Abstract

In Indonesia, the number of diabetics is increasing. In term of age, people suffered diabetes at the age of 20-79 years old in the past, but now young people also suffer it. Some of the attempts to contain uncontrollable effects of diabetes are to implement healthy lifestyle and to control type or amount of consumed foods. One type of product to ease the risks of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is dairy product, and its derivatives.  One example of the product is probiotic. This research is intended to design yoghurt product for diabetic consumption, using quality function deployment (QFD) and fuzzy Analythical hierarchy process (fuzzy AHP) methods. This research shows that the technical responses, that serve the priority to develop probiotic product for diabetics, are the use of low-calorie sugar and skimmed milk, and the addition of high-fiber ingredients.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises is one of the essential sectors for an economy in a state. The existence of centre can ease the occurrence of new businesses with the availability of productive resources in industry sector. Industry centre it self aims to cluster several businesses which have similar natures. Technology components (technoware, humanware, inforware, orgaware) are a way to assess to what extent an industry centre can develop. The aims of the research are the influence of technology components to the development industry centre and to get some additional values from production process. The respondents in this study are 33 industries in Kedungrejo industry centre. Partial Least Squares (PLS) is used as the data analysis method. PLS method can be used in every scale of data and the sample does not have to be in large amount. The result gained by analyzing with PLS is that among, technoware is the technology compenent which has highest influence to the development of industry centre. The score of this compenent is 0,520 ant the margin of product additional value is IDR 82,500.Keywords : Industrial districts, Technology components, PLS.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sikap konsumen terhadap kopi bubuk Sido Luhur serta mengetahui kinerja atribut kopi bubuk Sido Luhur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Model Sikap Fishbein dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Penelitian ini menggunakan 9 atribut produk berdasarkan studi literatur penelitian terdahulu, yakni aroma, rasa, ketersediaan, harga, bahan kemasan, desain kemasan, ukuran kemasan, umur simpan dan desain label. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sikap konsumen terhadap atribut-atribut kopi bubuk Sido Luhur tersebut tidak ada yang negatif. Nilai sikap untuk atribut aroma 18,57 (positif), rasa 20,70 (positif), ketersediaan 17,12 (positif), harga 15,25 (netral), bahan kemasan 15,36 (netral), desain kemasan 14,32 (netral), ukuran kemasan 15,42 (positif), umur simpan 16,04 (positif) dan desain label 13,21 (netral). Nilai sikap konsumen terhadap kopi bubuk Sido Luhur secara keseluruhan adalah positif, yakni dengan nilai 145,99. Kinerja atribut kopi bubuk Sido Luhur yang masuk ke dalam kuadran I (prioritas utama) adalah harga dan ketersediaan. Atribut yang masuk ke dalam kuadran II (pertahankan prestasi) adalah rasa dan aroma. Atribut yang masuk ke dalam kuadran III (prioritas rendah) adalah bahan kemasan, desain kemasan dan desain label. Sedangkan atribut yang masuk ke dalam kuadran IV (berlebihan) adalah atribut ukuran kemasan dan umur simpan/tanggal kedaluarsa.Kata Kunci: IPA, Kinerja Atribut, Kopi Bubuk, Model Sikap Fishbein, SikapAbstract The purpose of this study is to determine consumer attitudes toward Sido Luhur coffee powder and to know the performance of attributes of Sido Luhur coffee powder. The method used in the study is the Fishbein Attitude Model and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). This research uses nine attributes of a product based on literature study of previous studies, those are aroma, flavor, availability, price, package material, package design, package size, shelf life and label design. Based on this research, consumer attitudes toward attributes of Sido Luhur coffee powder is not negative. The attitude value of aroma’s attribute is 18.57 (positive), flavor 20.70 (positive), availability 17.12 (positive), price 15.25 (neutral), package material 15.36 (neutral), package design 14.32 (neutral), package size 15.42 (positive), shelf life 16.04 (positive) and label design 13.21 (neutral). The value of consumer attitudes toward the Sido Luhur coffee powder overall is positive, that is with the value of 145.99. Performance of attributes Sido Luhur coffee powder which included into the first quadrant (principal priority) is price and availability. Attributes that included into the second quadrant (keep achievement) is flavor and aroma. Attributes that included into the third quadrant (lower priority) is package material, package design and label design. Abstract

The use of strategic planning can be an alternative solution to improve industrial performance. In small and medium scale industries especially in apple chips industries, strategic planning helps to know the current industry situation and the steps that must be taken to overcome the existing problems. This study aimed to develop an improvement strategies using Fuzzy Sequential Modeling (FSM) model. FSM model was consisted a SWOT analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Bolden’s Taxonomy and fuzzy AHP. Based on SWOT analysis, the external factors of threats was the similar business competition and low purchasing power. RCA described the issues that needed to be fixed using Bolden’s Taxonomy as the reference for determining the action plans and produce four OIA (Open Improvement Area) there are old technology machines and equipment, difficulty of enterprise development, ineffective marketing media and low market share. The strategic planning was determined using Fuzzy AHP based on OIA and ABC enterprise needs to improve the low market share and ineffective marketing strategy.

Abstract

The home industry for processing corn products into corn chips in Malang City includes  Sinar SME and Berkah SME. they both still do not have attractive, innovative and creative packaging designs. The packaging used has not been able to protect the product during the transportation process, and the design is less attractive. Corn chips produced by Sinar and Berkah SME’s did not have a variety flavors of products. This can have an impact on market saturation and reduce sales. There is still a lack of ability in both SME’s people in mastering technology and hygiene. Improvement efforts were made by improving the packaging design of Sinar and Berkah SME’s. The variety of corn chips that can be done to attract consumer appeal is to add a level of spiciness. Technology transfer is carried out in frying equipment and packaging activities using a pedal sealer machine.

