Abstract

An inventory control of raw material in an industry is important to minimize the total cost. The objective of this research was to control the  inventory of soybean as the main raw material in a tofu industry using the Fixed Order Quantity Method. The method was employed to determine the optimal quantity order, safety stock, reorder point, and to optimize the total inventory cost. The calculations were made based on the available records of the product demand of the previous year, and an estimation was performed for the following year. The results showed that the estimated cost associated with inventory for one year ahead were Rp. 114,767,466.50 of purchasing cost, Rp. 114,794.38 of ordering cost, Rp. 122,609.28 of holding cost and Rp. 186.05 of shortages cost. The respective optimal values of quantity order, reorder point, and safety stock  were 1,324.12 kg, 14.52 kg, and 43.92 kg, thus the total cost was Rp 115,005,056.20. The implementation of the method was able to reduce the inventory cost by Rp. 286,595.72 in a year. The sensitivity analysis, if the demand and price of soybean changes, showed that 10 % up or 10 % down of the parameters would not likely affect the optimal quantity and inventory total cost.   Key words: inventory control, Fixed Order Quantity, cost, tofu industry

Abstract

Rejo Agung Baru Madiun is one of big sugar companies in East Java. One of the problems in this factory is delayed of production process caused by machine damaged. Based on preliminary survey, it showed that boiler machine is regularly damage and has the highest downtime. Moreover, component that influences the damage of boiler machine is dumping grate component. The main purpose of this research is to determine optimal replacement schedule that has minimum downtime and maximum availability of dumping grate component. Method that is used to solve the problem is optimal preventive replacement age model. Furthermore, it also determines and compares replacement cost before and after scheduling. From the result, it shows that the replacement interval for dumping grate is 555 hours or 23.125 days with the minimum downtime value is 0.010018182 and the availability value is 0.989981818. Total cost of optimal replacement scheduling is Rp 3,341,078,529.00. The cost comparison before replacement scheduling and after replacement scheduling is Rp 3,517,399,429.00 and Rp 3,341,078,529.00 respectively or saving about 5.013%. Abstract

Performance prism method is used to improve performance measurement method in PT Inti Luhur Fuja Abadi Pasuruan. The design and performance measurement methods used for Performance Prism can reflect the needs and desires of each stakeholder identified in the form of goals (objectives). Performance measurement is an integrated measurement, covering all aspects of the company (stakeholders) involving stakeholder satisfaction and stakeholder contribution to the company. Performance measurement in this study is also supported by several methods such as weighting by Hierarchy Analytic Process (AHP) to determine the scale of priority value of each Key performance Indicator (KPI), Scoring System Objectives Matrix method (OMAX) to determine performance indicator, and Traffic Light System to determine which KPI that need improvement based on color. From this result, it can be seen that there are four KPIs that need improvement, which are, customer suggestion (C-4), core competition application (E-6), payment time (S-1), bargaining processing (S-2). Overall, the company’s performance in cooperate stage is good with the value is 9.46326. Abstract

AbstractA green supply chain is a concept that integrates environmental aspects in the supply chain system. This study aims to identify the value chain stages affecting the environment and to determine the level of economic impact on the jackfruit chips value chain at CV XYZ. This research used Value Chain Operations Reference (VCOR) method to analyze value chain activities. Carbon emissions and total costs were calculated at the build, acquire, and fulfill stages from suppliers and enterprises. The analysis results showed that the highest environmental impact was at the build stage which produces carbon emissions of 133,314.8 kg CO2. The frying process contributed the highest carbon emission, which was 117,600 kg CO2. CV XYZ was in the intolerable region condition in the Global Impact matrix. The resulting carbon footprint is 16.84 kg CO2/kg with a unit cost of 0.32 €/kg. The recommendation strategy was substituting firewood with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to lower carbon emissions by up to 40%.Keywords: carbon emission, Green Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Operation Reference        AbstrakGreen supply chain adalah sebuah konsep yang mengintegrasikan aspek lingkungan pada sistem rantai pasok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tahapan rantai nilai yang berdampak pada lingkungan dan menentukan tingkat dampak ekonomi pada rantai nilai keripik nangka di CV XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Value Chain Operations Reference (VCOR) untuk menganalisis aktivitas rantai nilai. Emisi karbon dan total biaya dihitung pada tahap build, acquire, dan fulfill dari supplier dan perusahaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dampak lingkungan tertinggi terdapat pada tahap build yang menghasilkan emisi karbon sebesar 133.314,8 kg CO2. Proses penggorengan memberikan kontribusi emisi karbon paling tinggi, yaitu 117.600 kg CO2. CV XYZ terletak pada kondisi intolerable region dalam Global Impact matrix. Jejak karbon yang dihasilkan adalah 16,84 kg CO2/kg dengan biaya unit sebesar 0,32 €/kg. Strategi yang direkomendasikan adalah penggantian kayu bakar dengan liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) yang dapat menekan tingkat emisi karbon hingga 40%.Kata kunci: emisi karbon, Green Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Operation Reference

