Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Halmahera Selatan pada materi struktur atom. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pre-eksperimen One group pretest-postest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas X IPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Halmahera Selatan yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu secara Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupan soal essaysebanyak 11 item. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan pengujian statistik SPSS 21.0. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Halmahera Selatan pada materi struktur atom terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Halmahera Selatan sesuai dengan hasil uji statistik thitung > ttabel  atau 7,876 > 1,729 dengan besar peningkatan 43,6 %. Kata Kunci:  Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing, Hasil Belajar Sturktur Atom, Uji Statistik SPSS 21.0

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the zakat revenue on poverty by using the special autonomy fund (DOK) as a moderating variable. Using panel data of 15 districts from Aceh province from 2011 to 2016, Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) was used to analyze the functional relationship. The study found that zakat revenue and DOK had a negative and significant effect on poverty reduction. The negative impact of DOK on poverty partially more significant compared to the negative impact of zakat revenue. The existence of DOK does not only play a role as a predictor variable but also moderates the effect of zakat revenue on poverty reduction in Aceh.

Abstract

Background: Teaching about dental and oral health has been given to elementary school students through the UKGS Puskesmas program, but the results of the initial survey conducted on 10 grade IV students only 3 students who have good OHIS criteria. Good oral hygiene can be achieved through good brushing and actually enhancing the skills in brushing your teeth through audio-visual (video) media and reproduction. This study aims to reduce the OHI-S status in Class IV Elementary School 23 / IX students in Pondok Meja Village, Mestong Jambi District in 2019, which can be seen through the results of the OHI-S examination. Methods: This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental non-randomized control group pretest and post-test design (non equivalent control group) with two groups, namely the intervention group and the control group. Total sampling used in sampling a number of 40 respondents. The analytical tool used the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. Results: The results of the study were determined by the criteria for pre-test dental and oral hygiene (OHI-S) for both grade IV students in the group with good criteria, especially (7.5%). The criteria for post-test dental and oral hygiene (OHI-S) of grade IV students who have good criteria are the intervention group (42.5% and the control group (7.5%) and the results of the unpaired group difference test show the number 0.001. Because the value of 0.001 <0.05 means that There is a difference between the OHI-S scores of the intervention group and the control group. Conclusion: combination of demonstration and video methods was significantly inprove the OHI-S

Abstract

AbstractCentral Aceh has a large tourism potential but has not been utilized optimally. Therefore, thisstudy aims to examine the role of government in encouraging the development of creativeindustry tourism sector in central Aceh district. The data used in this research is the primarydata obtained through a live interview using a questionnaire. Total samples in this study as muchas 11 crafts souvenir business units. The results showed that the government has made severalefforts such as providing assistance, ease in business license management, provide professionalbusiness mentor, provide mentoring and also provide promotional facilities through the mediaElectronic and print media. Nevertheless, the confirmation from the entrepreneur is notappropriate. Therefore, there needs to be socialization from the government for creative industryentrepreneurs to make the results more maximal.Keywords: Tourism, Creative Industries, Government Policy.

Abstract

AbstractSmart machine-based home development is becoming the current trend because the system can be controlled intelligently by machines. The air conditioning system without the use of air conditioning requires a type of fan to stabilize the temperature and humidity outside the house and inside the house using a blower fan or also called an exhaust fan, but this fan is only limited to circulating air circulation between the outside air and inside the house so that the tendency for the inside air adjust to the outside air, to control the air according to the user it will be manually customized by the user. And for fans in the home room a fan is used which blows air around the fan in circulation. The application of the fuzzy system can provide a fan rotation system that is done intelligently by the machine, which can adjust the balance between the outside air and indoor air to reach air confort or cool. Fuzzy system is applied using Sugeno fuzzy inference using 81 rules to customize the exhaust fan and fan in the room.Keywords: Fuzzy system, Smart home, Sugeno fuzzy.

