Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop animated video learning media on theme 9 sub-theme 2 class V, make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials. This research method uses development research with ADDIE development model. This research was conducted in three stages: 1) the analysis phase consisted of curriculum analysis, teacher and student analysis, and media analysis; 2) the design stage, namely the design of animated video learning media using the kinemaster application; 3) the development stage, namely producing learning media that have been designed at the design stage. In addition to media production, the researcher also developed a research instrument, namely a validation sheet. The results of this study indicate that the animated video learning media meets the very feasible criteria, in learning 1 the results are 94,85%, in learning 2, the results are 95% and in learning 3, the results are 95%. Abstrak Tujuan pelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangan media pembelajaran video animasi pada tema 9 subtema 2 kelas V, mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu 1) tahap analisis terdiri dari analisi kurikulum, analisis guru dan siswa, dan analisis media; 2)tahap desain yaitu rancangan media pembelajaran video animasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi kinemaster; 3) tahap pengembangan yaitu memproduksi media pembelajaran yang telah dirancang pada tahap desain. Selain produksi media, peneliti juga menyusun instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran video animasi memenuhi kriteria sangat layak, pada pembelajaran 1 memperoleh hasil 94,85%, pembelajaran 2 memperoleh hasil 95% dan pembelajaran 3 memperoleh hasil 95%. Abstract

Peran orang tua dalam menentukan hasil belajar siswa sangatlah penting. Jika peran orang tua dalam  pendidikan kurang baik atau tidak baik bagi anaknya, maka dapat mengakibatkan kurangnya atau bahkan tidak berhasilnya anak dalam proses belajarnya. Peran orang tua juga sangat diperlukan dalam memberikan edukasi kepada anak yang belum memahami pandemi yang sedang mewabah agar anaknya tetap berdiam diri di rumah, sehingga tidak mudah tertular maupun menularkan virus covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode yang bersifat deskriptif.  Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang tua siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di masa pandemi covid-19 sangatlah besar dan dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar anak. Bimbingan, perhatian, motivasi, fasilitas yang diberikan orang tua terhadap anak sangat dibutuhkan oleh anak, terutama pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini.

Abstract

Card Match Circle learning media is a learning media that is used to improve innovative and creative learning outcomes. This media is used because of the lack of availability of innovative learning media in elementary schools. This study aimed to develop learning media products in the form of picture cards in social studies learning in fourth-grade elementary school. This research design uses the ADDIE method, which only reaches the Implementation stage because the researchers only develop and carry out practicality tests. Sources of data in this study amounted to 15 people consisting of 4 experts, 1 teacher and 10 students. The data collection technique consisted of two data collections: the teacher's response, the student's response, the two validation sheets of linguists, media experts, and material experts. The research instrument used was in the form of a linguist validation questionnaire, a media expert validation questionnaire, a material expert validation questionnaire, a student response questionnaire, and a teacher response questionnaire. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative data. Based on the data obtained from research from media experts, a total of 100%, material experts in total 100%, and linguists on average 65% and the overall result is an average value of 88%, and it can be concluded that the Card Match Circle media is very valid to be used as instructional media. The analysis results of teacher responses are a total average of 100%, and students are an average of 97% in total, and the overall results are an average of 98%. It can be concluded that the Card Match Circle learning media impacts student learning outcomes. With this media, it can facilitate students in learning. In addition, it makes learning not boring so that students are enthusiastic in following the lessons given by the teacher.

Abstract

The problems so far are that schools have not utilized information and communication technology in class optimally. Teachers are only limited to using information and communication technology-based facilities and infrastructure for online learning. The purpose of this study is to be able to analyze the function of ICT for teachers in elementary schools and to be able to analyze the competence of ICT mastery that must be mastered by elementary school teachers, able to analyze the use of ICT as a source and medium of learning in elementary schools. This type of research uses a descriptive type of research. At the same time, the design of this study used a qualitative approach. This study intends to discuss facts and be able to tell things related to the use of ICT in carrying out activities in elementary schools. The research instrument in presenting the data is the researcher himself, who will determine the subject of the research and select information as a data source, collect data and compare the value of the data results and interpret the data and be able to analyze the data relate the results. Based on the results and discussion on ICT use, elementary schools have used ICT, both educators and students. In using ICT in elementary schools, educators need to pay attention to competencies in ICT mastery that elementary school teachers must master. Teachers use this ICT as a source and medium of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

In the learning process, the teacher dominates learning with the lecture method, acting as the primary source so that students are only listeners and recipients. Students do not participate actively in the learning process. Students should be involved in the learning process to meaningful learning for students. One way to include students in the learning process is by asking students. The purpose of this study is to examine how the ability of teachers to apply questioning skills in elementary schools, whether teachers can build questioning skills well or not. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects found five classroom teachers. They collected data through observation and interviews, namely aspects of observation and interview questions based on the components of basic questioning skills and advanced questioning skills. The data analysis used is the concept of Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and verification. The research results were teachers mastered questioning skills quite well, but they were not optimal in further questioning skills. Questioning skills are essential because this can increase students' motivation and interest in learning to become more active and develop students' critical and creative thinking skills. Teachers should need to re-learn the components of questioning skills to have a better influence on the learning that students receive.

