Abstract

This study is aimed to develop e-learning media with self-assessment methods to improve mathematics learning outcomes of college students. The model used in the development of e-learning was the ADDIE model. The sample of this study was 39 college students of the Industrial Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering, Mahendradatta University. The data analyzed in this study were student’s mathematics learning outcomes obtained from the posttest scores after using e-learning with self assessment method. To determine the effectiveness of the implementation of e-learning, experimenation with one group pretest and posttest design was conducted. Data of learning outcomes obtained were analyzed by using the Paired T-Test. Based on the results of expert validation and product trials, e-learning was feasible to be implemented. Based on the results of the Paired T-Test, a significant value of less than 0.05 was obtained, so based on the hypothesis that there was a difference between the learning outcomes before and after e-learning  was implemented. This was also supported by an increase in the average value of student mathematics learning outcomes, from the initial pretest score of 75,92 to 82,10. Student response value was 69,0 which indicated that the response to e-learning was positive. The increase in learning outcomes was due to e-learning learning with self-assessment methods which provided opportunities for students to increase their confidence in their mathematical skills.

Abstract

ABSTRAKHunian sementara merupakan fasilitas yang penting disediakan pemerintah sebagai salah satu langkah mitigasi bencana, mengingat kondisi Indonesia yang rawan bencana alam. Dalam upaya penyediaan hunian sementara tidaklah sebatas unit hunian yang bisa disediakan dengan cepat, efisien dan efektif saja. Hunian yang disediakan haruslah bisa memberikan kenyamanan dan dapat mengurangi efek psikis masyarakat yang terdampak serta sesuai dengan karakteristik hunian sementara berdasarakan prinsip keberlanjutan. Berkaitan dengan itu, material kontainer dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk unit hunian sementara. Menanggapi hal tersebut khususnya di wilayah Bali, penerapan konsep mandala dalam bangunan kontainer menjadi dasar dalam tata atur ruang mengacu pada rumah-rumah tinggal masyarakat Bali. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literature dengan menggali data dan informasi yang terkait dengan topik kajian. Selanjutnya data-data yang diperoleh disusun dan dianalisis untuk kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan kajian disebutkan bahwa sangat penting memasukkan konsep mandala sebagai salah satu ulokal genius dalam pengaturan pola ruang unit hunian sementara karena akan berdampak pada tingkat kenyamanan penghuni. Konsep mandala tersebut diaplikasikan dalam pembagian 3 zonasi ruang yaitu utama, madya, nista. Ketiga zonasi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas dan civitas dalam unit hunian. Bagian hulu (utama) merupakan ruang private berfungsi sebagai ruang tidur. Zona madya (tengah) dipergunakan sebagai ruang serbaguna dan menjadi tempat persembahyangan. Dan pada teben (nista) merupakan ruang service yang dipergunakan sebagai dapur dan kamar mandi.Kata Kunci : mandala, rumah kontainer, hunian sementara ABSTRACTShelter is an important facility provided by the government as one of the disaster mitigation measures, considering the condition of Indonesia that is prone to natural disasters. In the provision of temporary shelter is not limited to residential units that can be provided quickly, efficiently and effectively only. Shelter provided should be able to provide comfort and can reduce the psychic effects of affected communities and in accordance with the characteristics of shelter based on the principle of sustainability. In this regard, container material can be an alternative to temporary shelter units. In response to this especially in the area of Bali, the application of the concept of mandala in the container building became the basis in the spatial arrangement refers to the homes of Balinese people. This study was conducted by qualitative method with literature study approach by digging the data and information related to the topic of study. Furthermore, the data obtained are prepared and analyzed for the conclusions then drawn. Based on the study mentioned that it is very important to enter the concept of mandala as one of local genius in setting the pattern of temporary shelter unit space because it will affect the comfort level of the occupants. The concept of mandala is applied in the division of 3 zoning space ie main (utama), middle, nista. The three zones are influenced by activities and civities within the dwelling unit. The upstream (main) is a private space serves as a bedroom. Middle Zone (center) is used as a multipurpose room and a place of worship. And on teben (nista) is a service room that is used as a kitchen and bathroom.Keyword: mandala, container house, temporary shelter

