Abstract

Detecting troop camouflage on the battlefield is crucial to beat or decide in critical situations to survive. This paper proposed a hybrid model based on deep action learning for camouflage recognition and detection. To involve deep action learning in this proposed system, deep learning based on you only look once (YOLOv3) with SquezeeNet and the fourth steps on action learning were engaged. Following the successful formulation of the learning cycle, an instrument examines the environment and performance in action learning with qualitative weightings; specific target detection experiments with view angle, target localization, and the firing point procedure were performed. For each deep action learning cycle, the complete process is divided into planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. If the results do not meet the minimal passing grade after the first cycle, the cycle will be repeated until the system succeeds in the firing point. Furthermore, this study found that deep action learning could enhance intelligence over earlier camouflage detection methods, while maintaining acceptable error rates. As a result, deep action learning could be used in armament systems if the environment is properly identified.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kefektifan trainer digital berbasis mikrokontroler sebagai sarana pembelajaran praktik di SMK, dan (2) tanggapan dari guru dan siswa pengguna trainer. Objek yang diteliti adalah Trainer digital hasil rancangan yang telah tervalidasi. Uji kefektifan dilakukan melalui penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Responden penelitian terdiri dari 19 siswa kelas X Teknik Audio Video di SMK Muhammadiyah I Bantul. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas angket untuk guru dan siswa, soal pretest dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Untuk menguji tingkat keefektifan Trainer digunakan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, sosialisasi yang dilakukan terhadap guru-guru SMK diperoleh tanggapan 28,6% guru menyatakan bahwa Trainer digital yang telah dikembangkan sangat menarik dan 71,4% guru menyatakan menarik. Kedua, uji kefektifan dengan menggunakan N-gain diperoleh nilai gain sebesar 70,50% dan masuk kategori efektif. Ketiga, motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan trainer 68,42% sangat tinggi dan 31,58% tinggi. Dengan demikian, trainer digital berbasis mikrokontroler efektif digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran praktik digital di SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teknologi alternatif dalam mengembangkan sistem layanan akses Internet bergerak (mobile internet). Sistem yang diteliti adalah Mobile   Internet Berbasis Telepon Seluler Multikoneksi (MIBTSM). MIBTSM menggunakan modem  GSM/CDMA, dengan mengimplementasikan penyeimbangan beban sehingga menghasilkan    Quality of Service (QoS) khususnya laju bit yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian berupa prototipe MIBTSM menggunakan Zeroshell dengan eksperimen konfigurasi dan implementasi penyeimbangan beban roundrobin atau failover. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa  sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik. Koneksi Internet menggunakan 2 modem telepon  seluler GSM dengan layanan Tsel Flash Corporate dimana laju bit masing-masing saat melakukan  unduhan adalah 500 Kbps s.d. 700 Kbps. Sistem multikoneksi dengan penyeimbangan   beban 2 modem tersebut menghasilkan laju bit saat melakukan unduhan sebesar 1 Mbps s.d. 1,5 Mbps. Kata  kunci:  mobile   internet, modem  GSM/CDMA, e-learning, penyeimbangan beban (load  balancing).

Abstract

Technology trend nowadays is  connecting  one  instrument with  itothers  to  be  an  integrated system  that  can  ease  human's  work.Integrated Control Panel is  an  electricity control panel  which is controlled remotely. This control panel  is  so  much because of its efficiency which is gained and more than one instrument which are controlled. This control panel is  a remote controlled that can ease human's work, do security control and self control. This research a  . started from  software and hardware plan making and implementing the result of the analytic technique is  used to answer whether theresearch on remote sensing using Web can be more efficient and makehuman's work easier. The result of the analytic technique is shown bythe speed of access time between the client and  the server. From thefinding it can be conclude that Integrated Control Panel which can be controlled through web browser can be ease human's work in doingcontrol  access  to  electricity  instruments.  This  control  method  isobviously more efficient because of small access time. This is shown by the mean of access time which is only 265 milliseconds. This panelis provide with database system to save data control. This databasecan be accessed to know the data control.

Abstract

Abstract: This study investigated the factors that influence a number of financial issues students face in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A survey was conducted to collect the data for this study. Respondents were asked to demonstrate which of the ten financial education topics they were keen on taking. Descriptive statistics was utilized to present the data. The results show that loans, residential status, and impulse spending were the causes that brought about the students’ financial issues. By identifying the causes of students’ financial issues, educators may be able offer a course, in which students can learn the money management skills needed to address these issues. The respondents were asked if they would be interested in financial education if offered. Almost all of the students expressed their interest in learning how to manage their money. In conclusion, many of the respondents did not have sufficient knowledge and skills in managing their financial affairs.Keywords: financial issues, loans, residential status, impulse spending, money management Perilaku dan Masalah Pengelolaan Uang di Kalangan Mahasiswa Universitas Kongo: Kebutuhan Keuangan PendidikanAbstrak: Penelitian ini menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sejumlah masalah keuangan yang dihadapi siswa di Republik Demokratik Kongo. Sebuah survei dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data untuk penelitian ini. Responden diminta untuk menunjukkan yang mana dari sepuluh topik pendidikan keuangan yang mereka minati. Statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk menyajikan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pinjaman, status tempat tinggal, dan pengeluaran impulsif merupakan penyebab yang menimbulkan masalah keuangan siswa. Dengan mengidentifikasi penyebab masalah keuangan siswa, pendidik mungkin dapat menawarkan kursus, agar siswa dapat mempelajari keterampilan pengelolaan uang yang diperlukan untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Para responden ditanya apakah mereka akan tertarik dengan pendidikan keuangan jika ditawarkan. Hampir semua siswa menyatakan minatnya untuk mempelajari cara mengelola uang mereka. Kesimpulannya, banyak responden yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai dalam mengelola urusan keuangannya.Kata Kunci: masalah keuangan, pinjaman, status tempat tinggal, pengeluaran impulsif, pengelolaan uang

Abstract

Sliding mode controller (SMC) has become a popular traditional control method in industries due to the most effective control strategies employing nonlinear control and the ability to reject disturbances, particularly for line trajectory control. However, this control method has chattering problems due to high-frequency switching. To cope with the shortcoming, an artificial intelligence (AI) method is utilized in the traditional SMC to eliminate or reduce this chattering problem. This paper investigates an adaptive fuzzy logic system combined with SMC algorithm to alleviate the problem. Fuzzy logic is chosen due to its advantages in tackling nonlinear properties using if-then thinking, whereas SMC method can be applied due to its ability to reject disturbance control. The inverted pendulum is selected as a controlled object and simulated using MATLAB/Simulink to investigate this control method. By combining the fuzzy logic system and the SMC approach, the chattering problems can be adaptively reduced on the line trajectory tracking signal. The adaptive fuzzy SMC achieved better performance with fast response compared with previous literature algorithms for similar plants.

Abstract

 Learning Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming is influenced by several factors, that is: lecturer competence in PLC programming, adequacy of information technology infrastructure in learning, availability of learning media, vocational guidance procedures, and learning motivation. The purpose of this study: (a) to describe the factors that contribute to PLC programming learning, (b) to formulate a PLC programming competency model, and (c) to examine the determinants of PLC programming learning. Model testing method using Path Analysis.  The results of this analysis are expected to be able to describe the relational patterns between variables in learning PLC programming, as well as the direct and indirect impacts on the mastery of PLC programming competencies.  Keywords: PLC programming competency, path analysis, vocational education.
