Abstract

Shell and Tube Exchanger merupakan salah satu alat penukar kalor dengan memanfaatkan 2 pipa yaitu pipa bagian luar (Shell) dan pipa bagian dalam (tube). Fluida panas mengalir pada bagian dalam, dan fluida pendingin mengalir berlawanan arah pada pipa bagian luar (Shell), sehingga terjadi proses pendingin fluida panas yang mengalir di pipa bagian dalam, yaitu panas dari fluida panas dipindahkan ke fluida dingin yang mengalir. Proses ini berjalan terus menerus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan suhu yang di hasilkan oleh penelitian tersebut dengan melakukan variasi jumlah sirip dan mengetahui seberapa besar penurunan suhu yang terjadi pada variasi tersebut menggunakan perpindahan panas pada heat exchanger pipa ganda dengan sirip siku empat. Shell and Tube heat exchanger didesain dengan variasi jumlah sirip yang diletakkan pada pipa dalam (tube) Jumlah sirip yang divariasikan adalah : tanpa sirip, 3 sirip, 6 sirip dan 9 sirip. Dari pengujian ini dihasilkan bahwa penurunan temperatur tertinggi adalah pada sirip yang paling banyak yaitu berjumlah 9, yaitu sebesar 45,3 0C. Penurunan temperatur terjadi dari suhu 800 C menjadi temperatur rata rata 34,70C . Selanjutnya pada sirip berjumlah 6 dari temperatur 8 0 C menjadi temperatur rata rata 40,50 C. Pada sirip berjumlah tiga penurunan temperatur terjadi dari 800C menjadi 45,30C. Sedangkan untuk tanpa sirip, penurunan temperaturnya terkecil, yaitu dari 850C menjadi 47 0C. Dari hasil pengujian didapat penurunan suhu pada alat penukar kalor pipa ganda dengan sirip siku empat,yang dimana dengan ukuran panjang plat 40 cm dan tebal 1,25 mm pengaturan jumlah sirip dan jarak sirip memberikan hasil yang berbeda. Harga rata rata koefisien perpindahan kalor total untuk alat penukar panas pipa ganda dengan tube menggunakan bahan Stainless Steel, sehingga jumlah kalor yang di transfer dari fluida yang berada di tube ke fluida yang berada di shell juga berbeda. dengan Penambahan sirip pada sisi tube dengan jumlah yang berbeda sehingga luas permukaan tube yang diuji berbeda inilah yang menyebabkan perolehan nilai penurunaan suhu memberikan hasil yang berbeda. Perolehan nilai penurunan suhu bahan tersebut mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan penambahan jumlah sirip dan kerapatan sirip yang terpasang. Jadi untuk penurunan suhu yang paling cepat turun dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe sirip 9 yaitu sebesar 45,3 0C.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and develop three-dimensional drawing media pop up in learning to writing poetry in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ujan Mas Kepahiang Regency Year 2016/2017. The method used in this research is research and development. The subject of this research is the class VIII A which amounts to 29 students. Technique of collecting data  by observation, interview, and questionnaire. Data analysis technique is done by counting the number of percentage of the result of writing poetry. The results showed that SMPN 1 Ujan Mas needed media during the learning process, with the media can help improve students' motivation, in learning. In this research development, the researcher refers to research and development model (R & D) consisting of several steps as follows: (1) needs analysis, (2) development of three dimensional pop-up image media, (3). The percentage of students generated in writing poetry using three dimensional pop-up images is 76.96%. Based on the data analysis can be concluded the use of three-dimensional drawing media pop ups can help students in writing poetry. The learning process takes place more interesting using the three dimensional pop-up images. Keywords: learning media, pop ups, poetry

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui minat baca sastra mahasiswa S-1 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Tahun Pelajaran 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa S-1 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Tahun Pelajaran 2016 dari Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia berjumlah 318 orang. Sedangkan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling sebanyak 80 mahasiswa semester 5A dan 5B. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Minat baca sastra mahasiswa S-1 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Tahun Pelajaran 2016 akan dinilai dari empat aspek, yaitu perasaan ingin tahu mahasiswa, perhatian mahasiswa, keterlibatan mahasiswa, dan ketertarikan mahasisw. Teknik analisi data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap pelaporan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa minat baca sastra mahasiswa S-1 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Tahun Pelajaran 2016 masih kurang (rendah). Adapun hasil dilihat dari keempat aspek, berdasarkan aspek perasaan ingin tahu mahasiswa diperoleh rata-rata 1,45 (kategori tidak baik), aspek perhatian mahasiswa diperoleh rata-rata 1,05 (kategori tidak baik), aspek keterlibatan mahasiswa diperoleh rata-rata 1,65 (kategori tidak baik), dan aspek ketertarikan mahasiswa diperoleh rata-rata 0,65 (kategori tidak baik). Berdasarkan hasil angket yang telah disebarkan (berjumlah 50) maka dari rata-rata angket menunjukan 1,8 (kategori kurang baik) menyatakan bahwa minat baca sastra mahasiswa dikategorikan masih kurang. Berdasarkan wawancara yang telah penulis lakukan, terdapat beberapa jawaban dari mahasiswa yang menyatakan bahwa minat baca sastra mahasiswa masih kurang. Hal ini diperoleh dari jawaban responden yang menyatakan kadang-kadang membaca karya sastra.Kata Kunci: Minat baca sastra, mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the ability to read news texts on students of class VIII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu which amounted to 140 students from four classes with 75 male students and 76 female students. This research uses simple random sampling technique to take the chosen people correct by the researcher according to the specific characteristics of the sample, the researchers took 14% of the total population of 20 students. Technique of data collecting is done by observation technique and loud reading test. The data analysis used in this study is simple statistic. The results of this study indicate that, the average ability to read the news text of students of grade VIII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu is 55.2 (less).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to write deductive and inductive paragraphs in class X IPS 4 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kepahiang 2018/2019 academic year by using the learning model of the type of picture and picture. The research method used is the classroom action research method. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques using test, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques by analyzing test data, analyzing teacher and student observation data, analyzing learning documentation, and testing the action hypothesis. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of data sources. The application of the picture and picture type learning model can improve students' understanding and motivation in doing the steps of writing paragraphs so that students are able to write deductive and inductive paragraphs. An increase in the average value of the ability to write deductive and inductive paragraphs by 10.91 points from cycle 1 to cycle 2, namely the average value in cycle 1 of 66.12 increased to 77.03 in cycle 2. For that reason, the learning model of the picture and picture type can used by Indonesian teachers to provide motivation and understanding to students in developing paragraph writing skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of the ability to write fable texts using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model for seventh grade students of MTs Al-Quran Harsallakum Bengkulu City. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Hopkins model. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The technique of collecting data uses test, observation, and observation techniques. The data analysis technique in the study was to provide a value or score on the fable text written by students, as well as an assessment of the activities of students and teachers in learning to write fable texts carried out by researchers and peers. The results showed that there was an increase in teacher activity cycle I 87.50% to 100%. Student activity also increased in the first cycle based on obeserver observations, namely 4.56% and the rater at 4.22%. Whereas in the ability to write fable text for students of class VII.G MTs Al Quran Harsallakum Bengkulu City experienced an increase in writing fable texts using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model, seen in cycle I the average score of students was 73.15 with a sufficient category. and increased in cycle II with an average value of 84.35 good category.

