Abstract

This article describes students perceptions on UT Online services, level of student participation in the UT Online services, and the influence of UT Online services to students participation in 2012.1. Total tespondents was 120 students. Data analysis was done by using the frequency distribution and the average (mean). The influence to UT Online services was analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the descriptive and quantitative analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) the majority of UT students said that the quality of UT online bookstore online and TAP / online tutorial is good. (2) Participation of students to UT online services ( online bookstore or TAP / tutorials online ) good. (3) Quality of service Tutorial / TAP online significant effect on student participation. Artikel ini menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap layanan Universitas Terbuka online, tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa terhadap layanan UT online, dan pengaruh kualitas layanan UT online terhadap partisipasi mahasiswa program non pendidikan dasar UPBJJ-UT Palembang pada masa ujian 2012.1. Jumlah responden 120 orang mahasiswa. Analisis data akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan nilai rata-rata (mean). Untuk melihat pengaruh kualitas layanan UT online terhadap partisipasi mahasiswa digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif maupun kuantitatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) sebagian besar mahasiswa UT mengatakan bahwa kualitas layanan UT online baik toko buku online maupun TAP/tutorial onlinetergolong baik. (2) Partisipasi mahasiswa terhadap layanan UT online (toko buku online maupun TAP/tutorial online) secara keseluruhan baik. (3) Kualitas layanan Tutorial/TAP online berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi mahasiswa program non pendidikan dasar UPBJJ-UT Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran penyuluh pertanian, mengukur partisipasi petani, mengukur pendapatan petani sebelum dan sesudah adanya program FEATI, mengukur hubungan peran partisipasi petani pada FEATI dengan tingkat pendapatan petani. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Seterio, Desa Purwosari dan Desa Lubuk Saung Kecamatan Banyuasin III Kabupaten Banyuasin dengan menggunakan metode survei yang terdiri dari 25 peserta Farmers Managed extension Activities (FMA) yang dipilih secara sensus, sehingga sampel seluruhnya adalah 75 peserta FMA. Analisis data menggunakan statistika non parametrik, yaitu: uji koefisien peringkat spearman dan uji beda nilai tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) dalam program FEATI di Kecamatan Banyuasin III Kabupaten Banyuasin, termasuk kategori tinggi dengan nilai skor rata-rata = 26, partisipasi petani sampel dalam program FEATI di Kecamatan Banyuasin III Kabupaten Banyuasin termasuk kategori tinggi (71%), pendapatan petani di KecamatanBanyuasin III Kabupaten Banyuasin mengalami peningkatan, di mana pendapatan riil petani sampel sebelum program FEATI tahun 2009 dari Rp.20.191.840,- per tahun meningkat menjadi Rp.33.561.368,- pertahun setelah adanya program FEATI tahun 2010, terdapat hubungan antara partispasi petani dalam program FEATI dengan pendapatan petani, koefisien korelasi Spearman (rs) = 0,913, artinya semakin tinggi tingkat partisipasi, semakin tinggi pendapatan petani.

Abstract

This article defined some informations about the total ammount of Koran Masuk Nagari (KMN) Padang Pariaman where this news is very famous for local people. It also has many functions such as to measure a main message on the news, to measure the level of content messages in distribution, and identify some problems, which will be happened on distribution.The research were implemented in Kecamatan South Pariaman and used 57 house hold samples. Hence, I used qualitaitive method which has category in descriptive analysis. The most favourite information is about religion (21,44%), and the capability of understanding content of messages has got the lowest point (2). Because of KMN had not some special cars and staffs to distribute the news, therefore the distribution from publisher to people always be late and this is a classic problem for KMN to expand. The conclusion from this research showed that KMN Padang Pariaman was effective to improve the local people interest to read it. And the fact KMN is always be waited by people in Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

Community Service Program is done based on problems encountered by Primary School and Early Childhood Education Teachers in Riau Municipality and Province. Therefore, in order to maintain the sustainability of science education through practicum/experiment, then simple Educational Props alternative of Natural Sciences needs to be developed whose provision is easier and affordable and utilization is simple because it is not easily broken. Based on several problems identified, then solution that would be formulated was counselling and assistance in making educational props such as making educational props from secondhand goods, environment, and kahoot application as interesting memorable learning media for Primary School and Early Childhood Education Teachers in Pekanbaru. The service activities was Participatory Action Research (PAR) that was conducted through descriptive approach method. Based on the result of the activities, it can be considered as successfully overcoming the problem proven by the high teachers’ participation in participating in the training and the successfulness of the teachers in developing the educational props.

