended learning (seeeking of information, acquisition of information dan synthesizing of knowledge). Guru juga menerapkan home visit dengan belajar bersama orang tua dan membentuk tutorial sebaya siswa dan orang tua.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by teachers in improving literacy comprehension in grade IV F students of SD Negeri 47 / IV Jambi City. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the fourth grade F. homeroom teacher. The data in this study were obtained through observations during the learning process, the interview with the homeroom teacher IV F, as well as documentation of learning activities, lesson plans, and reading texts in student books. After the data is collected, the data is checked using triangulation techniques and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models with the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of this study indicate that the strategies implemented by teachers in improving literacy comprehension in grade IV F students of SD Negeri 47 / IV Jambi City, are ReQAR strategies, with the steps used by teachers in learning as follows: 1) teachers begin by conditioning students first before learning begins; 2) the teacher asks students to silently read the reading text; 3) the teacher asks questions to students; 4) the teacher asks students to ask questions; 5) teachers and students do question and answer about the reading text. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi yang diimplementasikan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman literal pada peserta didik kelas IV F SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru wali kelas IV F. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil observasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, wawancara terhadap guru wali kelas IV F, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran, RPP, dan teks bacaan pada buku siswa. Setelah data terkumpul, data dicek menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan mengambil kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diimplementasikan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman literal pada peserta didik kelas IV F SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi, adalah strategi ReQAR, dengan dengan langkah yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran sebagai berikut: 1) guru mengawali dengan mengkondisikan peserta didik terlebih dahulu sebelum pembelajaran dimulai; 2) guru meminta peserta didik untuk membaca dalam hati teks bacaan tersebut; 3) guru mengajukan pertanyaan kepada peserta didik; 4) guru meminta peserta didik bertanya; 5) guru dan peserta didik melakukan tanya jawab mengenai teks bacaan. Kata kunci: strategi guru, membaca pemahaman literal
