Abstract

Document summarization is needed to get the information effectively and efficiently. One method used to obtain the document summarization by applying machine learning techniques. This paper proposes the application of regression models to query-focused multi-document summarization based on the significance of the sentence position. The method used is the Support Vector Regression (SVR) which estimates the weight of the sentence on a set of documents to be made as a summary based on sentence feature which has been defined previously. A series of evaluations performed on a data set of DUC 2005. From the test results obtained summary which has an average precision and recall values of 0.0580 and 0.0590 for measurements using ROUGE-2, ROUGE 0.0997 and 0.1019 for measurements using the proposed regression-SU4. Model can perform measurements of the significance of the position of the sentence in the document well.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan Islam, keteladanan merupakan metode yang paling banyak terlihat hasilnya dan terbukti bersifat influentif di dalam membentuk moral, spiritual maupun sosial seorang anak. Qashidah Burdah melalui sya’ir-sya’ir nya yang begitu indah, yang menceritakan kisah Rasulullah yang terpilih, ditulis oleh seorang penyair yang alim. Teori belajar sosial menjelaskan bahwa, perilaku dibentuk oleh hubungan yang terjadi antara klien dengan lingkungannya. Modeling adalah salah satu teknik yang disusun oleh Albert Bandura. Tujuan dari riset ini merupakan sebagai sarana untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan keteladanan dalam syair-syair qasidah burdah dan relevansinya terhadap teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura. Harapan dari riset ini adalah agar dapat dijadikan sebagai gagasan pendekatan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kapasitas belajar dengan metode keteladanan. Bentuk riset ini adalah riset kualitatif yang menggunakan metode riset pustaka (library research). Di dalam riset ini ditemukan bahwa di dalam qasidah burdah terdapat kisah-kisah Rasulullah yang dapat kita jadikan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran, yaitu metode keteladanan. Hal yang demikian itu sinkron dengan teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura.

Abstract

 Motivasi belajar siswa merupakan hal yang sangat diperlukan sehingga siswa mudah dalam  menangkap infomasi atau pelajaran yang diberikan oleh pengajar atau guru. Motivasi merupakan respon dari suatu aksi, motivasi akan terangsang dengan adanya tujuan. Terdapat banyak pendekatan yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, salah satunya adalah pendekatan realitas. Pendekatan realitas sendiri bertujuan untuk membantu individu menjadi rasional dan memiliki mental yang kuat. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling dengan pendekatan realitas untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Riset ini merupakan literatur review atau riset literature dimana peneliti mengkaji beberapa penelitian yang sudah dilakukan sebelumnya yang sesuai dengan tema penelitian kali ini.

Abstract

One type of cooperative learning methods is Think Pair Share (TPS). This study aimed at examining the contribution of the TPS method in increasing students' critical thinking in Islamic studies. Particularly, the study investigated the significances of the difference between learned students using TPS method and conventional method, and the effectiveness of TPS learning method. This study used an experimental group and a control group. It is a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-tests non equivalent control group design. The population of this research are students who take courses in Islamic studies. Samples are taken randomly by taking two classes for an experimental class and a control class. The technique of collecting data was tests, while the technique of data analysis used the statistical technique of t-test (independent and paired samples) within the application of the SPSS release 24 program. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant difference (sig .000) between groups of students who are taught by the TPS Method and conventional Method. In addition, the TPS method has also proven to be effective for teaching Islamic studies which shows a significant difference (sig .000) between the pre-test and post-test.

Abstract

Math anxiety is a crucial problem experienced by almost all students. Due to the math anxiety affects the decreasing of mathematics achievement, many educators and researchers focused to overcome the math anxiety. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effects of math self-efficacy, social support, and academic flow on math anxiety. This research used a quantitative approach, by using psychological scales survey as a data collection. The participants of this study were 167 students which were collected using quota sampling technique at two high schools. The results show that there was a simultaneous significant negative effect of math self-efficacy, social support, and academic flow toward math anxiety. In addition, the partial analysis shows that there is no significant effect between math self-efficacy and math anxiety. While social support and academic flow have a significant effect on math anxiety. Thus, social support and academic flow can be used as strong predictors of math anxiety.

