Abstract

The pandemic causes children to be unable to socialize and develop their knowledge and social emotions to the fullest. One of the efforts to continue to increase knowledge and social emotions in children is through reading containing children's literature. One of the media for reading children's literature is Riri Story Books. as a reading medium, this application has several features and content that can increase children's interest in reading literature. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The use of this method is considered very appropriate because the research data will be described descriptively using words. To obtain research data, researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and literature study. Some of these data collection techniques are considered very appropriate because they support qualitative research designs and help researchers obtain research data more easily. In this study, the theory of the criteria for illustrated stories was used to determine the type and criteria of media for reading children's stories that were appropriate to be used during the pandemic. This study aims to provide information and knowledge related to the media for reading children's literature during the pandemic so that children can still receive content that helps them adapt to the pandemic. Abstract

This study intends to describe the benefits of using folklore board media in improving the speaking skills of BIPA students from Thailand. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method which will produce data in the form of a series of words that will form paragraph by paragraph. The data in this study is the use of folklore board media. Data acquisition is done by direct observation. The source of this research is focused on a series of BIPA learning processes with Thai students. The research subjects were BIPA students who joined the learning program carried out by the author. Data collection is in the form of listening and note-taking techniques. The results showed that the folklore board media provided benefits as a means of introducing Indonesian culture in the sociocultural aspect. The benefits of the folklore board media are as follows: (1) learning is packaged in an attractive and communicative way, (2) students are more active in learning, (3) a means of introducing culture, (4) innovation of new and meaningful teaching materials, (5) making it easier for students in his memory. Abstract

One of the efforts made to introduce the charm, uniqueness and diversity of the Indonesian nation to audiences from various parts of the world is through BIPA teaching by utilizing the use of puppet media, the puppet media itself is used with the main objective of introducing great figures from Indonesia. Indonesian nation. Descriptive qualitative method is the method used by the author in this study. The material provided in the lesson has certainly been adapted to the standard of advanced level learners with BIPA Level VI teaching with the topic of discussion material "Biography of Characters" and using puppet media as a means of delivering material to introduce great figures of the Indonesian nation such as President Soekarno, President Soeharto, KH Ahmad Dahlan, RA Kartini and other great figures. In general, the implementation of BIPA Level VI learning activities using puppet media as a means that can be used to introduce Indonesian figures is quite good, the students are enthusiastic to ask questions about many things related to the biographies of the characters presented. and effective for both teachers and learners. Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Dharma Karya UT Kota Tangerang Selatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Dharma Karya UT pada kelas XI tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Kelas yang dipilih ialah kelas XI MIA 1 berdasarkan sampel yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 yang berjumlah 21 siswa yang terdiri atas 10 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa esai sebanyak 3 soal untuk keseluruhan pra siklus, siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model discovery learning berbantuan media audiovisual. Hasil penelitian menggunakan rumus rata-rata yaitu terjadi peningkatan pra siklus 65,5 siklus I 75,7, dan siklus II 81,8. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning dengan berbantuan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Dharma Karya UT.

Abstract

Moral values are very influential in the world of socializing in society. Moral becomes an assessment of someone to find out their behavior, including in the education field. This study aims to explain moral values contained in the short story by Nurul Husniyah entitled Maya prosthetic feet and its implementation in literature learning in elementary schools. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data was conducted by employing library research techniques by determining the object of research, presenting data, analyzing, compiling, and drawing conclusions from the analysis of moral values and their implementation. The results of the analysis show that there are several moral values contained in this short story to be implemented in elementary schools. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are moral values, such as the value of never giving up, mutual respect, sympathy, self-confidence, and independence. Implementation in elementary schools can be done by doing something different from activities that are usually implemented in schools, such as language month activities and watching theater

