Abstract

The analysis of radicalism attitudes among students is triggered by the lack of supervision of information and communication technology usage. This study aims to find the attitude of radicalism among senior high school students based on gender. The research is designed with a quantitative approach. The data were collected using a questionnaire. This study involved 229 students selected by random sampling, with a total of 107 male and 122 female students. The data were collected using a questionnaire and essay. The data were further analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this study showed that in Part A, 34% male and 19% female students often sent and shared religious content and conflicts on social media. In Part B, 13% male and 14% female students agreed on courtship, marriages with different religion, polygamy, and divorce. In Part C, 2% male and female students are anti-ideological and uphold Islamic law. Furthermore, in Part D, 67% male and 46% female students declare non-Muslims as infidel, and war is a part of jihad.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop non-test instrument or questionnaire to measure the evaluation of the use of Webtoon among the students of Open University in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia and to obtain the instrument’s validity and reliability. This research employed the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) instructional model. The data were collected using online questionnaire. There were 55 respondents participated in this research. The data collected were analyzed descriptively using SPSS program version 23.00 for windows. The result of the data analysis indicated that the instrument has the percentage of agreement result of 82.75% (valid) and Cronbach alpha with score 0.942 (reliable). The data proved that the instrument has very feasible. This result showed that this research and development produced Webtoon non-test instrument which is valid and reliable.

Abstract

Student inability to multi-representation in science learning in junior high school and teacher ability to provide teaching materials according to the characteristics of students who have difficulty in multi-representation causes the learning process cannot achieve the desired results. It affects the low learning outcomes and students' cognitive abilities. Therefore, this study aims to determine the types of multi-representation-based teaching materials in science learning in junior high schools and the effectiveness of using multi-representation-based teaching materials used in science learning in junior high schools. The method used is systematic literature review using PRISMA diagrams. The database used to search for literature uses two digital libraries, namely Google Scholar and Garuda. For the selected literature to be relevant, it uses the keyword teaching materials and multi-representation. The next step is to get scientific articles published from 2016 to 2021 which discuss the use of multi-representation-based teaching materials in science learning in junior high schools. The results of the scientific article search contained eight articles that would be analyzed and synthesized. The analytical technique used is the narrative method by grouping the extracted data. The results show the types of multi-representation-based teaching materials in science learning are printing and non-printing teaching materials. Printed teaching materials are modules, books, and worksheets, while non-printed teaching materials are in the form of web simulations. The use of multi-representation-based teaching materials has proven to be effective in the science learning process in junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strengthening of the 21st Century Skills of UPBJJ Pekanbaru and Pangkal Pinang students in dealing with the ASEAN economic community (MEA). The 21st Century Skills strengthening study was motivated by the low competition in economic politics in Indonesia. The study involved 379 students selected based on study programs at the Pekanbaru Open University and Pangkal Pinang. Data in the form of opinions and statements were collected using a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire and essay. Data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that UPBJJ Pekanbaru and Pangkal Pinang students were qualitatively ready to perform 21st-century skills, including digital era literacy, inventive thinking, memorable communication, high productivity, and spiritual norms and values. Based on quantitative data, there is no significant difference in strengthening the 21st Century Skills of UPBJJ Pekanbaru and Pangkal Pinang students.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa tadris IPA mengenai konsep perkembangan janin dalam perspektif Islam dan sains. Jenis penelitian menggunakan design survey. Penelitian dilakukan di prodi tadris IPA dengan mengambil sampel secara acak sehingga didapat 30 orang mahasiswa yang telah mempelajari konsep IPA dalam perspektif Islam dan sains. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket yang sudah divalidasi terdiri dari 15 pernyataan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa tadris IPA tentang konsep perkembangan janin dalam perspektif Islam dan sains termasuk kategori tinggi.Abstract:This study aims to determine the understanding of Tadris IPA students about the concept of fetal development in Islamic and scientific perspectives. This type of research uses survey design. The study was conducted at the Natural Sciences Tadris Study Program by taking a random sample so that 30 students were obtained who had studied the science concept in Islamic and scientific perspectives. The research data collection instrument used a validated questionnaire consisting of 15 statements. The results of the analysis showed that Tadris IPA's students' understanding of the concept of fetal development in Islamic and scientific perspectives was high.