Abstract

Kitab Alfiyah of Muhammad bin Abdillah bin Malik al-Andalusi or known as Ibnu Malik is famous for resource of Arabic grammar. It is uncommon to find discourse of the kitab apart from the Arabic grammar. It is the fact that moral values are the other side of its contents, implicitly live in the stanzas. Philosophical worldview makes possible to uncover the moral values, then to interpret it, and to internalize it throung learning activities. This article describes the moral contents, internalization methods, and reflection of the internalization towards santri in Pondok Pesantren Langitan Tuban. With naturalistic paradigm, data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. Findings shows that moral internalization in the kitab Alfiyah Ibn Malik learning activities was going through modelling, rewards, punishment, building habits, and indoctrination. In addition, author finds 31 moral values within stanzas in the kitab and 12 reflective behaviors by santri.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the results of moderate dakwah analyzes that discourse Habib Muhammad Luthfi bin Yahya in the virtual media. Through the virtual media, Habib Luthfi has been conducting dakwah activists in spreading Islamic moderation values ​​so as to create harmony in the life of society and to showcase Islam of rahmatan lil ‘alamin. The analytical technique used in this paper uses discourse analysis of media text of Teun A. Van Dijk, that is analyzing media text discourse by connecting text and context through social cognition of text maker. The study findings show that the moderate dakwah of Habib Muhammad Luthfi bin Yahya in the virtual media presents the face of Islam that does not teach excessive in every way, and always balanced and fair in looking at human beings. He urges Muslims not to fight against each other, not to mutually abuse each other, but instead to invite Muslims to strengthen brotherhood among human beings.

Abstract

Adanya pandemic covid-19 yang masih melanda di Indonesia, memberikan dampak buruk bagi berbagai bidang salah satunya, bidang pendidikan. Sekolah terpaksa ditutup. Hal ini menjadikan pembelajaran yang tadinya system tatap muka maka harus diubah menjadi pendidikan jarak jauh. Agar pembelajaran tetap berjalan secara optimal dibutuhkan bantuan orang tua untuk selalu support anak mereka agar anak tetap semangat menjalani pembelajaran di rumah, selain itu STEAM juga dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran di rumah. Dengan pendekatan STEAM berbasis parental Support anak diharapkan akan membantu anak meningkatkan krativitas selama belajar di rumah di masa pandemic, kemudian orang tua diharapkan selalu mensupport anak dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di rumah selama masa pandemic covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan STEAM berbasis parental support untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak belajar dari rumah selama masa pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan mengumpulkan data dan fenomena dari sumber terbaik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan STEAM berbasis parental support efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak belajar dari rumah selama masa pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

One of the goals of Islamic education is to increase human intelligence and increase the spirituality of each individual. Thus education can improve the quality of life of each individual. One of the problems faced in the world of education is related to the curriculum which is the heart of educational institutions. The curriculum that regulates the course of the education system and as the manager of the education program. So if the curriculum does not have innovations that are in accordance with the challenges of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the resulting learning cannot improve the ability of students to compete in the 4.0 industrial revolution. So, the authors research using the literature review research method which results that the PAI curriculum that can answer the challenges of education in industry 4.0 is an adaptive and responsive PAI curriculum by producing various programs that can support the ability of students to think critically and innovatively, collaborate and have a global perspective.

Abstract

Internet as media and information technology not only has a positive impact but also harms its users. Teenagers are the most vulnerable group that has an impact on internet use. The impact of using the internet depends on the digital literacy level of its users. This study examines digital literacy's effect on using the internet with Islamic content among urban Muslim teenagers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research subjects were 500 urban adolescents as the research sample. Measuring instruments used in this study are the Digital Literacy Scale for Teenagers to measure digital literacy and the Internet Behaviors Scale to measure internet usage behaviour. The result showed that digital literacy had a significant positive effect on internet usage behavior (B = 0.314; t = 13.602; p = 0.000). The higher level of digital literacy of adolescents automatically makes the higher behaviour in using the internet shows that digital literacy is important for using the internet with Islamic content among urban Muslim teenagers.
