Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the media of Learning Media catalog which can give information briefly, regularly and clearly about the material of history of war against colonialism, the time of arrival process and the power of VOC, and the impact of Dutch government in class XI, and in class X the impact in spreading Islam and also aims to strengthen the understanding of local history of the students. This type of research is a Level 1 development which is where in the preparation of this medium with the development method Sugiyono level 1 which where only test the feasibility of the product with internal validating stage by the team of experts not to the stage test try to students, with the preparation must also be adjusted with the analysis KI, KD and the subject matter, after the drafting process is completed then the next stage can be validated internally by a team of material and media experts.Based on the results of research, has been obtained instructional media based local historical heritage in Menggala Tulang Bawang which has been through the validation stage, validation is a media feasibility test developed, validation is through two stages of stage 1 and 2, which of course there are suggestions and comments in order to revise the product back up to the criteria worth at least score 81 and from the data obtained on the validation of material and media experts there is an increase in scores at stages 1 and 2, in stage 1 the material got a percentage of 78% and in stage 2 with the value 88% percentage. While the validation of media experts in stage 1 got the percentage of 80% and in stage 2 got a percentage of 94%. From these data can already be declared feasible tested

Abstract

This study aims to identify the cultural values and character of the nation in the text of the Dalung Bojong Inscription of the Sultanate of Banten in Lampung. The content analysis (content) method with a descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. The results indicated that the Dalung Bojong Inscription contained ten cultural values and national characters, including the following: 1) Tolerance; 2) Democratic; 3) Friendly/ Communicative; 4) Peaceful; 5) Discipline; 6) National Spirit; 7) Responsibility; 8) Patriotism; 9) Social Concerns; 10) Appreciating Achievements. It is concluded that the value of Discipline is the predominating value in the inscription text's 12 articles. It is demonstrated by the text of the Dalung Bojong Inscription, which contains a set of regulations aimed at controlling, regulating, and maintaining order in the Lampung people's political, economic, and social lives.