Abstract

 The ULM General Election is held annually in each TPU in each faculty to channel student votes in the election of the Chair and Vice Chair of the ULM BEM. However, the implementation of conventional general elections which require no small amount of money, the process is quite time-consuming and accompanied by the COVID-19 outbreak which can be an obstacle to the smooth running of the general election because it tends to be seen from 2018 to 2019 there is a decrease in the number of participants. This study uses an electronic approach, namely the e-voting system to overcome problems in conventional general elections in order to get improvements in terms of cost savings, shorter time and minimize the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. To get the value of the profit that can be achieved by investing in the development of the application that the researcher proposes, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility study (Feasibility Analysis) as a tool in getting conclusions about what will be done, and after getting the results of the general election conducted electronically, it will comparisons were made with the implementation of previous years. The implementation cost requires Rp. 10,578,000.00 which when compared to the average data for the previous three years requires Rp. 25,166,666.00, it can be seen that there is an implementation cost savings of Rp. 14,588,666.00, when the implementation cost savings are included. into the economic feasibility study, the ROI and BEP values since the first year the application was implemented showed positive values. Until the third year the ROI and BEP values enter the feasible criteria so that in terms of Economic Feasibility it can be seen that the application is economically feasible. Then, for the implementation time which takes 12 hours, the number of participants is 11830 people, which when compared to the average data for the previous three years was only 7333 people, it can be seen that there was an acceleration as seen from the increase in participants as many as 4497 people. Then, for the fastest encryption algorithm is AES-128-CBC with a total time of encryption and decryption on the amount of data as much as 1000 is 0.0116 seconds.Keywords: Conventional Election, Electronic Election, Feasibility Study, Comparison, Encryption AlgorithmPemilihan Umum ULM setiap tahunnya dilaksanakan dimasing-masing TPU disetiap fakultas untuk menyalurkan suara mahasiswa dalam perihal pemilihan  Ketua dan Wakil Ketua BEM ULM. Namum pelaksanaan pemilihan umum secara konvensional yang membutuhkan biaya yang tidak sedikit, proses yang cukup memakan waktu serta diiringi wabah COVID-19 yang dapat menjadi penghambat kelancaran dari pemilihan umum karena cenderung bisa dilihat dari tahun 2018 ke-tahun 2019 terjadi penurunan pada jumlah partisipan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan elektronik yaitu sistem e-voting untuk mengatasi masalah di pemilihan umum secara konvensional agar bisa mendapatan peningkatan dari segi penghematan biaya, waktu yang lebih singkat serta meminimalisir penyebaran wabah COVID-19. Untuk mendapatkan nilai dari profit yang mampu dicapai dengan berinvestasi kedalam pengembangan aplikasi yang peneliti usulkan, maka perlu dilakukan studi kelayakan (Feasibility Analysis) sebagai alat pembantu dalam mendapatkan kesimpulan terhadap apa yang akan dilakukan, dan setelah mendapatkan hasil pemilihan umum yang dilakukan secara elektronik maka akan dilakukan perbandingan terhadap pelaksanaan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Pada biaya pelaksanaan membutuhkan Rp.10.578.000,00 yang jika dibandingkan dengan rata-rata data tiga tahun sebelumnya membutuhkan Rp.25.166.666,00 maka bisa dilihat bahwa terjadi penghematan biaya pelaksanaan sebesar Rp14.588.666,00, ketika penghematan biaya pelaksanaan dimasukan kedalam studi kelayakan ekonomi, nilai ROI dan BEP sejak tahun pertama aplikasi diimplementasi menunjukkan nilai positif. Sampai tahun ketiga nilai ROI dan BEP masuk ke kriteria layak sehingga dari segi Economic Feasibility bisa diketahui bahwa aplikasi layak secara ekonomis. Kemudian, untuk waktu pelaksanaan yang membutuhkan waktu 12 jam bisa mendapatkan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 11830 orang yang jika dibandingkan dengan rata-rata data tiga tahun sebelumnya hanya 7333 orang maka bisa dilihat bahwa terjadi percepatan yang dilihat dari peningkatan partisipan sebanyak 4497 orang. Lalu, untuk algoritma enkripsi yang tercepat adalah AES-128-CBC dengan total waktu dari enkripsi dan dekripsi pada jumlah data sebanyak 1000 adalah  0,0116 detik.Kata kunci: Pemilihan konvensional, Pemilihan Elektronik, Studi Kelayakan, Perbandingan, Algoritma Enkripsi

