Abstract

From the importance of Englishin world of internationally communicated,  the problems of learning management in each area seems to be differenced, language and culture are needed for recognizing, active learning is called for  effectiveness instruction, and primary English teachers need to prepared in modern classroom. This research employed evaluative research to employ active learning for primary English teachers through professional program. Data were collected by setting a connoisseurship technique. Seven experts are appointed and read carefully a tentative program for primary English teachers. The connoisseurship technique allowed all experts share their experiences and ideas to promote active learning in freely. Video recording and note taking were recorded during the validation activity. Active learning program for primary English teachers is approved before implementation in different school contexts. The uncertainty situations, COVID-19 pandemic may be affected to schooling, teachers have to redesign lesson. The implementation though active online learning is needed to discuss and rethinking how it be effectively in authentic classroom.

Abstract

The rapidly changed in our society and education may influence to nature of learning and learning behaviors in young new generation. The 21st century learning is requiring educators to prepare our children by quality of learning and teaching. Teachers are key change agent to help learners live and learn with new learning environments. The study aimed to explore perspective of Thai educators toward 21st century learning and teaching by surveying method. The study investigated 41,991 educators who have responsibility or concerns in teaching and learning. Data were collected through online questionnaire and then analyzed by statistical package in terms of frequency and percentage. Finding revealed that 21st century learning and teaching in classroom should be conducted in appropriate ways, but a few misunderstand in support system and learning environment were reported. Educators should be discussed and prepared both teachers and learners to modern classroom.

Abstract

This study purposed to investigate researching anxiety of pre-service teachers that might want to explain why they are able to learn successfully in the context of difference in program of study. There were 15 pre-service teachers in M.Ed. program of teaching science and mathematics voluntary participated. Learning Anxiety Questionnaire (LAQ) was employed their anxiety towards learning through Google Form. The study revealed that pre-service teachers had anxiety at medium level. However, some of item present they had different level of anxiety. The effective learning for decreasing level anxiety needs to be more discussed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to synthesize research report of personnel in the Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University. There were 81 research reports funded by Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University between the academic years of 2012-2019 were employed. The research revealed that most of research concerning teacher development amounting to 69 researches, followed by research report of the support staff amounting to 12 researches. Most of research reports were basic research, applied research, and collaborative teaching research amounting to 55 researches, followed by production research and development of personnel that emphasized on the concept of learning based on the actual situation amounting to 11 researches. The greatest number of research was produced and published in 2018, 23 researches, and in 2019, 13 researches. They were publishing in Thai journals, total of 75 research. The utilization of research to apply for policy benefits, 75 research and for public in four research. Research methodology employed 50 operational researches, 29 quasi-experimental researches, 33 researches to studies, 25 comparative researches and 16 researches to find correlation.

Abstract

The local knowledge is a simply integrated in education and learning process. This study aims to promote local knowledge in school through service learning. The learning process is employed herbal plants to reinforce students learn how to sustain local knowledge with modern life and 21st century classroom. Participants consisted of 42 preservice teachers, 11 inservice teachers, and 50 secondary students. Findings revealed that service learning is significantly promoted public mind, self-efficacy, learning satisfaction, and learning process in local knowledge.

Abstract

The study explored primary teachers and students’ anxiety toward online instruction during COVID-19 pandemic, the factors affecting anxiety related to online instruction of students and teachers in primary school. This research study was designed to collect data from primary teachers and students on the factors that affect anxiety in online teaching. The informants were 127 students and 11 teachers based on the purpose of the research. Questionnaire concerning general student data, such as gender, grade level, online study equipment, and online learning channels. Factors influencing anxiety in online education in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, with 23 items for students and 25 items for teachers. Data is collected by online inquiries with students and teachers According to the findings, the general degree of factors influencing anxiety from online instruction in primary school is at moderate level. Physical and mental elements, evaluation and course content are the categories of factors that have the most impact on students’ anxiety toward online learning. Meanwhile, the factors that have the greatest impact on students’ anxiety toward online learning are concerning about their grades and courses are extremely recorded. Students believe that online learning is more challenging than traditional classroom. At the same time, teachers are worried about online assessment, concerns about students who are unable to attend online sessions. Teachers who only use computers to teach online have less anxiety than teachers who use computers, tablets, and mobile phones.