Abstract

In 1905 the Dutch East Indies Government began implementing an Ethical Policy in Lampung. Of the three policies, the most visible traces in Lampung are the policy of population movement and irrigation development. This study aims to: (1) explain the history of the existence of the 1935 Argoguruh Dam in Tegineneg, Lampung. (2) analyzing the potential aspects of the 1935 Argoguruh Dam in Tegineneng, Lampung as a source of historical learning, especially local history. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with historical data collection methods and observation methods. The results show that (1) Argoguruh Dam 1935 is a river catchment building as part of an irrigation system that functions to irrigate agricultural land that has been moved from the densely populated island of Java to the still rare island of Sumatra its inhabitants (2) the potential aspects of the Argoguruh Dam 1935 as a source of historical learning include, (a) the contextual historical aspect, (b) the aspect of the building as a historical heritage, (c) the character values that can be developed in history learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru sangat dominan untuk meningkatkan prestasi dan minat peserta didik melalui motivasi, guru selain sebagai tenaga pengajar juga sebagai motivator bagi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi. Peran guru dalam memotivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sejarah kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Metro, adalah sebagai berikut: a. memberikan suasana senang saat awal masuk kelas, b. memberikan nasihat di sela-sela proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, c. menata ruang kelas agar peserta didik nyaman di dalam kelas. Beberapa kendala atau kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Metro, sebagai berikut: a. Saat guru memberikan motivasi ke peserta didik terkadang peserta didik sibuk berbicara dengan peserta didik yang lainnya, b. terkadang peserta didik juga mengganggu teman yang sedang fokus saat pembelajaran, c. Peserta didik tidak memperhatiakan guru saat proses pembelajaran sejarah, d. Peserta didik memiliki karakter yang berbeda-beda. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana cara guru memotivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sejarah kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Metro; guru memberikan suasana senang saat awal masuk kelas, guru memberikan nasehat di sela-sela proses pembelajaran, guru mendekor kelas agar peserta didik nyaman.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dewasa ini kesadaran sejarah di ranah publik mulai meningkat di tengah gencarnya kemajuan teknologi yang serba digital. Keterbaruan yang identik dengan masa kini dan proyeksi masa depan justru mendorong pencarian kembali jati diri manusia dalam dimensi kelampauan. Hal tersebut nampak dari meningkatnya minat publik terhadap sejarah, seperti terlihat dari makin banyaknya diselenggarakan diskusi bertema sejarah, peminat sejarah dari kalangan umum dan dari luar disiplin ilmu sejarah, publikasi ilmiah maupun populer bertema sejarah, hingga terbentuknya komunitas-komunitas pegiat sejarah dengan serangkaian aktivitasnya. Sifatnya yang lebih fleksibel dan kontekstual menjadikan sejarah yang berada dan bersifat publik ini mudah tumbuh dan berkembang serta diterima khalayak publik secara luas. Tulisan ini berusaha memaparkan keberadaan sejarah publik sebagai bentuk pendidikan sejarah bagi masyarakat khususnya di Indonesia, melalui studi literatur dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kajian mengetengahkan bahwa sejarah publik tidak hanya sebagai bentuk pencarian dan penguatan identitas kolektif masyarakat, akan tetapi berperan juga dalam penguatan kesadaran sejarah bagi masyarakat, hal ini bersinergi dengan institusi formal seperti lembaga sekolah yang membelajarkan sejarah bagi peserta didiknya.Abstract: Today's awareness of public history has begun to rise amid the advancement of digital technology. The novelty of the present and future projections are pushing the self-discovery of human beings in the dimension of agility. It is evident from the increasing public interest in history, as seen from the growing number of discussions held in historical themes, historical enthusiasts from the public, and from outside the historical disciplines, scientific publications and popular historical theme, to the creation of community-history activists with a series of activities. Its more flexible and contextual nature makes it easy to grow and develop and the public audience is widely accepted. This paper seeks to expose the existence of public history as a form of historical education for the community, especially in Indonesia, through literature studies and qualitative descriptive analysis. This study uses a qualitative and descriptive literature study method. The results of the study confirm that public history not only a form of search and strengthening of the collective identity of society but also contributes to the strengthening of historical awareness for the society, it synergizes with formal institutions such as school institutions that teach the history of the participants.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the sorogan method in history learning to improve students' historical understanding and historical awareness. The research method used a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, and the sampling technique used a cluster sampling with a sample size of 96 students. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and tests of historical understanding and awareness. Meanwhile, data analysis to determine the effect and differences of the sorogan method to increase understanding and historical awareness using the independent sample t-test and N-gain score test. The results showed that there were a significant influence and difference between the two groups, namely the experimental and control classes based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the hypothesis H0 was rejected with a significance value of 0.000<0.05, further strengthened by the results of the N-gain score test which was included in the criteria low and medium. This means that there is an influence and increase from the implementation of the sorogan method on historical understanding and awareness and getting a positive response from teachers and students, because the sorogan method is student-centered, and the teacher acts as tutorship/mentorship.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between understanding Indonesian history, multiculturalism, and historical awareness with the nationalist attitudes of state high school students in Yogyakarta. This type of research was correlational research with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 126 students. Data collection used tests and questionnaires. The test was used to reveal data about understanding of Indonesian history and multiculturalism, while the questionnaire was used for revealing students’ historical awareness and nationalistic attitudes. The validity of the instrument used a biserial point correlation test and a reliability test with the KR-20 formula. The data then were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The pre-requisite analysis consisted of the normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The hypothesis testing used Product Moment Correlation, multiple correlation, relative contribution, and effective contribution. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between understanding of Indonesian history, multiculturalism, and historical awareness with students' nationalism. History learning will be much more meaningful if these four concepts are used as the objectives of history learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get Movie Maker learning media which can give detailed information about local history material of Megalithic Sites of Pugung Raharjo and also aim to strengthen awareness of local history of class X SMA N 1 Seputih Banyak. This type of research is the development of Level 1 which where in the preparation of this medium with the development method Sugiyono level 1 which only test the feasibility of the product with internal validating stage by the team of experts not to the stage of testing the students, with the preparation must also be adjusted with the analysis KI, KD and the subject matter, after the drafting process is completed then the next stage can be validated internally by a team of material and media experts.Based on the results of research, has obtained media-based visualization of Megalithic sites Pugung Raharjo which has been through the validation phase, validation is a media feasibility test developed, validation is through two stages of stage 1 and 2, which of course there are suggestions and comments for to revise the product again until it reaches the criteria worth at least score 81 and from the data obtained on the validation of material and media experts there score in stages 1 and 2, in stage 1 the material gets a percentage of 81.07% and in stage 2 with the value percentage of 92.84%.While the validation of media experts on stage 1 mstapat value of 84.69% percentage and in stage 2 got a percentage of 90.85%. From the data it can be concluded that the Movie Maker Media of Megalithic Sites Pugung Raharjo has been declared feasible and can be used to reinforce awareness of local history in students and become one of the effective and efficient media.

Abstract

The problem faced in this research is how the influence of GAM-RI conflict is politically and socially on the lives of the people of Aceh especially in 1976-2012.The purpose of this study is to describe how the GAM-RI conflict, as well as explaining the influence of Aceh community in political and social fields. While this study is a historical study. In this study, using the methods of literary study. Data collection techniques in this study using the steps that heuristic and literature study. In testing the correctness of the data or the validity of data collection used internal and external criticism, while for the method of data analysis is the interpretation and historiography. Based on the research activities have been implemented, the effect of GAM-RI conflict in 1976-2012 in the field of politics is the enactment of the Military Operations Area and Military Emergency in Aceh as well as the emergence of Local Political Parties in Aceh. While the influence of the social field is to start the collapse of traditional values and norms that exist in Aceh and the change in attitude due to the impact felt by the people of Aceh conflict.