Abstract

In the distribution of goods, the efficiency of goods delivery one of which was determined by the path that passed to deliver the goods. The problem of choosing the shortest route was known as the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). To solve the problem of choosing the shortest route in the distribution of goods, the algorithm to be used was Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH). This study aims to determine the minimum distance traveled by using the CIH algorithm.  Researchers determine the route and distance of each place visited by using google map. The concept in the CIH algorithm was to insert an unexpired city with an additional minimum distance until all cities are passed to get the solution of the problem. The step completion problem with CIH algorithm was: 1) search, 2) making sub tour; 3) change the direction of the relationship, 4) repeat the steps so that all places are included in the sub tour. Theoretically, the total distance calculated using the CIH algorithm is 20.2 km, while the total distance calculated previously traveled with the ordered route is 25.2 km. There was a difference of 5 km with the application of CIH algorithm. The difference between the distance certainly has an impact on the optimal distribution of goods to the destination. Therefore, CIH algorithm application can provide a solution for determining the shortest route from the distribution of goods delivery.

Abstract

The media is based on Virtual Reality, which can help educators as a learning medium to explain the material content of science lessons in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to produce a virtual reality-based learning media on the content of elementary school science classes IV. This research is a development study with a 4D development model from Thiagarajan that has been modified. This development model consists of the stages define (definition), design (design), develop (development). The research and development stage is carried out until the develop stage. The results showed that the virtual reality media is very feasible to be used in grade VI elementary school on the subject of natural science by referring to the results of the validation of the experts. The results of validation by media experts are 85% or Very Valid. Material expert validation on the media consisted of 5 aspects. The results of validation by material experts are 82% or Very Valid. The validation of the field application experts to the developed media consisted of 3 aspects. The results of validation by the field application experts are 89% or Very Valid.

Abstract

In a business, profit is a must to reckoned with. Many factors affect the profits of a business, among them, the cost of production, operating costs, selling price, the number of penjulan and others. This study aims to analyze the maximum profit on a business theoretically. This research is a qualitative research using case study method. In this case, the researcher takes the sales data of Cahaya Bintang which is a business in the field of printing. The object of research is the advantage of selling business card and invoice book. Maximum profit will be analyzed by using derivative concept. The steps taken in determining the maximum benefit using the concept of derivatives are: 1) Determine the function of cost, demand function, acceptance function and profit function; 2) Define the first derivative of the profit function; 3) Determining the critical point of the first derivative of the profit function; 4) Analysis of critical point by using second derivative. Based on the results of the analysis using the concept of derivatives, sales of business card and invoice book will achieve maximum profits if the company is able to sell 309 boxes per month and for invoice book of 199 rim per month. Sales of business cards and invoice book in the previous month were below the maximum value determined based on the analysis results. Therefore the profit earned in the previous month has not reached the maximum profit.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the quality control process of an industrial product with theoretical statistical methods. This research was a qualitative research with literature study method. Data obtained from several studies that take samples in the field of goods industry. The data obtained was then analyzed and described descriptively. The quality of a product was one of the basic decisions of consumers to be satisfied with the products they buy according to their wishes and expectations. Statistical quality control was a problem solving technique that was used as a monitor, controller, analyzer, manager and improve the process by using statistical methods. The quality control process of an industrial product with statistical methods was as follows: 1) Made Chech Sheets, 2) Made Pareto Diagrams, 3) Made Control Charts, 4) Made Cause and Effect Diagrams, 5) Made Failure Mode Effect Anlaysis (FMEA) table.