Abstract

Di sekolah, Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah adalah salah satu kunci dalam pengelolaan sekolah yang berfungsi untuk bertanggung jawab menghadapi perubahan. Untuk itu peran kepala sekolah sangat penting dalam menentukan kemajuan suatu sekolah. Dalam menghadapi Era Revolusi industry ini, menjadikan pentingnya Informasi Teknologi (IT) bagi perkembangan sekolah. Untuk itu, sekolah ingin melakukan ReBranding  sekolah untuk menjadi sekolah berbasis IT dengan mengembangkan program Reward (Reading, Writing and Art Development) berupa pelatihan design Grafis. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Mixmethod dengan menggunakan Trianggulasi Data. Dari hasil penelitian yang dijalankan diketahui bahwa para siswa sangat termotivasi  cukup tinggi dengan rata-rata skor berkisar 82,26 dari rentang skor 61-87. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang diisi oleh siswa, program pelatihan desain grafis dirasa sangat bermanfaat, baik dalam penambahan ilmu pengetahuan tentang seni desain maupun ilmu pengetahuan tentang teknologi. Hal ini juga dikuatkan dengan hasil dari Aspek guru menyatakan bahwa  program seperti ini sangat bagus dan untuk status program ada yang menjawab sangat memuaskan dan memuaskan. Implikasi dari Riset ini adalah untuk dapat memberikan gambaran bagaimana mengembangkan salah satu lembaga pendidikan setingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama untuk lebih maju dan menjawab tantangan Revolusi Industri. Diharapkan stakeholder dan para pemangku kepentingan dinas pendidikan menjadikan dan membantu sekolah ini menjadi sekolah modal dan memberikan apresiasi yang positif dengan adanya program–program seperti ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penyelenggaran pendidikan dasar masih sangat memprihatinkan, dimana guru masih banyak menggunakan metode-metode lama dalam mengajar dikelas sehingga kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yang rendah Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode pembelajaran Peer Teaching sebagai solusi dalam pembelajaran matamatika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian lapangan yaitu dengan wawancara dan penelitian kepustakaan yang diperoleh dari buku atau jurnal-jurnal yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan utama. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dengan wali kelas V dan VI dan melihat arsip nilai ulangan semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan kajian-kajian literatur yang penulis lakukan diperoleh informasi bahwa sudah banyak peneliti yang menerapkan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya (peer teaching) diberbagai tingkatan pendidikan mulai dari tingkat SD/MI, SMP/MTs dan SMA/SMK dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of media the influence of the science learning media on a scientific approach to scientific literacy skills and self-efficacy of students on human respirator material. This study uses an experimental method, the sample consists of 2 classes, cognitive learning achievement data using tests, affective aspects of learning achievement using a questionnaire, hypothesis testing using the right-hand t-test. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that students who were taught using science learning media on a scientific approach had a good effect on scientific literacy and self efficacy better than students who were taught the lecture method. Students with high scientific literacy ability produce better average performance than students with low scientific literacy ability, and there is an increase in the self efficacy of students learning by using learning media

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan media belajar untuk meningkatkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap bahaya asap rokok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan angket yang dibagikan kepada 25 responden siswa kelas V SDN 020 Sekijang Tapung Hilir. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan penggunaan media memberikan banyak manfaat terhadap pemahaman siswa mengenai bahayanya asap rokok. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa responden secara umum menjawab iya atau setuju akan pernyataan yang diberikan. Penggunaan media mampu meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik untuk belajar dan memberikan kesadaran yang tinggi kepada siswa tentang bahayanya asap rokok

Abstract

This study uses an experimental method, the sample consists of 2 classes, cognitive learning achievement data using tests, affective aspects of learning achievement using a questionnaire, hypothesis testing using the right-hand t-test. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that students who were taught using science learning media on discovery learning models gave a good influence on students' interest and learning achievement better than students who were taught the lecture method. Students with high learning interest produce better average achievement than students with low learning interest, and there is an increase in student learning achievement using learning media
