Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze (1) the profile of learning independence, and (2) the effect of parental communication and confidence in student learning independence. This study uses quantitative expost-facto. The study was conducted on students of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), FKIP Universitas Mataram. The sample consisted of 66 students from 2 different classes and determined by purposive sampling. Data collection uses a closed questionnaire. Analysis of learning independence profiles using descriptive statistics, namely percentages. The influence of parental communication and self-confidence were analyzed using correlation and regression. The results showed that students' learning independence can be grouped into 5 categories: very good (68.18%), better (27.27%), good (1.51%), more than adequate (1.51%), and less (1.51%). The results of the correlation analysis of linear regression showed that the effect of self-confidence was higher (R = 0.553) compared to the effect of parental communication on student self-reliant learning (R = 0.451). This means that self-confidence gives an effect of 55.30%, and parental communication of 45.10% on the formation of student learning independence.       Keywords: Parental Communication, Self Confidence and Learning IndependenceTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis (1) profil kemandirian belajar, dan (2) pengaruh komunikasi orang tua dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif expost-facto. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD), FKIP Universitas Mataram. Sampel berjumlah 66 mahasiswa dari 2 kelas berbeda dan ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup. Analisis profil kemandirian belajar menggunakan statistik deskriptif yaitu persentase. Pengaruh komunikasi orang tua dan kepercayaan diri dianalisis menggunakan korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar mahasiswa dapat dikelompokkan menjadi 5 kategori yaitu sangat baik (68.18%), lebih baik (27.27%), baik (1.51%), lebih dari cukup (1.51%), dan kurang (1.51%). Hasil analisis korelasi dari regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kepercayaan diri lebih tinggi (R = 0.553) dibandingkan dengan pengaruh komunikasi orang tua terhadap kamandirian belajar mahasiswa (R = 0.451). Artinya bahwa kepercayaan diri memberikan pengaruh sebesar 55.30%, dan komunikasi orang tua sebesar 45.10% terhadap pembentukan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Komunikasi Orangtua, Kepercayaan diri dan Kemandirian Belajar

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu sekolah terutama dalam proses pengajaran guna meningkatkan budaya literasi siswa melalui kegiatan pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya tenaga guru yang mengajar di SDI “AMANAH” Kekait, serta rendahnya budaya literasi siswa sehingga mendasari untuk dilaksanakan pengabdian dalam hal pendidikan dan pengajaran.  Kegiatan ini melibatkan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam HMPS dengan jumlah 85 orang beserta 7 orang dosen pembimbing. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan ini adalah service learning dengan melaksanakan pengabdian melalui pengajaran guna meningkatkan budaya literasi siswa. Kegiatan ini juga dirangkai dengan kegiatan bakti sosial berupa pemberian bantuan kepada sekolah berupa papan nama sekolah. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini di antaranya sebagai berikut: Pertama, Sekolah dapat terbantu dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kedua, budaya literasi yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran mudah-mudahan dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dan dapat menjadi kebiasaan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Ketiga, mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini dapat merasakan berbaur dengan masyarakat secara langsung dan dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu yang telah di pelajari di kampus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the exploration of ethnomathematics of Sasak culture that can be used as a source of learning mathematics. This type of research is exploratory qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research focuses on buildings, crafts, arts, and traditional snacks. The research instrument is the researcher himself. While the method of data collection by interview, field studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with triangulation are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Sasak cultural products can be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially on the elements of geometry including rectangles, triangles, trapezoid, circles, rhombus, laying-kites, cones, cylinders, and pyramid. Learning resources derived from Sasak culture, if properly utilized, will create meaningful mathematics learning for students.

Abstract

Interactive student worksheets are a very important part of learning media to support the learning process to achieve the expected goals. The use of the liveworksheets site is one way to develop interactive worksheets so that online learning can run well. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge to teachers to take advantage of the free liveworksheets site to develop interactive worksheets so that the obstacles to teaching and learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic can be overcome. The method of implementing this service begins with observations to partner schools before the implementation of training activities to discuss the time and need for facilities and infrastructure. Then during the training, the activity begins with the provision of material related to interactive student worksheets and how to create interactive student worksheets using the live worksheet site. Furthermore, assistance is provided during practice for teachers or training participants. The results of this service can be said to be successful, as seen from the enthusiasm of the teacher listening to the material and the practice of making interactive worksheets questions. The types of questions that were successfully practiced by the participants were the types of multiple-choice questions, short entries, descriptions, join arrows, dropdowns, drag and drop, checkboxes, word search, and listening and speaking questions. Therefore, with the increasing ability of teachers to create interactive worksheets, it is hoped that teachers can develop more perfect interactive worksheets that are made according to the needs of students. In addition, the knowledge that has been obtained from this training is expected for teachers to share their knowledge and knowledge with other teachers.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan hendak mengelaborasi sejumlah pemikiran dan konsep yang meyakini pentingnya pembelajaran berbasis daring dalam rangka mewujudkan kemandirian belajar dan sebagai respon perkembangan informasi dan teknologi yang cepat pada era industri 4.0. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan cara mengumpulkan literatur (bahan-bahan materi) yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber lainnya terkait dengan pembelajaran daring dan kemandirian belajar. Hasil kajian menyimpulkan bahwa model pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis daring terdiri atas: (1) model daring yang hanya melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa sebagai peserta; (2) model daring yang melibatkan tiga pihak, yaitu mahasiswa, mentor, dan dosen. Pada kedua model tersebut dapat terjadi interaksi secara synchronous, yakni  interaksi belajar pada waktu yang bersamaan seperti dengan menggunakan video call, telepon atau live chat. Interaksi juga dapat terlaksana dengan cara asynchronous, yakni interaksi belajar pada waktu yang tidak bersamaan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah disediakan secara elektronik dengan menggunakan forum atau message. Dengan adanya pembelajaran berbasis daring, nmahasiswa atau peserta lebih mandiri belajar dengan kata lain senantiasa tidak tergantung kepada orang lain, menetapkan tujuan belajar, mendiagno­sis kebutuhan belajar, memiliki rasa percaya diri dan tanggung jawab serta mel­akukan evaluasi diri