Abstract

Biometrics is a method of recognition of an identity based on human physical characteristics such as the face, fingerprint, hand geometry, retina, and voice. Biometric identification that commonly used is the fingerprint recognition. Fingerprint identification process can be accelerated by reducing the number of fingerprint comparisons, splitting fingerprint databases into a number of classes based on pre-defined classes, such as fingerprint patterns. Fingerprint patterns are divided into five categories: Whorls, Right Loops, Left Loops, Arch, and Tented Arch. One of the pattern recognition techniques (fingerprint) is using neural network. This research developed a RBF (Radial Basis Function) neural network, which is known as SLFNs (Single Hidden Layer Feed-forward Neural Networks) that reliable in pattern recognition. The use of ELM (Extreme Learning Machine) algorithm on RBF network is an alternative to avoid long computation in the absence of adjustment weights during the training process so that the computing time relatively short. OLS (Orthogonal Least Square) is used to optimize the weights and RBF network simplification. The preprocessing of fingerprint images are grayscalling, histogram equalization, and image sequences block operation. Feature extraction method that used based on the orientation of the dominant direction of the image. One fingerprint image is represented by a value of 256 dominant angle in radians unit. From the results indicate that the ELM-RBF and OLS system can recognize fingerprint patterns with 100% accuracy on the training process, and 60% accuracy in the testing process. Keywords: Fingerprint Pattern Recognition, Extreme Learning Machine, Radial Basis Function, Orthogonal Least Square Biometrik merupakan metode pengenalan identitas seseorang berdasarkan karakteristik fisik manusia misalnya wajah, sidik jari, struktur telapak tangan, letak retina mata, dan suara. Identifikasi biometrik yang umum digunakan saat ini adalah pengenalan sidik jari. Proses identifikasi sidik jari dapat dipercepat dengan cara mereduksi sejumlah sidik jari pembanding, seperti membagi database sidik jari ke dalam sejumlah kelas berdasarkan kelas yang telah didefinisikan sebelumnya, misalnya pola sidik jari. Pola sidik jari dibagi ke dalam lima kategori, yaitu: Whorls, Right Loops, Left Loops, Arch, dan Tented Arch. Salah satu teknik pengenalan pola (sidik jari) adalah dengan jaringan saraf tiruan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan jaringan saraf tiruan RBF (Radial Basis Function), yang dikenal sebagai SLFNs (Single Hidden Layer Feed-forward Neural Networks) yang handal dalam pengenalan pola. Penggunaan algoritma ELM (Extreme Learning Machine) pada jaringan RBF merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk menghindari adanya komputasi yang lama karena tidak adanya penyesuaian bobot selama proses training sehingga waktu komputasi berlangsung relatif lebih singkat. OLS (Orthogonal Least Square) digunakan untuk optimalisasi bobot dan penyederhanaan jaringan RBF. Sebagai proses pengolahan awal citra sidik jari dilakukan proses normalisasi grayscalling, perataan histogram, dan operasi blok. Metode ekstraksi fitur ciri yang digunakan berbasis orientasi arah dominan citra. Satu citra sidik jari diwakili oleh 256 nilai sudut dominan dalam satuan radian. Dari hasil uji coba program menunjukkan bahwa ELM-RBF dan OLS dapat mengenali pola sidik jari dengan akurasi 100% pada proses training dan 60% pada proses testing. Abstract

Beyond is a Post Apocalyptic Sci-fi Platformer game made with Unity 2D Engine. Players follows the adventure of Teeby, a robot courier entrusted with a key to call the humans in the outer space back to the long forgotten earth. Player can jump, sprint and wall jump to overcome any obstacles in the way to reach the final destination. There are components that become elements of games such as enemy, interactive object, and environment. Testing is done with questionnaires filled in by 30 respondents. Tests results showed that “Beyond” is very challenging with great character designs and fun to play.