Abstract

Students' writing procedural text skills are still low because students do not understand the steps of writing procedural text and its language characteristics. The implementation of Google Classroom is predicted to significantly affect the ability to write procedure text. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write procedure texts before using Google Classroom media, to determine the ability to write procedure texts after using Google Classroom media, and to determine the differences in the ability to write procedure texts before and after using Google Classroom media for class XI students of SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method, namely one group pre-test-post test. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu from October to December 2020. The samples taken were 35 students of class XI IPS A for the academic year 2020/2021. Data were analyzed using hypothesis testing (t-test). The results showed that the ability to write procedure text before using Google Classroom was 25.14 in the high category and after using Google Classroom was 35.37 in the very high category. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, it states that there is a difference in the ability to write procedure texts before and after using Google Classroom media for class XI IPS students of SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu, seen the value obtained is significant (2-tailed) which is 0.00 and the t-count value is seen. smaller that is -20,858 than the t table value of -2.03.

Abstract

Proses pengelasan telah berkembang pesat saat ini, baik untuk material logam maupun non logam. Salah satu material non logam yang disambung dengan proses pengelasan adalah plastik. Pada saat ini penggunaan produk berbahan material plastik semakin meningkat, maka untuk proses pengelasan material plastik menggunakan metode Hot-Gas Welding (HGW). Diketahui bahwa dalam proses pengelasan konduktifitas material sangat mempengaruhi kwalitas sambungan las, semakin tinggi konduktifitas maka kwalitas hasil pengelasan akan semakin baik. Di sisi lain diketahui bahwa material plastik memiliki tingkat konduktivitas yang rendah, maka dalam proses pengelasan plastik tersebut akan menjadi kendala. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan studi untuk meningkatkan kwalitas sambungan las material plastik yang dikhususkan pada material HDPE, yaitu mengetahui pengaruh temperatur pelat-landasan pada Jig Hot-Gas Welding dan sudut V-groove terhadap kekuatan tarik sambungan las HDPE sheet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan variasi temperatur pelat landasan 30°C, 70°C, 110°C, dan 150°C, sedangkan variasi sudut V-groove yang digunakan 40°, 60°, dan 75°. Standar uji tarik mengunakan standar ASTM D 638-03, sebagai data penunjang dilakukan foto makrostruktur dari masing-masing sambungan las. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh temperatur pelat landasan dan sudut V-groove berpengaruh tinggi terhadap kekuatan tarik lasan HDPE sheet selama proses hot-gas welding. Hasil interaksi antara variasi temperatur pelat landasan dan variasi sudut v-groove diperoleh bahwa pada temperatur pelat landasan 150°C dan sudut V-groove 60° didapatkan nilai maksimum kekuatan tarik lasan 18,8 MPa atau 87,5% terhadap kekuatan tarik material HDPE sheet tanpa sambungan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the reading ability of class VII students of SMPN 3 Rejang Lebong. This research method is a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were class VII SMPN 3 Rejang Lebong with the research sample being class VII E and VII H which were taken by random sampling. Data collection technique is done by testing technique. Students are tested with objective questions in the form of 4 discourses and each discourse consists of 3-6 questions. The results showed that the reading ability of class VII students of SMPN 3 Rejang Lebong regarding the text of the observation report was seen from several aspects, namely the structural aspect obtained an average value of 96.4 classified as very good criteria, aspects of linguistic elements obtained an average value of 72 including good criteria , aspects of the main idea of paragraphs obtained an average value of 72 including good criteria, aspects of the conclusion of paragraphs obtained an average value of 70.5 including good criteria, and aspects of analysis obtained an average value of 78 including good criteria. Overall, the aspect of students' reading ability with an average score is good, between 70-79% and each student has a different understanding of texts one to four.