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic forces all learning activities to be carried out online. College sports lessons are also conducted online. This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness of students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection using a survey. The instrument used was a performing test. Indicators of student physical fitness can be seen from the non-locomotor motion of standing stork and sit and reach. The research sample was 30 students. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the physical fitness of students during the Covid-19 pandemic when viewed from their non-locomotor ability to move was in the poor category. This can be seen from the low results of student body balance and flexibility tests.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the problems of various community behaviors in facing the threat of COVID-19, especially of farmworkers on the PGL sub-district, Bdg district. The basic reason for this research is that in the midst of the government's great efforts to suppress the spread of this virus by limiting community activities, both social distancing and suggestions to stay at home in various areas, the people of PGL sub-district, especially farmers and farm laborers, are still carrying out their activities. like before the COVID-19 pandemic. The descriptive method is used in this research. Observations were made with interview techniques and documentation because they were very appropriate for studying descriptive social problems such as this research. The reasons for farmers and farm laborers to continue their activities are: First, farm workers in PGL think that the COVID-19 pandemic will not hit their area, they believe they will remain healthy because of their work patterns that are outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight. The two economic factors and difficulties in fulfilling the necessities of life, the third is the lack of public awareness farmworkers about the dangers of COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaji permasalahan tentang berbagai perilaku masyarakat dalam menghadapi ancaman COVID-19 terutama masyarakat kalangan buruh tani yang berada di kawasan kecamatan PGL kabupaten Bdg. Alasan mendasar dari penelitian ini adalah di tengah usaha pemerintah yang begitu besar dalam upaya menekan penyebaran virus ini dengan membatasi aktivitas masyarakat baik social distancing ataupun anjuran untuk stay at home di berbagai wilayah, tetapi masyarakat kecamatan PGL khususnya pada kalangan petani dan buruh tani masih menjalankan aktivitasnya seperti sebelum terjadi pandemi COVID-19. Metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, dan dokumentasi karena sangat tepat untuk mengkaji permasalahan sosial yang bersifat deskripsi seperti penelitian ini. Alasan para buruh tani tetap beraktivitas adalah: Pertama, buruh tani di PGL beranggapan pandemik COVID-19 tidak akan melanda wilayahnya, mereka berkeyakinan tetap sehat karena pola kerja mereka yang berada di luar ruangan dan terkena sinar matahari langsung. Kedua, faktor ekonomi dan kesulitan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup; ketiga, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat kalangan buruh tani akan bahaya dari COVID-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process for children learning difficulties in inclusive schools in elementary schools. This research is qualitative research with a case-study approach. The study was conducted at SDN 1 Sangkawana Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency. Subjects in this study were the Principal, Low - grade teacher Data collection through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed using the Spiral Analysis model developed by Creswell. Research Findings that teacher competencies in the service of children with learning difficulties need to be possessed. The teacher is a determinant of the success of the learning process especially for children with learning difficulties who need more guidance in learning. In general, the learning process for children with learning difficulties in inclusive schools is the same as regular schools. The difference is in the provision of learning activities and services that are more remedial. This is done starting from the teacher doing adaptation in designing the Learning Implementation lesson plan by the circumstances of the students

Abstract

Kegiatan kemah Bakti Masyarak (KBM) merupakan kegiatan tahunan yang dilakukan oleh HMPS PGSD Universitas Mataram. Tujuan kegiatan KBM ini adalah membantu masyarakat desa mitra dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan di desa mitra tersebut dengan cara mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter yang diperoleh oleh mahasiswa HMPS PGSD Universitas Mataram di dalam perkuliahan. Kegiatan KBM dilakukan di dusun Batu Pasir. Kegiatan KBM berlangsung selama seminggu. metode yang dilakukan mahasiswa sebelum melakukan KBM adalah survey lokasi, wawancara dengan perangkat masyarakat dan diakhiri dengan meminta ijin kepada perangkat masyarakat untuk melakukan KBM. Adapun permasalahan yang terdapat di desa mitra ini adalah kurangnya guru membaca Al-Quran, pembangunan mushola dusun, serta perbaikan fasilitas MCK. Program KBM dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi Bersama mahasiswa HMPS dan dibantu oleh unsur masyarakat. Kegiatan berlangsung dengan lancar dan berhasil. Hal ini diperoleh dengan melalui hasil wawancara dengan perangkat dusun serta masyarakat sekitar yang merasa terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan KBM yang dilaksanakan di dusun Batu Pasir.

Abstract

Character education is indeed being echoed by the government lately, due to the emergence of problems with juvenile delinquency cases that often color the mass media, ranging from drug cases, free sex to brawls to the warmest case yesterday, namely a student killing his teacher. So that character education is included in the national education curriculum even though its implementation has not been maximized. One of the character education that needs to be formed and grown in children is the character value of hard work and love for the homeland. The value of hard work needs to be taught to children and young people so that they can appreciate every struggle of their parents who seek sustenance for them so that they become more diligent in studying, devoted and so on. Likewise, love for the homeland is no less urgent, especially now that Indonesia is being threatened with the issue of division due to Indonesia's diversity which consists of various ethnicities, races and religions. Therefore, this love for the homeland needs to be instilled into the next generation as the pillar of the nation's successor relay
