Abstract

Internet of things (IoT) and fuzzy logic are very useful in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of a system; this study applies both to the street lighting systems. The prototype of a street lighting control and monitoring system has been completed. The status of lights that are on or off and the value of the light intensity can be monitored by using IoT. The intensity of the light is fuzzy controlled by utilizing the presence of vehicles and pedestrians around the lights. The prototype is made with a scale against real conditions. Data is processed and transmitted using a microcontroller and Wi-Fi on the IoT module. Mobile applications have been used on smartphone interfaces to monitor and control lamps wherever they are connected to the Internet. Changes in the status of lights to turn on or off are done by the relay module. The fuzzy light intensity control system uses sensors and microcontrollers by utilizing the presence of vehicles and pedestrians around the lights. Performance evaluation has been carried out on a miniature street lighting with the results of monitoring and control following its function. An analysis of the resulting energy savings has been demonstrated.

Abstract

Fire is a disaster that often occurs but can be prevented. Based on data from the Bandung City Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), in 2018 there were 198 fire incidents (16.5 events / month), and in a periode 2012 - 2017 fires caused by LPG gas had the second largest percentage at 17%. Therefore a fire extinguishing system that can detect and prevent it quickly and can be monitored remotely in real time will help minimize losses. This system design uses an LM35 sensor which can detect temperature, the KY-026 sensor can detect the presence of hotspots in any room, and the MQ-6 sensor can detect the levels of LPG gas in the room. Moreover, this system design is also able to drive 2 emergency doors, pumps and exhaust fans according to the specified algorithm. The system interface can provide actuator information on the prototype as well as the location of the fire plan with a delay of each data change of 6.67 seconds. And the system is able to provide an indicator of the evacuation route during a fire.

Abstract

The vicose silo simulation tool is a production process that is intended to drain the pulp, and the production process uses pneumatic control as a rescue and direct human work. In this paper a control system is designed for a viscose silo simulation tool with a close loop system. Control system equipment that is designed using a water level float sensor component or commonly referred to as a water level float sensor. The float sensor water level is used to detect the full level of the silo which then gives a signal directly to the PLC and will then be processed and output will be output to the solenoid valve to move the cylinder used to open and close the slide gate on the silo channel. The method used in making this tool is construction design, electro pneumatic system planning, and assembly. Based on testing that has been done, the system can work well and in accordance with the design.

Abstract

Kandang merupakan salah satu bagian dari manajemen ternak unggas yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan, kesalahan dalam manajemen kandang dapat berakibat fatal yang berujung pada kerugian bagi peternak. Pada sistem kandang terbuka keadaan suhu di dalam kandang bergantung pada alam saja, tidak dapan diatur sesuai kebutuhan ayam. Keadaan alam yang selalu berubah – ubah dapat mempengaruhi kualitas dari ayam itu sendiri, khususnya kualitas pada daging ayam. Untuk menutupi kekurangan pada sistem kandang terbuka tersebut dapat ditanggulangi dengan dibuatnya sistem kandang tertutup. Sistem kandang tertutup (Closed House) merupakan sistem kandang yang dapat membantu mengoptimalkan kondisi lingkungan yang meliputi suhu didalam kandang. Hasil akhir dari sistem closed house ini diharapkan dapat mengatur suhu di dalam kandang dan meningkatkan kualitas hasil panen dibandingkan dengan sistem kandang terbuka (open house). Keadaan suhu di dalam kandang sistem closed house ini tidak melewati ambang kritis yang dibutuhkan untuk pertumbuhan ayam yang ideal. Hasil pengujian alat menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik walaupun masih terdapat error dalam pengukurannya.

Abstract

The public health monitoring system at the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) is a form of integrated health service carried out in a Puskesmas working area where the implementation is carried out in each Kelurahan or RW. It can be said that the system is not optimal because during the Covid-19 virus pandemic we have to minimize activities that are physical in nature, such as the use of health books which are currently being used less than optimally for the community because it allows for the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Then the monitoring system still uses email for sending data from Posyandu to Puskesmas, Puskesmas to the Health Office and Health Office to the Ministry of Health. This system is not profitable, because in addition to requiring a lot of time for data transmission, the data sent may fail or not be successfully sent. Solutions related to these problems can be solved by creating a multi-platform-based maternal and child health monitoring system, the monitoring system here can already be done in real time using a database so there is no need for manual data transmission such as via email. In just a few seconds, the data received by the Posyandu from the community will be monitored directly by the Puskesmas, the Health Service and the Ministry of Health. In addition, the data that was previously collected in the form of a book is now replaced with an application that can be opened via a smartphone which contains data along with children's development charts. So that the community and other health care parties can access children's development simply by using a smartphone. In addition, the data will also be managed very well and the data will be maintained when using the application when compared to using a book, the data can be damaged or lost.