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan penilaian tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap kualitas pelayanan serta menentukan atribut yang menjadi prioritas dalam perbaikan kualitas pelayanan Restoran Dahlia, di area wisata Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah servqual (Service quality) dan six sigma. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kualitas pelayanan pada restoran belum memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen. Berdasarkan analisis six sigma menunjukkan bahwa tingkat sigma yang dicapai masih jauh dari target 6 sigma sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Atribut yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan adalah atribut A3 (kesesuaian kualitas produk dan jasa terhadap harga yang ditetapkan). Berdasarkan penilaian, atribut tersebut memiliki nilai gap negatif terbesar serta memiliki nilai sigma sangat kecil sehingga perlu diperbaiki dari sisi manusia, material, metode, mesin serta modal/uang.Kata kunci : Kepuasan, Servqual, Six sigmaAbstractThe purpose of this study is to assess the level of customer satisfaction on service quality and determine the attributes that become a priority in improving the quality of restaurant service Dahlia, in the tourist area of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The method used in this research is servqual (Service quality) and six sigma. From the research results can be seen that the quality of service at the restaurant has not meet the needs and desires of consumers. Based on the six sigma analysis shows that the sigma level achieved is still far from the target of 6 sigma so it needs to be improved. The attribute of improvement priority is attribute A3 (conformity of product and service quality to set price). Based on the assessment, the attribute has the greatest negative gap value and has very small sigma value so it needs to be improved from human side, material, method, machine and capital / money.Keywords: Satisfaction, Servqual, Six sigma

