Abstract

This study aims to describe the Management of Education Quality Improvement at the Islamic Junior High School Terpadu Daar Al Uluum Asahan. This research uses a qualitative research type, with a phenomenological approach. The research data collection is obtained by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. To check the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Steps to analyze data using data analysis model Milles and Hubberman, namely reducing data, presenting data and then concluding. The results of the research are (1) Planning for improving the quality of education is carried out through meetings involving school principals, assistant principals 1 and 2, along with teachers. (2) The organization of improving the quality of education is carried out by establishing a school organizational structure and making clear job details or division of labor, then carrying out clear and directed work coordination and monitoring. (3) The implementation of improving the quality of education is carried out after the planning and organizing process. Principals, assistant principals, administrative staff and teachers have realized and implemented various planned programs, in order to achieve good, superior and quality education. (4) Supervision of improving the quality of education is carried out as an effort to observe, examine and monitor the quality of education so that efforts to improve the quality of education are being carried out in accordance with the predetermined plan, in order to achieve good, superior and quality education.Keyword: Management, Improvement, Quality of Education

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) merupakan materi ajar wajib setiap jenjang pendidikan bagi peserta didik maupun mahasiswa. Kendati dikenal sebagai materi klasik dan pelajaran tertua, PAI akan tetap menarik bila dikelola dengan konsep manajemen yang baik, seperti yang dipadukan oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam terpadu, termasuk Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Bunayya Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa manajemen (perencanaan, pengorganisasian, intruksi pengarahan, dan evaluasi) pembelajaran PAI dan pengembangannya di lingkungan SDIT Bunayya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) manajemen pembelajaran PAI di SDIT Bunayya terlaksana dengan baik, hal ini ditandai dengan keterpaduan pembelajaran mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, intruksi pengarahan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi dan (2) pengembangan manajemen pembelajaran PAI ditandai dengan salat berjamaah di sekolah, pembinaan cara berwudu, pembinaan akhlak peserta didik, dan pembiasaan interaksi peserta didik dengan Al-Qur’an.AbstractIslamic education learning (PAI) is a “mandatory” teaching material for every level of education. Although known as “classic” and “oldest learning” material, PAI will be interesting if it is managed with a good management concept such as the integration held by Islamic educational institutions, including the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Bunayya, Central Tapanuli Regency. This article aims to analyze the management, (planning, organizing, instruction actuating, and evaluation) of PAI learning and its development in SDIT Bunayya. This study used a qualitative approach through observation, interview, and document studies. The results of this study indicated that (1) the management of PAI learning at SDIT Bunayya was well implemented which was indicated by the learning integration starting from planning, organizing, instructional learning, and evaluation; and (2) the development of PAI learning management was indicated by praying together at school, coaching ablution, building moral character, and getting familiar with Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial planning of Islamic education at Fatoni University Thailand. Then describe the financial organization of Islamic education at Fatoni University Thailand. Then to describe the implementation of Islamic education financial resources at Fatoni University Thailand. Then to describe the supervision of the Islamic education financial program at Fatoni University Thailand. Lastly, to describe the evaluation of the use of Islamic education finance at Fatoni University Thailand. This research is qualitative. The process of extracting data holistically, either by means of in-depth interviews with a series of questions, observations in the form of observations, and collection of documents with the aim of obtaining correct and valid data related to the research theme. There are 5 (five) findings that became the results of this study, namely: Financial planning for Islamic education at Fatoni University Thailand in the construction of lecture buildings maximizes assistance from IDB waqf costs. Financial Organization of Islamic Education at Fatoni University Thailand through the structure. The implementation of Islamic education financial resources at Fatoni University Thailand is by utilizing waqf funds. The supervision of the Islamic education financial program at Fatoni University Thailand is carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Evaluation. Financial evaluation of Islamic education at Fatoni University Thailand that monthly financial reports are made.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the implementation of the curriculum in improving the quality of graduates, (2) the strategy of teacher development in implementing the curriculum in improving the quality of graduates, and (3) the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of the curriculum in improving the quality of graduates. This research was conducted in MIN in Sibolga City using a qualitative research method with a descriptive study approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman technique, which included data collection, data reduction, and data conclusions. The results of the study indicate that implementation is realized through the management cycle, namely planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. The focus of the cycle is on improving the quality of graduates. Then to achieve this, teacher training is carried out through workshops, which practically there is no difference in MIN-se in Sibolga City. The coaching is divided into two, namely central coaching, namely from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion, and independent coaching, which is carried out at the discretion of the madrasa head by inviting experts. Supporting factors are the appropriate qualifications and competencies of teachers, as well as the teacher's motivation to make the program a success. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are that the facilities and infrastructure have not been maximally, and the real conditions in the field are often at odds with the ideal conditions expected by the government.

Abstract

Performance, the true results of the planning and process. Likewise, performance management is important to be carried out at educational institutions, especially the basic education units at the MI/SD level. This paper aims to examine empirically the management of teacher performance in MIN 2 Padangsidimpuan. The focus of the study includes planning, implementing programs, and evaluating teacher performance in MIN 2 Padangsidimpuan. This research uses a naturalistic approach. The collection technique is done by interview, observation, and document review. Next, the data are analyzed through data reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is guaranteed by source triangulation techniques and methods. The results of this study indicate that (1) teacher performance planning by conducting teacher performance planning meetings conducted before the new school year begins so that it does not interfere with learning activities. In this activity the division of tasks is carried out according to the teaching decree and the teachers prepare learning tools, especially the lesson plan (RPP), including the media, learning material resources, and evaluation instruments. (2) the implementation of the teacher’s performance program has been running according to the division of tasks and procedures for implementing learning as stipulated in the Decree and roster, as well as conducting a faceprint in accordance with administrative provisions in the madrasa as determined by the Ministry of Religion. (3) evaluation of teacher performance is done through an assessment of lesson plans and learning tools, a list of teaching attendance from the teacher’s faceprint, reporting of learning activities, and reports of student learning outcomes that are in the report card and teacher’s notes.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze organizational communication in improving teacher performance at MTs Al-Maidar Pandan. This study used a qualitative approach with field research methods through in-depth interviews and participant observation. The results showed that: First, the principal communicated with the teacher verbally (in the form of meetings, briefings and face to face); and non-verbal (in the form of observations of teacher expressions, gestures and digital communication via smartphones). Second, the principal displays exemplary behavior, skills development and teacher professionalism, as well as a high salary. Third, the head of madrasah held consultations for teachers who are members of MGPM, trained in the use of laptops, and coordinated among teachers as well as education personnel at MTs Al-Maidar Pandan.