Abstract

Supply chain has a principal role in supporting the development of milk processing industry. The supply chain of the dairy industry in Indonesia involves a number of actors and a variety of dairy handling that may lead into potential risks and failures. One of the risks affecting supply chain performance is the adulteration of raw materials. This condition can possibly result in the occurrence of chain’s effect. Thus, it is necessary to build a dynamic model to handle such problems. Dynamic modeling was used in this study. For the initial phase, determination of supply chain risk factor was investigated. Second, modeling of supply chain mitigation risk was conducted by using dynamic system. Dynamic models were used to analyse complex problems with many variables involved. The problem analysis results were modeled in a dynamic system that has an aim to reduce the risk of adulteration. This research has successfully constructed a model consisted of one main variable that can potentially reduce the risk. The foremost recommended strategy was to improve the transparency of supply chain management.

Abstract

Abstract Cleaner production (CP) is one of the sustainable implementations of a comprehensive preventive environmental strategy involving company processes, products, and services. CP plan implementation still faces obstacles, such as the lack of detailed information, tools, and techniques. This study aimed to determine the variables and to select alternative solutions for cleaner production at a fruit chip industry using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The research was carried out at PT Agrijaya Indotirta in Malang, East Java. The production process at this company generates waste from the consumption of energy, water, materials, and raw materials. Energy and water consumption are disposed directly without preliminary recycling process. Used oil is sold, and the remaining fruit seeds are sold for seeds. Checklists are used for problem identification, while fishbone diagrams and the 5W1H method are used to solve the problem of getting the best solution from the available alternatives. The weighting results of the alternative solutions using the AHP method show that the application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) (with a weight of 0.287080) on the human resource criteria (with a weight of 0.63699) is a suitable alternative solution for the CP application of fruit chips production at PT Agrijaya Indotirta. Cleaner production can be performed by improving the capacity of human resources as production actors and regulators of proper waste management.Keywords: Analitycal Hierarchy Process, cleaner production, fruit chips, waste handling AbstrakSalah satu implementasi berkelanjutan dari strategi lingkungan preventif komprehensif yang melibatkan proses, produk, dan layanan perusahaan adalah penerapan cleaner production (CP). Implementasi rencana CP masih menghadapi kendala, seperti informasi yang kurang rinci, alat, dan teknik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan variabel dan pemilihan alternatif solusi cleaner production pada produksi keripik di sebuah industri keripik buah dengan menggunakan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian dilakukan di PT Agrijaya Indotirta, Malang, Jawa Timur. Proses produksi pada perusahaan tersebut menghasilkan limbah dari konsumsi energi, air, material, dan bahan baku. Konsumsi energi dan air dibuang langsung tanpa daur ulang. Material berupa minyak dijual dan sisa bahan baku berupa biji buah dijual untuk bibit. Identifikasi masalah dilakukan menggunakan daftar periksa, sedangkan pemecahan masalah dilakukan menggunakan diagram fishbone dan metode 5W1H untuk memperoleh alternatif solusi. Hasil penilaian bobot alternatif solusi dengan metode AHP menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) (dengan bobot 0,287080) pada kriteria sumber daya manusia (dengan bobot 0,63699) merupakan alternatif solusi yang sesuai untuk aplikasi CP produksi keripik buah di PT Agrijaya Indotirta. Cleaner Production dapat dilakukan dengan cara peningkatan peran sumber daya manusia sebagai pelaku produksi dan sebagai pengatur penanganan limbah yang tepat.Kata kunci: Analitycal Hierarchy Process, cleaner production, keripik buah, penanganan limbah

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh variabel marketing mix dan mengetahui variabel manakah yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam pembelian cuka apel Tahesta. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden, kemudian menganalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai persamaan koefisien regresi berturut-turut yakni X1 = 0.194, X2 = 0.149, X3 = 0.176, X4 = 0.348. Secara serempak semua variabel Marketing Mix 4P berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian cuka apel Tahesta. Secara parsial variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen membeli cuka apel Tahesta adalah variabel produk dan variabel promosi.Kata kunci : marketing mix, perilaku konsumen, regresiAbstract This research aims to find out the influence of marketing mix variables and find out a variable that dominantly influences toward consumer’s desicion in purchasing it. Research was conducted by delivering questionnaire to respondents, then analysed it with multiple regression analysis. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal and external factors that influence development and provide proposals for competitive strategies which are the priority of developing CV Angkasa Jaya. This study uses Strength, Waekness, Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) methods to identify internal and external factors of the company as well as alternative strategic planning and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) for determining strategic priorities. The results showed that internal and external factors that affected were products, marketing, production processes, the existence of government support, fruit beverage trends, market potential, technology, competition, shifting market tastes, economy and substitute products. Alternative strategies that become priority development strategies that can be applied by CV Angkasa Jaya are to increase the use of production technology and the internet, improve and maintain product quality in order to be able to compete with other products, develop business potential by making product innovations, carry out continuous production processes, improve and maintain market share, increase production capacity and the last priority is to increase promotion.

Abstract

UKM Gelali berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tujuan memperbaiki kualitas produk, proses produksi, desain kemasan dan merk serta persyaratan administrasi penting lainnya termasuk perizinan usaha agar produknya dapat diterima oleh konsumen. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah 1. identifikasi kondisi unit usaha, 2. Pelatihan, penyuluhan, dan pembimbingan teknis. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah efisiensi produksi (kuantitas dan kualitas) dengan perbaikan manajemen pengolahan yang ada, adanya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat melalui pengembangan agroindustri pengolahan susu menjadi es krim sehingga akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di lingkungan UKM Es Krim Gelali
