Abstract

The study of hadith in pesantren continues to develop along with the development of time and dynamics in it. At least seen in the curriculum both at the level of MTs., MA and Ma'had ly Aly PP Hasyim Asyari Tebuireng Jombang as one of the equivalent undergraduate education. The tradition of reading hadith both by way of bandongan and sorogan becomes classical at the madrasa level both at the MA and MTs levels. as well as a variety of studies and book readings that were studied both in the month of Ramadan and others. The study of hadith is increasing and deeper in the tradition of Mahad Aly. The study of Hadith in it has various hadith books with a focus on the books of the hadith that are not patient. This is different from the tradition of reading the hadith at the lower level. In general, the popular hadith books among Islamic boarding schools are Bulugh al-Maram and Riyadush Shalihin. The study of the hadith continues to grow with a variety of studies not only in the books of the traditions that contain the traditions but also the books of the science of traditions, books both sahih Bukhari or other hadith books with a variety of sanad in them and the books of hadith. Thus, the study of hadith in Ma'had Aly is more diverse because with mahasantri prepared to become scholars who tafaqquh fi al-din. So that this study makes the study of hadith books in pesantren very diverse along with the birth of strata one that is typical of pesantren

Abstract

The Hadith for Muslims is a source of Islamic teachings. Therefore, in the life of a Muslim both individually and in groups and in the life of the nation and cultured is stained from the values of Islamic teachings. In the present context along with the development of science and technology and is encouraged to inherit the Prophet's legacy. This makes the importance of contextualization in the understanding of hadith. One form offered is through a hermeneutic approach. This includes the hadith in the life of the nation and the state because of the difference in social context, culture and political system. This effort is to keep the hadith from extinction and can be carried out in context. As a messenger of Allah swt., The Prophet Muhammad. Build a civilized and state society in line with the basic principles of Islam. What was built and developed by the Prophet Sometimes opposed to the tradition that developed before Islam came.

Abstract

Studi hadis memiliki karekteristik yang khas berbeda dengan studi al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu, kedua keilmuan tersebut yang berada di Program Studi Tafsir Hadis dibagi menjadi dua program studi, yaitu Ilmu al-Qur’an dan Tafsir, serta Ilmu Hadis. Upaya tersebut adalah untuk menguatkan keilmuan kedua bidang tersebut dalam tubuh PTKIN. Secara kelembagaan, adanya kebijakan tersebut direspons positif dengan tumbuhnya prodi Ilmu hadis di PTKIN. Ini kemudian memunculkan ragam studi hadis yang berkembang di PTKIN, yang didalamnya tidak saja secara tekstual namun juga dikaji secara kontekstual, dan bahkan living hadis (sosial kemasyarakatan). Adanya pengembangan kajian dari teks ke konteks serta ke masyarakat terkait erat dengan epistemologi keilmuan yang dibangun oleh masing-masing PTKIN

Abstract

“Salam” is one of the opening expressions in communication. If an opening greeting to non-Muslims is prohibited, how can communication run smoothly, instead of creating harmony among religious believers? The Prophet's hadith which forbids starting “salam” to non-Muslims seems like discrimination. If it continues to be held in the current context, it will be negative patterns of interaction in religious relations and it will be potential for conflict. Therefore, we try to reinterpret the hadith by using Jorge J.E. Gracia’s theory of interpretation function. Thus, we found that this hadith arises in the condition and the situation of the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims is not harmonious because of several factors that occur at the time. This hadith is addressed to certain non-Muslims, not generally. In the present context, “salam” can actually be a mediator in efforts to care for religious harmony, especially in Indonesia as a country with multi-religions.

Abstract

Social development of Muslim society in Indonesia related to the study of hadith seems quite dynamic. Each organization has its own characteristics in defining and positioning hadith as the second of Islamic authority after Quran, such as the Majlis Tafsir Al-Quran (MTA). The problem begun since there is a research mentioning that MTA is almost considered not positioning hadith as explanatory of Quran. It is dealing with the MTA jargon its self, returning to the Quran and sunnah shahihah. This article discusses about how MTA, which is currently led by Ahmad Sukino, positions the hadith as the second of Islamic authority after Quran. In addition, MTA states that only sunah shahihah can be used as dalil or hujjah. MTA also distinguishes human cultural behaviors with pure religious behaviors as they are generally called ibadah. Thus, for MTA, no ibadah except there is nash sharih, both from the Quran and sunnah. Then, when we read more deeply and critically, MTA is actually inconsistent in understanding and practicing Islam textually, but sometimes they use the fikih and usul fikih as a means to analyse the Quran and hadith.Keywords: MTA, Textualist, Hadith, Islamic Authority

Abstract

The understanding of ḥadīth as a part of the problem that develops in society becomes the most important part of ḥadīth study. Its existence becomes an interesting study and produces a variety of certain thoughts studied in various scientific works. One of the thoughts on the understanding of the ḥadīth is examined by Suryadi in his dissertation that has been published under the title of contemporary methods of understanding the ḥadīth Prophet’s perspective Muḥammad al-Ghazālī and Yūsuf al-Qarḍāwī. This article discusses Suryadi’s reading about Muhammad al-Gazali’s and Yusuf Qardawi’s thoughts on Ḥadīth. Using a descriptive-analytic method this study scrutinizes how both discuss ḥadīth in modern context. Based on the collected and analized data, this study finds that both scholars introduce new method of understanding a ḥadīth considering the important of modern context. It also finds that both relate their discussion to the maqasid of Islam, that is raḥmatan li-al-’ālamīn.