Abstract

This study was aimed to compare algorithms that can effectively provide better solutions related to the problem of determining the shortest route in the distribution of goods. This research was a qualitative research. The object of research was the route of shipping goods of a business that is engaged in printing and convection. The algorithms compared in this study were Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) and Greedy algorithms. Both algorithms have advantages and disadvantages in finding the shortest route. From the results of the analysis using these two algorithms, the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) and Greedy algorithm can provide almost the same optimization results. The difference was only the selection of the journey. The strength of the Greedy algorithm was that the calculation steps are simpler than the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) algorithm. While the disadvantage of the Greedy algorithm was that it is inappropriate to find the shortest route with a relatively large number of places visited. The advantage of the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) algorithm was that this algorithm is still stable, used for the relatively large number of places visited. While the lack of Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH) algorithm was a complicated principle of calculation and was relatively longer than the Greedy algorithm.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to solve the problems related to the optimization of the customer service scheduling system in Indosat Ooredoo Office Kuta Branch by implementing the concept of graph coloring, namely the application of the Welch Powell algorithm. This research was a case study. Data obtained from observations and interviews. The data analyzed is a pre-existing customer service scheduling system. The scheduling system obtained will be analyzed further by using Welch Powell's algorithm to solve problems related to the formation of mobile selling teams and its schedule. Before being analyzed using the Welch Powell algorithm, the scheduling system is represented in graph form. There was a Welch Powell algorithm that is 1) Sort the vertices of G in decreasing degrees; 2) Use one color to color the first node (which has the highest degree) and other vertices that do not match the first node; 3) Start again with the next highest degree node in the ordered list that has not been colored and repeat the process of node transfer using the second color. Based on the results of the analysis, the number of existing customer services can be formed into three teams with alternating mobile selling schedules in one week. This is more efficient than the previous scheduling system that determined the mobile selling team based on the employee's work shift. Based on this, the implementation of the Welch Powell algorithm can solve the problem of scheduling system optimization in the Indosat Ooredoo Customer Service Division of the Kuta Branch theoretically.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan industri start up di bidang pendidikan selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil kajian beberapa sumber literatur, di era moderinisasi ini pola kehidupan masyarakat hampir seluruhnya menuju ke arah digitalisasi begitu juga di sektor pendidikan. Adanya pandemi Covid-19 memaksa sektor pendidikan untuk mampu beradaptasi lebih cepat dengan adanya kebijakan-kebijakan pembatasan kegiatan aktivitas di luar rumah yang bertujuan untuk mencegah penyebaran virus corona. Adanya pembatasan ini menjadikan pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara online dari rumah masing-masing. Keadaan inilah yang menjadikan peluang bagi perusaah  start up untuk menghasilkan inovasi-inovasi yang menjadi solusi untuk menjembatani kesenjangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Apliksi belajar online merupakan solusi yang tepat untuk memaksimalkan sistem pembelajaran online yang dilakukan selama masa pandemi ini. Ada beberapa indikator yang menentukan keberhasilan sebuah start up, yaitu  timming, tim, ide, model bisnis, dan pendanaan (funding). Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah faktor kunci yang menentukan apakah sebuah perusahaan startup akan sukses atau gagal. Selain itu terkait dengan peningkatan jumlah perusaahn start up pendidikan di Indonesia, ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya hal tersebut. Faktor tersebut diantaranya adalah faktor situasi/kondisi, faktor kebutuhan pengguna dan faktor peluang usaha. Aplikasi digital sangat dibutuhkan sebagai solusi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran selama masa pandemi. Sehingga dengan kondisi ini hadirnya start up di bidang pendidikan menjadikan suatu peluang untuk mencari keuntungan. Hal inilah yang mengakibatkan perusahaan start up di bidang pendidikan mulai bermunculan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aplikasi logika fuzzy dalam optimasi jumlah produksi dalam suatu industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi Pustaka. Literatur yang telah terkumpul kemudian dikaji utnuk mengetahui secara konsep dan teoritis bagaimana aplikasi logika fuzzy dalam menentukan optimasi jumlah produksi. Dalam menentukan nilai optimasi jumlah produksi menggunakan logika fuzzy ada tiga tahap yang dilakukan yaitu, mendefinisikan variabel fuzzy, inferensi, defuzzyfikasi. Dalam penetuan jumlah optimal suatu produksi ada 3 variabel yang harus dimodelkan yaitu permintaan, persediaan, dan produksi barang. Langkah sistematis dalam aplikasi logika fungsi dapat diterapkan dalam pengambilan keputusan terhadap jumlah produksi yang optimal di periode berikutnya. Dalam pengaplikasianya logika fuzzy memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Salah satu kelebihan dari logika fuzzy adalah konsep matematis yang mendasari penalaran logika fuzzy sangat sederhana dan mudah dimengerti sehingga sangat fleksibel untuk diaplikasikan.