Abstract

Manfaat otomatisasi di industri mendorong perkembangan yang sangat pesat pada teknologi manufaktur, energi, makanan, kesehatan, transportasi, militer pertanian, dan sebagainya. Peningkatan teknologi tersebut memiliki peranan yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas, produk maupun prosesnya serta untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan kesehatan, yang pada akhirnya sangat menentukan daya saing suatu industri. Salah satunya adalah bisnis pertanian, dimana setiap harinya permintaan pupuk di Indonesia sangatlah banyak. Akan tetapi sebagian produsen pupuk lokal masih menggunakan peralatan manual sehingga menyebabkan efektifitas produksi terlambat. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba membuat rancangan bangun alat pengisian pupuk secara otomatis, dimana alat ini dirancang menggunakan outseal PLC, dan solenoid valve. Berdasarkan pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan perancangan.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang pesat, mendorong manusia untuk melangkah maju. Dunia industri yang terus berkembang seiring ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak terlepas dari perkembangan mesin-mesin produksi, mulai dari persiapan bahan baku, perakitan, sampai pengepakan barang jadi. Semua proses atau aktivitas industri tersebut tidak lepas dari peran sistem otomasi. Sistem otomasi dalam proses manufaktur bisa membantu kerja operator menjadi lebih efisien, menghemat biaya produksi, mutu yang baik, dan konsisten. Salah satu sistem otomasi yang populer di dunia industri adalah sistem pneumatik yang dikoordinasikan dengan Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis merancang suatu suatu sistem kontrol pneumatik Silo Viscose menggunakan PLC. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan PLC Mitsubishi FX2N-32MR-ES/UL, water level float sensor dan solenoid valve. Berdasarkan pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan perancangan.

Abstract

Electricity, as a very important source of energy, was distributed to customers in the amount of 245518.17 GWh in 2019, and 42.25% of customers were households. The high consumption of electricity needs to be kept in mind. It is necessary to have a good and intelligent energy efficiency system. Nowadays, Internet of Things (IoT) technology is being widely used. The electricity monitoring system and prediction of the use of electrical energy in real time based on technology can be one solution to the problem of electrical energy efficiency. For this reason, the Monitoring System for household electricity use using an Internet of Things-based website is expected to increase user awareness and make electrical energy efficient in household groups. This study designs Internet of Things (IoT) technology for a smart monitoring system in everyday electricity use. The research method is experimental with a quantitative approach. This study tries Firebase as an IoT platform with NodeMCU ESP-32 as the microcontroller. The sensor used to detect all electrical parameters is PZEM 004T V3. Monitoring data in real time can be accessed via a web browser. The system as a whole system works well, in accordance with the desired work design. The average value of error reading energy is 2% or a difference of 0.01 kWh every day, as well as latency testing with an average delay of 21.5 ms, with 64 Byte data testing with a timeout of 1000 ms, 0.2% packet loss percentage of 548 data

Abstract

Hal terpenting pada machine learning adalah fitur ekstraksi dari sebuah data mentah. Pada jurnal ini akan dijelaskan mengenai Implementasi Machine Learning untuk identifikasi orang batuk / bersin. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengklasifikasi suara bersin dan batuk pada situasi yang sulit seperti noise yang terdapat pada data mentah. Pekembangan kecerdasan buatan yang cukup pesat terutama pada klasifikasi suara menggunakan machine learning dapat membantu untuk membedakan batuk dan bersin berdasarkan suara. Dalam tugas akhir ini, algoritma Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) digunakan karena algoritma ini mampu mengklasifikasikan pola suara dari suatu data. Untuk menghasilkan program pendeteksi batuk penulis membuat 3 program utama yaitu Pre-Processing, Training, dan Prediction. Melalui metode yang digunakan, Implementasi Machine Learning untuk identifikasi orang batuk / bersin mampu mencapai nilai rata-rata akurasi 68,52%, presisi 88,10% dan recall 62,03%.

Abstract

Pariwisata di suatu daerah merupakan salah satu penggerak ekonomi. Situ Cileunca merupakan suatu danau di daerah Pangalengan yang dikenal sebagai tempat wisata. Ditegah danau tersebut terdapat sebuah kampung yang disebut Kampung Cibuluh. Sebagai tempat wisata, Kampung Cibuluh memiliki keterbatasan fasilitas berupa penerangan dan peta informasi lokasi wisata. Melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dalam mengambil peran tridarma perguruan tinggi yaitu pengabdian pada masyarakat, Mahasiswa Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung melakukan rencana pembuatan alat untuk menerangi jalan umum dan peta lokasi berupa sign system di sekitar kampung Cibuluh. Dilakukan analisis berdasarkan survei terhadap alat penerangan jalan secara umum dan penunjuk lokasi, lalu hasilnya dibuat desain rancangan dari kedua alat yang akan dibuat. Setelah itu dilakukan pembuatan dan pemasangan kedua alat tersebut. Setelah dilakukan uji coba, baik penerangan jalan maupun peta lokasi wisata dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Akhirnya penerangan jalan dan peta lokasi berupa sign system di Kampung Cibuluh Situ Cileunca Pangalengan dapat dipasang dan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat maupun wisatawan di sekitar Situ Cileunca, Desa Cibuluh.