Abstract

There are four classifications of hadith scholars measured by how skeptical they are of the authenticity of the hadith, namely Early Western Scepticism, Reaction Against Scepticism, Middle Ground, and Renewed Scepticism. Of the four classifications, Berg divides them into two groups, namely those who are skeptical and non-skeptical. In response to this, Harald Motzki specifically criticized Berg's classification. The data source that used is based on the article "The Question of The Authenticity of Muslim Traditions Reconsidered: A Review Article" by Harald Motzki as the primary source and the supporting articles for this article as a secondary source. Through the descriptive-analytical method, the writer will describe Harald Motzki's criticism of Herbert Berg's classification and provide an analysis of it, so that readers can understand the point of Harald Motzki's criticism and the reasons behind the criticism. With that method, it was found that Harald Motzki thought that if Berg's classification, both logically and epistemologically, was useless. This is based on three main criticisms: First, the unclear definition of the classification. Second, the error in capturing the meaning of the hadith scholars. Third, there is a bias in the skeptical group, so that the explanation for the non-skeptical group is not balanced.

Abstract

Perkembangan implementasi Hadis sangat dirasakan kebermanfaatannya disemua kalangan khususnya pemelik agama Islam. Semua aktivitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari diatur didalamnya dan apabila hadsit tersebut diterapkan maka akan mendapat keuntungan baik yang bersifat nyata yaitu memudahkan urusannya maupun keuntungan moril yang bersifat tidak nyata yaitu mendekatkan diri kepada sang pencipta dan pahala bagi yang melaksanakan. Sebagaimana pandemik yang terjadi di dunia saat ini khususnya Indonesia, penyebaran COVID-19 yang menjadi permasalahan diseluruh sektor yang terdapat disuatu negara, termasuk pada sektor pendidikan yang, mengahruskan pola pendidikan yang biasanya dilakukan di sekolah atau kampus dengan seluruh aktivitasnya   sekarang berganti fungsi ke rumah. Dalam pandemik ini akan tidak mudah bagi kita untuk menjalankan semua aktivitas dengan pola baru, akan tetapi hal ini akan menjadi mudah jika peran orang tua siap untuk mengisi keresahan yang jika tidak diatasi maka akan menghentikan seluruh aktivitas peserta didik. Terkhusus pengajaran pada anak usia ini yang harus dengan intens melakukan pembelajaran kepada anak dirumah. Pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini selama masa pandemik tidak dikhususkan pada materi-materi yang biasa diberikan disekolah akan tetapi cukup dengan pemberian pemahaman mengenai wabah yang sedang terjadi sekarang dan cara penanganannya. Hadis yang diajarkan oleh Rasululllah SAW yaitu Hadis jagalah kebersihan menjadi salah satu pembelajaran yang bisa diterapkan kepada anak usia dini, dengan menjelaskan Hadis tersebut dan implementasi kebersihan tersebut dalam menjawab problematika yang dihadapi anak pada masa pandemik ini.Kata Kunci: COVID-19, Anak usia Dini, Pendidikan Hadits

Abstract

The article highlights Abdullah Saeed’s thought in the light of hadith to promote contextual interpretation of the Qur’an. He emphasizes the significance of Hadith to reach best understanding of Qur’an by putting Hadith as historical reflection of Qur’anic worldview. He argues for five principles that should be implemented in examining Hadith as the source of contextual Qur’anic interpretation. He also highlights the difference of sunnah and Hadith, in which Hadith is perceived as collective cognition not as individual individual perception. Further, he also suggests that understanding Hadith could also be actualized by collective reasoning and human nature (fi?rah) and it should be totally relevant to the Qur’an. Those are the prerequisite of Hadith as the existing source for Qur’anic interpretation. If Hadith doesn’t meet the conditions, although it sounds in terms of chain transmission, the Hadith should be reviewed and even rejected.

Abstract

Along with the development of the era of the study of hadith today, it is increasingly interesting and has good prospects because of the special institutional development in universities, where currently the hadith science study program is separate from the interpretation study program. The realm of hadith study studies is also growing well, where in its history it has produced studies on the science of hadith and certain hadith books. At present the study of hadith science not only examines the region but it also develops into the realm of studies which contextualize and understand in a society known as living hadith. In addition, technological developments make the study of hadith easily accessible to the public, so that they can carry out the teachings brought by the Prophet Muhammad. In addition, the development of the study of hadith correlated with the media is quite popular today, where the reviewers of hadith no longer dwell on the academic dimension, but they penetrate the use of social media in disseminating the results of the hadith studies conducted.
