Abstract

Abstract:Qualitative research is a research method studying subjective meaning of participants world about an object researched. Steps of qualitative research in psychology are: researchers select research topic, researchers formulate research questions, researchers design the study, researchers collect data, researchers analyses data, researchers generate findings, researchers validate findings, and researchers write research report. Some of the qualitative research designs are grounded research, phenomenology research, case study research, and ethnography research. In some situations, researchers often meet questions that reach beyond the prescription of the APA ethical guidelines concerning human participants. Researchers of qualitative research in psychology can generalize their research findings to other people, times, or treatments to the degree to which they are similar to other people, times, or treatments in the original research (naturalistic generalization). There are some strategies for expanding qualitative research as a research approach so the methodology can be accepted as one significant method in understanding psychological phenomena.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kesehatan mental adalah suatu keadaan psikologis yang menunjukkan kemampuan seseorang untuk mengadakan penyesuaian diri terhadap masalah-masalah yang dihadapi. Pendidik memiliki tugas untuk mengembangkan kesehatan mental pada seluruh komponen sekolah, seperti diri peserta didik, rekan kerja, maupun dirinya sendiri. Kesehatan Kecerdasan emosi dapat membantu keseimbangan kesehatan mental seseorang dalam menghadapi masalah-masalah hidup dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Terdapat berbagai strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam upaya mengembangkan kesehatan mental.Kata kunci: kesehatan mental, lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims at describing students’ well-being assessment at two private secondary schools in Sleman regency, Yogyakarta Special Province, Indonesia. The subjects of the research were 42 secondary school students in the area. This is an evaluative research by means of quantitative approach. The data collecting technique employed a focus group discussion (FGD) while the instrument used an FGD guide book based on a School Well-being Model (Konu and Rimpela, 2002). The data were analyzed quantitatively by means of thematic analysis. The research finding showed that the students’ school well-being was psychologically high at dimension of health status, but low at dimension of having, loving, and being. Another important finding is that there was a tendency of verbal, physical, as well as sexual bullying done by their classmates and teachers personally. Key words: well-being, psychological well being, school, and student

Abstract

Abstract: Aggression behavior is still a problem in our educational setting. School aggression involves all of the behaviors intended to harm or injure the aggression objects in the school environment. The aggression can influence teaching and learning process in the school environment. There are some social psychological theories of aggression, i.e. instinct theory, frustration aggression hypothesis theory, social learning theory. Some strategies that can prevent and reduce aggression behavior in the school are: identification of community risk factors, development prevention and intervention regulation, identification aggression potency among school’s member, punishment, catharsis and sublimation, non aggression model, and development of social skills training program.

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to discover the impact of self-adjustment on student academic achievement. The method that used in this study is a correlational study with random sampling. The subject of the research is Timorese student is studying in Indonesia, there are 180 samples. The data collection has used a scale of Likert. The date is analyzed with simple correlation. The result showed there is 46.1% of significant and positive correlation of self-adjustment on student academic achievement. It means if self-adjustment being conducted well, student academic achievement will increase.

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this classroom action research were to describe: (1) the application of learning cooperative find someone who and flashcard game type to increase learning motivation social studies in students’ fifth grade; and (2) response of fifth grade students SDN Klanderan to the application find someone who and flashcard game. The subjects of this study is the fifth grade students totaling 32 students. This study was conducted in one cycle. Data collection instruments in this study used observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniq used qualitative descriptive. Conclusion the results of this study were: (1) learning motivation social studies in fifth grade students SDN Klanderan improved with the achievement of the aspect of hope of success, persistence of effort in learning, as well as the ability to face and overcome the failures of learning; and (2) students of the fifth grade SDN Klanderan responded with pleasure, passion thinking, and agrees. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe find someone who dan flashcard game untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPS siswa kelas V; (2) respons siswa kelas V SDN Klanderan terhadap penerapan find someone who dan flashcard game. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam satu siklus. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data hasil penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) motivasi belajar IPS siswa Kelas V SDN Klanderan meningkat ditandai dengan tercapainya aspek harapan keberhasilan, ketekunan usaha dalam belajar, serta kesanggupan menghadapi dan mengatasi kegagalan belajar; dan (2) siswa kelas V SDN Klanderan merespons dengan senang, semangat berpikir, dan setuju.

Abstract

Pemahaman sebagian besar guru SD dan MI di Jawa Timur dalam mengimplementasikan berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang berorientasi siswa masih kurang memadai. Berpijak pada urgensi pembelajaran PKn (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan) melalui berbagai model  pembelajaran kooperatif maka diperlukan buku panduan guru dalam pembelajaran PKn SD/MI melalui berbagai model cooperative learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model-model cooperative perlu diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PKn di SD / MI. Hasil penelitian juga menghasilkan buku panduan guru untuk pembelajaran PKn SD/MI melalui berbagai model cooperative learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu tujuan penting dari keberadaan perumahan hunian berimbang adalah untuk mengembangkan manusia, keluarga, dan komunitas yang sehat dan berkelanjutan.   Dari aspek psikologi, pengembangan manusia, keluarga, dan komunitas yang sehat dan berkelanjutan perlu menyasar pada tujuan kesejahteraan kognitif, afektif, dan psiko-motorik.Pembangunan perumahan berimbang untuk pengembangan individu, keluarga, dan komunitas yang sehat dan berkelanjutan berdasar perspektif psikologi sosial adalah mengacu pada perspektif psikologi lingkungan, perspektif psikologi komunitas, dan perspektif psikologi kebutuhan dasar manusia.Kata-kata kunci: kebijakan  pembangunan perumahan berimbang, pengembangan individu,keluarga, dan komunitas yang sehat dan berkelanjutan, perspektif psikologi sosial.