Abstract

Instrument penelitian mempunyai pengaruh yang besar dalam sebuah penelitian karena disitulah letak sebuah kebenaran dalamhasil penelitia. Ketika instrument penelitian salah maka dapat dipastikan instrument tersebut tidak bias mengukur apa yang seharusnya diukur. Instrmen berguna untuk mengambil data pada penelitian yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menguji kembali instrumen yang valid dan konsisten serta reliabel dalam memberikan data hasil penelitian berkaitan dengan kemampuan berpikir inventif siswa. Hal ini perlu dilakukan karena perbedaan gender Dalam penelitian ini, berpikir inventif terdiri dari enam konstruk, yaitu: : 1) Fleksibel, 2) Regulasi diri, 3)Ingin tahu, 4) kreativitas, 5) Pengambilan resiko, 6) Pemikir Tinggi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang melibatkan 30 responden dari siswa kelas IV MI Aulia Cendekia Pekanbaru. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS Versi 24.00 for Windows validitas dan reabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa semua item kuisioner valid dan reliabel dengan nilai realibilitas seluruh kajian konstruk Cronbach Alpha yang tinggi (0.935 > 0.6). Dengan demikian, angka tersebut memberikan informasi bahwa penelitian ini telah menghasilkan instrumen yang berkualitas yang dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi penguasaan siswa terhadap berpikir inventif pada proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran di MI Aulia Cendekia Pekanbaru

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop non-test instrument or questionnaire to measure the evaluation of the use of Webtoon among the students of Open University in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia and to obtain the instrument’s validity and reliability. This research employed the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) instructional model. The data were collected using online questionnaire. There were 55 respondents participated in this research. The data collected were analyzed descriptively using SPSS program version 23.00 for windows. The result of the data analysis indicated that the instrument has the percentage of agreement result of 82.75% (valid) and Cronbach alpha with score 0.942 (reliable). The data proved that the instrument has very feasible. This result showed that this research and development produced Webtoon non-test instrument which is valid and reliable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strengthening of the 21st Century Skills of UPBJJ Pekanbaru and Pangkal Pinang students in dealing with the ASEAN economic community (MEA). The 21st Century Skills strengthening study was motivated by the low competition in economic politics in Indonesia. The study involved 379 students selected based on study programs at the Pekanbaru Open University and Pangkal Pinang. Data in the form of opinions and statements were collected using a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire and essay. Data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that UPBJJ Pekanbaru and Pangkal Pinang students were qualitatively ready to perform 21st-century skills, including digital era literacy, inventive thinking, memorable communication, high productivity, and spiritual norms and values. Based on quantitative data, there is no significant difference in strengthening the 21st Century Skills of UPBJJ Pekanbaru and Pangkal Pinang students.

Abstract

This study aimed to map and to develop Multiple Intelligences for basic education tutors in Universitas Terbuka. This study was a survey research with a sample of 193 tutors consisted of 101 men (52.33%) and 92 women (47.67%). The instrument used was the Multiple Intelligences Survey consisted of nine constructs with an average alpha croanbach value of 0.859 with high criteria. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in multiple intelligence based on gender, work base, number of institutions, age, length of service, and ethnicity. The study also showed that there were significant relationships between physical/kinesthetic, existential/spiritual, interpersonal, intrapersonal, logical/mathematical thinking, musical/rhythmic, naturalistic, verbal/linguistic, and visual/spatial. Judging from the value of the correlation coefficient, kinesthetic intelligence and interpersonal intelligence have the highest value of 0.881. This research could be used to develop the human resources of educators, especially Tutors, in increasing their multiple intelligences for universities and the government. This study suggested the importance of increasing the multiple intelligences of tutors or educators in the the management in universities or the government. For this reason, educational institutions already have educators with good interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence, and feel the need to increase the intelligence in the aspect of naturalistic intelligence, for example, by conducting family gathering events that interact directly with the nature. This study is different with the previous studies with a similar theme regarding the research sample. This research produced valuable policy recommendations for the management at Universitas Terbuka and the government to do the mapping and how to increase the multiple intelligences of educators to be ready to face the challenges and opportunities. On the other hand, illustrates that men and women have the same opportunity in mastering this multiple intelligences

Abstract

Penelititan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi alternative dan menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif agar terlaksananya kegiatan praktikum dengan pembuatan media praktikum seperti alat uji larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit di tingkat SMA/MAN untuk mengembangkan potensi keterampilan proses sains pada siswa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan permasalahan ada pada proses praktikum di sekolah yang minim dalam penggunaan fasilitas laboratorium juga sarana prasarana dan pendukung kegiatan laboratorium lainnya. Solusi yang didapatkan dalam permasalahan ini adalah dengan memberikan pengalaman siswa SMA/ MA dengan cara membuat langsung media praktikum sederhada dengan benar. Konsep keterampilan proses sains adalah satu dari berbagai keterampilan pembelajaran sains bukan sekedar menekankan pada penyampaian konsep,tapi juga bergantung proses menemukan konsep sains dan dilakukan oleh siswa secara mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang didesain yaitu modul pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit dan juga media yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori valid, efektif dan praktis serta berkualitas sangat baik agar diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran dan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains pada siswa SMA/MA
