Abstract

Kemampuan kognitif adalah keterampilan berbasis otak yang diperlukan untuk melakukan tugas apapun dari yang sederhana hingga yang paling kompleks. Struktur kognitif yang ada pada seorang anak sangat cepat, seperti: mereka akan lebih cepat menangkap dan mengingat sesuatu yang nyata baginya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang kemampuan kognitif dalam meningkatkan efektivtas pembelajaran ilmu sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang ditujukan pada pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Peaget membagi perkembangan kognitif menjadi empat fase yaitu fase sensorimotor, fase pra-operasional, fase operasi beton, dan fase operasi formal. Strategi untuk setiap fase adalah dengan menggunakan tindakan dan instruksi yang tepat dari guru. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa teori kognitif Piaget telah menyumbangkan tema berkaitan dengan perkembanngan kognitif seseorang dan dapat menjadi acuan dalam meningatkan efektifitas pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial. Peneliti merekomendasikan pada penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengkaji tahap-tahap perkembangan kognitif yang mempengaruhi kegiatan belajar anak di sekolah maupun di rumah.

Abstract

Entering teen-age, in general, either adolescent son or daugther is hard to be arranged though by its own parents. This matter is problem had by each adolescences, there are four the important matters which become fundamental study at this research, that is: (1) Condition of moral and adolescent creativity in countryside of Bancelok, (2) Effort of moral construction and adolescent creativity in countryside of Bancelok, (3) Resistances faced in moral construction and adolescent creativity in countryside of Bancelok, and also (4) Effort is done to increase the moral construction and adolescent creativity [in countryside of Bancelok. This Research uses approach qualitative. There are four elements becoming the source of informations in this research, that is; old fellow, elite figure society, government officer, and young man figure. Whereas relating to field study (data collecting) using the observation method, interview, and documentation. Later, data that is gathered to be analysed using two approaches, that is: descriptive informative and descriptive analysis.

Abstract

Kosakata adalah elemen yang penting dalam penguasaan bahasa asing. Koleksi jumlah kosakata yang terbatas akan menghambat siswa untuk berkomunikasi dalam bahasa target, yakni bahasa Inggris. Untuk itu siswa harus memiliki strategi untuk mengusai kosakata. Jenis kosakata yang seringkali menjadi kesulita siswa adalah phrasal verb, idiom, slang, dan colloquial hal ini berdampak pada adanya penerapan strategi penguasaan kosakata berbeda dari masing-masing siswa. Strategi yang dipakai seperti memory strategies, cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies dan compensation strategies.Strategi yang paling membantu untuk diterapkan adalah strategi gabungan dari berbagai jenis strategi tersebut di atas.

Abstract

The result of thisresearch about the healthy behaviour changes of the cadres of Maternal & Child Health Centre showed the effectivenessof the health campaign message from the local government of Bandar Lampung. There were the health behaviour changes with the quite significant result from the path analysis examined in the direct and indirect effect.It was concluded that the specific characteristics of the messageplayed an important role in the effectiveness of health campaigns. Moreover, the segmentation of the society also affected the effectiveness of the message. There were indications that the message received by the audience couldaffect the respondents’ healthy behaviour. This confirmed the basic assumption of Icek Ajzen’s theory of planned behaviour which became the theoretical basis of the research framework.KEYWORDS: Characteristics of The Message; Health Campaigns; Healthy Behaviour; Theory ofPlanned Behaviour

Abstract

Basically, communication campaign is a planned, organized,persuasive activity, and conducted within a specific time togain specific effects on the receivers. The campaign in theresearch is an environmental health campaign consisting ofcommunicator credibility factors in forming healthy lifeattitude with governmental institution communicators, in thiscase, the Health service office of Bandar Lampung city,which is aimed at doing healthy life persuasion specifically tothe citizen intended to Posyandu cadres as receivers.It is a quantitative research and uses qualitative data. Theresearch is on the receivers perspective, which has a focus onthe healthy life effects. The hypothesis uses path analysiscounted through SPSS (Statistical Programme ServiveSolution). The data gain with questionnaire to 283respondents as the sampel, using random samping techniquewith population as 2,830 people.Key words : Persuasion, Campaign, Health Environment,Communicator Credibility, Healthy Life Attitude.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to find out the effect of advertisement and after-sale service on customer satisfaction at PT Electronic City Bogor. The research was held from November 2011 to Januari 2012. The population is customer of PT Electronic City Bogor, the reachable population is 130 by random sampling. The conclusions from the study are as follows: 1) There is a positive and significant (α = 0.05) effect of advertisement on customer satisfaction with regression equation Ŷ = 72.406 + 0.347 X1; 2) There is a positive and significant (α = 0.05) effect after sale service on customer satisfaction with regression equation Ŷ = 67.375 + 0.365 X2; 3) There is a positive and significant (α = 0.05) effect of advertisement and after-sale service altogether on customer satisfaction with regression equation Ŷ = 42.871 + 0.283 X1 + 0.303 X2. The implications of the research results are as follows: 1) The higher of advertisement offered, will lead to the higher customer satisfaction; 2) The higher the after sale service offered, will lead to the higher customer satisfaction; 3) The higher of advertisement and after-sale service offered altogether, will lead to the higher customer satisfaction.Keywords: Advertisement, after-sale service, and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Regression analysis is frequently used to study forecasting and relation between some variables. In studying forecasting and relation between some variables using regression, needed the best model. This research aim to multiple regression modelling for data in emotional intelligence studies and applied to the case for identified of factors influence the student emotional intelligence in Institut Agama Islam Negeri Bone. The research objective was knowledge the best regression linear model and factors influence to the emotional intelligence. The results showed the best regression linear model to knowledge influence factors of the student emotional intelligence in Institut Agama Islam Negeri Bone is, i = 77.6 + 0.468X1i + 0.295X2i + 0.35X3i. Based on this model, imagination, cognition, and personalityis significant influence to the emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This is a part of a larger study investigating the potential of Facebook for mathematics learning. This case study explored the responses of Facebook users towards opened and closed mathematical tasks posted on Facebook. In total, 149 Facebook users responded to the tasks resulting in 242 comments during a short period of time. All of the responses were downloaded and content analysis was utilised to identify patterns occurring within the responses. Virtual ethnographic study was also applied to further identify the demographical background of participants (education/professional background and locations). The results of this study suggests that opened mathematical tasks create broader opportunities for the Facebook users to express their mathematical ideas in different ways and attract richer mathematical interactions among the users than closed mathematical tasks. The nature of the task potentially shaped the types of responses from the Facebook users. This paper discusses some broad observations on the implications of the study as well as suggestions for future research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of shade level on the growth of plantlets dragon fruit . This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of three treatment that is shaded by 1 (N1), 2 (N2) and 3 (N3) waring layer. Each treatment was repeated three times so there are 9 units of the experiment. Each experimental unit consisted of 10 plants.  Therfore, there are a total of 90 samples of plants were observed. The results showed that the 2, 4, 6 and 8 week after planting, waring with two layers of shade treatment (N2) shown a good value for all the observations such as number of shoots, plant height and stem diameter compared to waringwith one layer of shade (N1) and 3 layer (N3).