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises is one of the essential sectors for an economy in a state. The existence of centre can ease the occurrence of new businesses with the availability of productive resources in industry sector. Industry centre it self aims to cluster several businesses which have similar natures. Technology components (technoware, humanware, inforware, orgaware) are a way to assess to what extent an industry centre can develop. The aims of the research are the influence of technology components to the development industry centre and to get some additional values from production process. The respondents in this study are 33 industries in Kedungrejo industry centre. Partial Least Squares (PLS) is used as the data analysis method. PLS method can be used in every scale of data and the sample does not have to be in large amount. The result gained by analyzing with PLS is that among, technoware is the technology compenent which has highest influence to the development of industry centre. The score of this compenent is 0,520 ant the margin of product additional value is IDR 82,500.Keywords : Industrial districts, Technology components, PLS.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang timbul terkait dengan persediaan pada Perusahaan Agronas Gizi Food Batu adalah tingginya jumlah bahan baku (kentang) yang disimpan dalam gudang bahan baku dan tingginya keripik krecek dalam gudang WIP (Work in process). Selama ini perusahaan belum memiliki dan belum pernah menggunakan metode tertentu dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku kentang, sehingga tingkat persediaan bahan baku kentang di gudang tinggi. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah menentukan perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku berdasarkan pendekatan JIT, menentukan dan membandingkan dengan metode tradisonal besar biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan perusahaan dan menentukan jumlah optimum kanban. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data yang dilakukan, jumlah bahan baku yang harus dibeli sebesar 84.476,67 Kg sedangkan jumlah bahan baku yang diproduksi menjadi keripik kentang 84.178,21 Kg. Biaya pengendalian persediaan bahan baku berdasarkan pendekatan JIT sebesar Rp506.952.447,16 sedangkan biaya pengendalian persediaan WIP sebesar Rp2.361.933,34. Perbandingan biaya persediaan bahan baku berdasarkan pendekatan JIT dan sebelum menggunakan JIT sebesar Rp313.543.680,84 atau terjadi penghematan sebesar 38,21% sedangkan pada WIP sebesar Rp10.453.047,85 atau terjadi penghematan sebesar 81,57%. Jumlah kanban optimum untuk vendor kanban sebanyak satu dimana jumlah optimum kanban produksi memiliki nilai yang berbeda untuk setiap harinya.Kata Kunci : Just-In-Time, Kanban, Pengendalian persediaan.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan hasil peramalan permintaan produk keripik apel menggunakan metode Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST) dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume penjualan. Metode JST dapat dilatih untuk mempelajari dan menganalisis pola data masa lalu dan berusaha mencari suatu formula atau fungsi yang akan menghubungkan pola data masa lalu dengan keluaran yang diinginkan saat ini. Salah satu algoritma pelatihan JST yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam menyelesaikan sistem peramalan adalah propagasi balik (backpropagation). Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil arsitektur jaringan single hidden layer terbaik yaitu 4-9-1 (4 neuron input, 9 neuron hidden layer, 1 neuron output). Nilai Mean Square Error (MSE) yang diperoleh sebesar 2185,004. Rata-rata persentase kesalahan hasil simulasi peramalan permintaan pada periode Januari – Mei 2014 adalah sebesar 3,18%.Kata kunci: Algoritma Pembelajaran, Backpropagation, MSEAbstract The purpose of this research is to obtain the outcome forecast of the apple chip product demand using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method with considering the affect factors againts to sales voIume. The ANN method can be trained to study and to analize the past pattern data as well as to find a formula or function that will connect the past pattern data to the current expected outcome. One of ANN training algoritma that can be used to solve this forecast system is backpropagation. Based on the conducted research, the result obtained is generate the best hidden singIe network architecture layer 4- 9-1 (4 input neurons, 9 hidden Iayer neurons, 1 output neuron). The value of Mean Square Error (MSE) is 2185,004. The average percentage errors as the result of demand forecast simulation during the period of January - May 2014 is 3,18%.Keywords: Learning Algorithm, Backpropagation, MSE

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hubungan dan pengaruh dari variabel keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis kuesioner dari 88 responden tenaga kerja di bagian produksi PT. Surya Pratista Hutama (SUPRAMA). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS). Dari hasil analis yang dilakukan, faktor Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) yang memiliki pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja adalah variabel kesehatan kerja dengan nilai 0,336.Kata kunci : Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, Partial Least Square, produktivitasAbstract This study aimed to determine the relationship and influence of the occupational health and safety variables on labor productivity. The study was conducted by delivering questionnaire to 88 respondents of labors whom job is at the production section of PT. Surya Pratista Hutama (SUPRAMA). Abstract

Ledre is one of the signature snacks from Bojonegoro Regency. The center for producing bananas ledre in Bojonegoro Regency are in Padangan and Purwosari Districts. The main ingredient used in producing ledre is plantain which grown in Bojonegoro Regency. The banana ledre industry has various problems such as the capital, labor, product quality, marketing and there is no cluster division for each type of business. The purpose of this study was to determine the cluster and strategy for the development of banana ledre industry in Bojonegoro Regency. The method used was K-means Clustering and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP). The results of the analysis were determined as many as 3 clusters, they were cluster 1 as the medium industry group, cluster 2 for small industry group and cluster 3 for the household industry group. The alternative strategy for cluster 1 development is to collaborate with the Bojonegoro Regency Office to provide training and education for workers and the establishment of SOPs for workers. The alternative strategy for cluster 2 development is to collaborate with financial institutions in Bojonegoro Regency with competitive interest rates and establish cooperation with the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs related to the venture capital. While the alternative strategy for developing cluster 3 is cooperation with the Bojonegoro District Office regarding legality licensing and improving the quality of packaging materials.