Abstract

Masih banyak siswa yang kesulitan memecahkan masalah yang diminta dan berdampak pada hasil nilai yang diperoleh oleh peserta didik. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) berbasis HOTS (High Order Thingking Skills) pada Tema 1 Organ Gerak Hewan dan Manusia Subtema 3 Manfaat Lingkungan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang disederhanakan menjadi empat tahapan yaitu (Analysis, Design, Development, Impementasi). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket yang diberikan kepada ahli desain, ahli materi, ahli bahasa untuk menguji kelayakan, serta respon guru dan peserta didik untuk menguji kemenarikan. Jenis data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian adalah data kualitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan data kuantitatif berupa data angka dan diinterpretasikan dengan pedoman kriteria kategori penilaian untuk menentukan kualitas produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menghasilkan produk LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) yang dapat digunakan pada jenjang SD sebagai bahan ajar atau pegangan buku ajar peserta didik yang telah memenuhi kriteria sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata dari ahli desain 90% ahli materi 88% dan ahli bahasa 90% dengan kategori sangat layak serta respon yang diberikan oleh pendidik 99% dengan kategori sangat menarik, dan dilakukan uji coba skala kecil 84% dengan kategori sangat menarik. Bahan ajar LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) sudah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Education is a process of educating and requires students to achieve certain goals in the form of positive changes from within students. The desired change is part of a process towards maturity that occurs continuously in students' lives. This research is motivated by the low character of the younger generation, especially at the elementary school level. Therefore, the government implements a character education strengthening program at every level of education. This study analyzes the teacher's role in implementing character education strengthening programs for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research is research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected using interview and observation methods. The results show that many character education strengthening programs have been implemented in elementary schools and are following the five character values ​​of students, one of which is religious values ​​by getting used to praying before the start of learning. One of the teacher's roles in strengthening character education programs is to develop learning implementation plans and carry out learning and assessments that integrate the main values ​​of strengthening character education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai kedisiplinan belajar siswa bahwa masih ada beberapa siswa yang kurang disiplin terhadap aturan di kelas seperti masuk kelas terlambat, siswa dikatakan masuk ke dalam kelas terlambat karena masuk lebih dari waktu yang telah di tentukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kedisiplinan belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 114 Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana peneliti bermaksud untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam mengenai bagaimana kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 114 Pekanbaru pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 yang beralamat di Jl. Cempedak, Wonorejo, Kec. Marpoyan Damai, Kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SDN 114 Pekanbaru yang menjadi subjek dari pelaksaan kedisiplinan belajar di kelas IV SDN 114 Pekanbaru. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 114 Pekanbaru sudah baik tetapi masih ada beberapa siswa yang kurang disiplin terhadap aturan dikelas.

Abstract

In this digital era, it affects many aspects of life, especially developments related to online games. Starting from children, teenagers, and adults, almost everyone knows what an online game is. All of that certainly has a significant impact, especially for students still in the age of education and learning. This study aimed to determine the impact of online games on student learning at SDN 020 Langsat Hulu, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The research procedure is initial observation, problem formulation, research implementation, interviews and documentation, and data analysis. Data analysis using the concept of data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are that online games have both positive and negative impacts. The negative impact is that children with high-intensity playing games impact lesson values ​​at school. In conclusion, online games in today's era have developed very quickly. Many elementary school children play online games themselves, so children become addicted to playing online games, making their children's learning disrupted because they play online games too often.

Abstract

This study attempts to show how teachers helped Class IV students at 114 Pekanbaru State Elementary School overcome their academic challenges during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Qualitative descriptive research is the kind of study that this is. Three fourth-grade teachers and six fourth-graders served as the study's data sources. In this study, interview, observation, and documentation approaches were employed to collect data. The three stages of the Milles and Huberman approach for data analysis were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings demonstrated that students' learning challenges during the pandemic were mastering course material, students were less attentive in class, and students were easily bored in class. First and foremost, the teacher's job in helping students overcome their learning challenges is that of a motivator. Second, is the role of the instructor as a mentor. Third, is the managerial function of the teacher. Fourth, is the facilitatory function of the teacher. Fifth is the innovator's function as the instructor. Sixth, the educator's function as an assessor. According to the findings of this study, the fourth-grade teacher at Pekanbaru State Elementary School 114 plays a part in helping students who are struggling to learn during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