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbantuan kahoot dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi kelas x bertujuan  untuk meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya keterampilan menulis. Pada saat pandemi covid-19 proses belajar mengajar tidak lagi dilakukan di kelas melainkan di rumah masing-masing dengan pembelajaran daring, sehingga pengajar dituntut untuk kreatif dalam menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran yang dapat membangun suasana belajar yang efektif agar tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbantuan kahoot ini telah diterapkan pada kelas x SMA Triguna Utama bertujuan membangun minat belajar siswa pada keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi pada pembelajaran daring. Hasil dari penelitian adalah kefektifan pada saat pembelajaran daring dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbantuan kahoot dan juga nilai tes siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dan mencapai KKM yang ditentukan sekolah.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ilmiah melalui pendekatan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta tahun akademik 2019/2020. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membuat tulisan ilmiah, peneliti memberikan tes produk (membuat karya ilmiah) pada siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Sebelum memberikan tes pada siklus kedua, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif kepada mahasiswa. Terdapat beberapa jenis kesalahan di antaranya dalam hal gramatikal dan leksikal. Pada siklus pertama, untuk aspek gramatikal sebesar 78,25% dan persentasi kesalahan siklus kedua menjadi 18,25% yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sekitar 60%. Sedangkan untuk aspek leksikal siklus pertama sebesar 77,5%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua berkurang menjadi 12,5%. Dengan demikian dalam hal menulis ilmiah menunjukan adanya peningkatan dalam poin leksikal sebesar 65%.  Hasil tes pada siklus kedua menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis ilmiah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif. Kata kunci: karya ilmiah, pendekatan kolaboratif, keterampilan menulisABSTRACTThis research aims to improve scientific writing learning through collaborative learning approach. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta in the academic year 2019/2020. To find out the improvement of the students' scientific writing skill, the researchers implemented product tests (making scientific work) in the first cycle and the second cycle. Before giving the test in the second cycle, researchers used collaborative learning for students. There are several types in grammatical and lexical errors. In the first cycle, the grammatical aspect was 78.25% and the percentage of error in the second cycle was 18.25% which showed a percentage increase of around 60%. Whereas for the first cycle aspect, it was 77.5%, while in the second cycle it decreased to 12.5%. Thus in terms of scientific writing shows an increase in lexical points by 65%. The test results in the second cycle showed an increase in scientific writing skills using collaborative learning approach.Keywords: scientific work, collaborative learning, writing skills

Abstract

Moral Values in Guru Aini Written by Andrea Hirata ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berisi tentang nilai-nilai Akhlak Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Nilai akhlak menjadi fokus utama pada penelitian ini karena akhlak merupakan salah satu pondasi dasar dari sifat manusia yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan perilaku manusia dengan Tuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai nilai-nilai akhlak berupa nilai takwa, tawakal, kejujuran, keikhlasan, sabar  dan syukur dari novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Novel tersebut memiliki nilai akhlak yang perlu diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat serta menjadi khazanah keilmuan berkaitan antara agama dan sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan analisis isi. Metode kualitatif ini dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau atau isi komunikasi berupa percakapan, teks tertulis, dan fotografi. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini terdapat 6 kutipan dari nilai takwal, 14 kutipan nilai tawakal, 18 kutipan dari nilai kejujuran, 4 kutipan dari nilai keikhlasan, 1 kutipan dari nilai sabar, dan 14 kutipan dari nilai syukur. Kata kunci: Nilai-nilai akhlak, karya sastra, novelABSTRACTThis study contains moral values based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The value of akhlak (moral) is the main focus of this research because it is one of the basic foundations of human nature which is very closely related to human behavior with God. This study aims to gain deep understanding of akhlak (moral) values in the form value of piety/morals, resignation/never giving up, honesty, sincerity, patience and gratitude from the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The novel has a moral value that needs to be applied in social life and becomes a scientific treasure related to religion and literature. This research uses qualitative method and content analysis approach, this qualitative method can produce descriptive data in the form of written words or communication content in the form of conversation, written text, and photography. Abstract

Penelitian ini saya angkat atau di analisis dengan latar belakang minat baca anak-anak yang berada di daerah perkotaan untuk saat ini kurang menggembirakan, karena dari berbagai fakta terkait minat baca pada anak-anak masih rendah, karena minat baca dongeng untuk anak-anak masih bergantung dengan media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media pembelajaran terhadap minat baca dongeng anak yang ada di daerah perkotaan, dan penelitian ini di ambil dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan cara mengumpulkan data, dan data tersebut di teliti dan di analisis menggunakan teknik observasi. Hasil penelitian yang saya lakukan menunjukkan media pembelajaran dengan media audio visual banyak di minati oleh anak-anak dalam minat baca terhadap cerita dongeng.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKajian pendekatan semiotika adalah kajian yang mengkaji tentang sebuah tanda atau sekumpulan tanda-tanda. Semua hal yang berkaitan dengan karya sastra dapat  menampilkan tanda-tanda. Tanda-tanda tersebut dapat kita dilihat dari penggunaan Bahasa yang telah dituangkan dalam karya sastra tersebut. Tanda-tanda dalam karya sastra harus dibuat untuk menemukan makna yang ingin disampaikan oleh penulis kepada pembaca. Pada pendekatan semiotika, penikmat karya sastra dapat mengetahui amanat atau tujuan penulis menulis cerita pendek anak yang berjudul Ke Hutan karya Yosep Rustandi. Pastinya, pengarang tidak akan menampilkan secara jelas, maka dari itu dibuatlah penelitian mengenai pendekatan semiotika yang dilakukan untuk menemukan tanda-tanda tersembunyi dalam karya sastra tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semiotika yang dikemukakan oleh Roland Barthes. Barthes berpendapat bahwa ada lima kode dalam pendekatan  semiotik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif di mana teknik pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan membaca dan mencatat hasil yang didapat, sehingga hal ini akan mendapatkan makna dari setiap kode dalam cerpen Ke Hutan karya Yosep Rustandi.Kata Kunci: karya sastra; semiotika; kode semiotika