Abstract

Guru sebagai individu tenaga pendidik dan profesional khususnya guru Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) diharapkan dapat peningkatan pangkat dan jabatannya. Untuk meningkatkan pangkat dan jabatan tersebut perlu memiliki syarat, yaitu salah satunya karya ilmiah. Karya ilmiah yang memenuhi syarat adalah karya ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit dimana harus terdapat dewan redaksinya atau suatu lembaga pemerintah yang disebarluaskan kepada masyarakat. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang tata cara publikasi karya ilmiah secara online merupakan salah satu penyebab kurangnya karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan guru. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru tetnag proses pendaftaran dan submit karya ilmiah melalui Open Journal System (OJS). Pengabdian ini ditunjukan kepada tenaga pendidik, yaitu guru PNS yang memiliki pangkat fungsional dan ingin melakukan kenaikan. Metode yang digunakan untuk pelatihan dan pendampingan ini adalah penyampaian teori dan praktek langsung menggunakan OJS. Target serta luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan pengelolaan dan penggunaan jurnal bagi guru SMPN 8 Banjarbaru (2) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam memahami proses penerbitan karya ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan setelah kegiatan ini, sekitar 80% peserta dapat melakukan proses pendaftaran dan submit karya ilmiah pada OJS yang telah disediakan.Teachers, as professional educators, are required to increase their rank and position. There are requirements to improve ranks and positions and scientific work. Published scientific papers are works published by a publisher with an editorial board or a government agency and disseminated to the public. Lack of knowledge about the procedures for publishing scientific papers online is one of the causes of teachers' lack of scientific papers. This Community Service aims to provide knowledge and skills to teachers regarding the registration process and submitting scientific papers through the Open Journal System (OJS). This service is aimed at educators, in this case, educators (teachers) who have functional ranks, most of whom currently have not received registration training from OJS publishers. The method used for this training and mentoring is the delivery of theory and direct practise using OJS. The targets and outcomes of this activity are: (1) the implementation of training in the management and use of journals for teachers at SMPN 8 Banjarbaru; (2) Improving teachers' understanding of the process of publishing scientific papers. Based on the evaluation results carried out after this activity, around 80% of participants were able to register and submit scientific papers to the Open Journal System provided.

Abstract

Pada proses penambangan bijih nikel akan mengalami kemajuan setiap hari yang tentunya akan menyebabkan perubahan bentang alam daerah penelitian. Penelitian kemajuan penambangan ini berada di Kabupaten Morowali Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur seberapa besar kemajuan penambangan dan mengetahui tonase bijih nikel yang dihasilkan serta mengetahui penyebab perbedaan bijih nikel hasil eksplorasi dengan hasil kemajuan penambangan. Pengukuran kemajuan kegiatan penambangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat total station untuk mendapatkan posisi planimetris berupa easthing, northing, dan elevasi. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan metode poligon sehingga membentuk segi banyak. Dari hasil pengolahan data pengukuran didapatkan besar kemajuan pada minggu pertama 2.994,75m2 dengan volume 7955.83 m3, minggu ke dua 5.511.9 m2 dengan volume 9772.16m3, minggu ke tiga 8.185,09m2 dengan volume 13204.6 m3dan minggu ke empat 11.123,77m2 dengan volume 12076.38m3. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa besar kemajuan 11.123,77m2 dan tonase bijih yang diperoleh dari data kemajuan tambang yaitu 72.659,63ton sedangkan data tonase bijih hasil eksplorasi denganCOG ≥ 1.5% dan density 1.7 adalah 128.044,2ton. Penyebab perbedaan tonase dari kegiatan penambangan dengan hasil eksplorasi tersebut dikarenakan kegiatan penambangan dan endapan nikel yang bersifat heterogen.
