Abstract

This paper examines the feminism and feminism of Islam in the novel in Indonesia. The approach used is the sociology of literature, which aims to describe the problems of feminism with regard to social, cultural, and belief systems of society. Feminism has an important role and is one of the novel appeal. Feminism in the novel rejects all forms of discrimination against women. The concept of feminism in the novel in Indonesia shifts to Islamic feminism, namely the concept of gender equality that refers to the principles of Islamic teachings. Through the novel Islamic feminism, Muslim authors want to convey some message of da'wah. First, Islamic feminism is gender equality derived from Al Quran and Hadith. Second, Islamic feminism is one of Muslim women's image which is related to morality and attitude of Muslim woman when faced with problem.

Abstract

Dakwah or preaching Islam has a purpose to invite people to consistently perform good deeds and to prevent them from doing evil deeds (amar ma’ruf nahi munkar). However, most of conflicts occur bringing the name of religion, which of those are believed to be caused by the content of the preaching. Often the preaching is conducted in provocative ways and is intolerant with differences. In fact, a good understanding on differences and plurality play a significant role in determining a success of the preaching. Therefore, in order to avoid conflicts bringing the name of Islam, there is a need of preaching which has a comprehensive understanding on differences: multicultural preaching. This type of preaching involves three disciplines of applied linguistics, namely sociolinguistics, anthropolinguistics, and psycholinguistics. In this article, the writer attempts to investigate the roles as well as the interconnection between these three disciplines of linguistics in multicultural preaching.

Abstract

Affective domain of language learning is not only character education which is general, but education of morality language which is based on Al Quran and Hadith. Language akhlak education needs to be implemented from an early age through language learning so that learners have akhlakul karimah. This paper discusses the implementation of moral education in accordance with Al Quran and Hadith in learning Indonesian language and literature in primary school. The goal is to show that there are moral values ​​that are in accordance with Al Quran and Hadith on learning Indonesian language and literature. Thus, the direction and objectives of learning Indonesian language and literature more clearly, especially in the affective domain. Language akhlak that is implemented, namely: 1) speak properly both substance and redaction; 2) effective, efficient, and communicative language; 3) language with a rational reason; 4) language that does not hurt the heart; 5) the use of language to respect others; 6) the use of language in accordance with applicable norms; and, 7) the Islamic rules of listening.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi (1) perbedaan keefektifan antara penggunaan media mind mapping dengan pembelajaran tanpa media dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berpidato siswa SMK, (2) perbedaan keefektifan antara penggunaan media poster dengan pembelajaran tanpa media dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berpidato siswa SMK, serta (3) perbedaan keefektifan penggunaan media poster dengan media mind mapping dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berpidato siswa SMK. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Randomized Pretest-Postest Control Group Design, dengan dua kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X jurusan otomotif SMK Diponegoro Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Penentuan kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen dilakukan secara random. Pengumpulan data penenelitian melalui lembar penilaian performansi keterampilan berpidato. Instrumen divalidasi dengan uji validitas isi yang melibatkan expert judgment. Data dianalisis dengan Anava dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) media mind mapping lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa media pembelajaran, (2) media poster lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa media pembelajaran, (3) media mind mapping merupakan media yang paling efektif dibandingkan dengan media poster dan pembelajaran tanpa media. Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini menjelaskan hasil penelitian tentang ada tidaknya pengaruh intensitas membaca dzikir Asmaul Husna dan shalat Dhuhur Berjamaah Siswa terhadap tingkat kontrol diri siswa MA di Kota Pekalongan. Pengujian  hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan  analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 16. Hipotesis penelitiannya pertama, yaitu ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Intensitas membaca dzikir Asmaul Husna terhadap kontrol diri siswa. Kedua, ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan melakukan shalat dhuhur berjamaah terhadap kontrol diri siswa. Metode penelitian berupa metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil  pengujian hipotesis nol (H0)  pertama diterima. Nilai signifikansi t untuk variabel kebiasaan membaca asmaul husna adalah 0,056 dan nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari probabilitas α yang ditetapkan yaitu  0,495 (0,495>0,05).  Pengujian menunjukkan H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Nilai signifikansi t untuk  variabel  melakukan shalat zuhur berjamaah   adalah  0,119 dan nilai  tersebut  lebih  besar  dari  probabilitas α  yang  ditetapkan  yaitu  0,05 ( 0,095 > 0,05).  Pengujian  menunjukkan  H0  diterima  dan Ha ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil uji  regeresi  linear  berganda  secara  parsial, dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  intensitas kebiasaan membaca asmaul husna dan sholat dhuhur berjamaah berpengaruh  positif dan signifikan  terhadap  kontrol diri siswa.

Abstract

Pergeseran bahasa terjadi karena adanya kontak antar bahasa, suatu bahasa dapat menggeser bahasa lain. Kabupaten Sleman merupakan salah satu daerah pusat ekonomi dan pendidikan yang memiliki tingkat keragaman serta pertumbuhan yang tinggi sehingga sangat rentan terjadi pergeseran bahasa. Sebagai masayarakat Jawa yang menjunjung tinggi unggah-ungguh, masyarakat Sleman seharusnya semakin terbiasa dan mahir berbahasa Jawa, mulai dari ngoko sampai krama. Akan tatapi, bahasa Indonesia justru sering digunakan sebagai bahasa ibu dalam berkomunikasi di lingkungan keluarga. Melalui kajian sosiolingustik dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, tulisan ini akan menguraikan faktor-faktor penyebab pergeseran penggunaan bahasa Jawa ke bahasa Indonesia dalam komunikasi keluarga di Kabupaten Sleman. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh keluarga yang tinggal di Kabupaten Sleman, sampel penelitian diambil secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi atau simak serta wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2019, ditemukan beberapa faktor penyebab pergeseran bahasa tersebut, antara lain: tingkat pendidikan keluarga, pemilihan bahasa yang lugas dan sopan dalam keluarga, usia keluarga, stratifikasi sosial keluarga, kurangnya pembelajaran bahasa Jawa untuk keluarga, wilayah pemukiman keluarga, serta sikap keluarga terhadap bahasa. Bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan dalam komunikasi keluarga di Kabupaten Sleman didominasi oleh bahasa Indonesia nonformal yang disertai dengan gejala alih kode dan campur kode.

Abstract

Traditions in a society have important roles in determining the direction and social destination in society itself. When a tradition still relevants and still used by people, the tradition will be maintained at the same time, and also vice versa. If it can not give the benefits for people, it will be leaved. As in Situmpeng viileage, Pesalakan, Bandar, Batang City. After many years, “Omah Pitu” that bequethed by their ancestors, still exist until now. Of course includes many problems happen inside. Using kind of qualitative research with phenomenological approachment as a technic of analysis, this research try to understand about how social crosntructions of Situmpeng’s poeple to “Omah Pitu” in the context of cultural dakwah paradigm. As a result of the research can be cpncluded that nowdays “Omah Pitu” only seven houses thal still exist in Situmpeng. This suitable with the name of this village from the word “Situ” and “Lempeng” that have meaning “omahe pitu lempeng” (only seven houses). The social constructions in this society to the tradition “Omah Pitu” -like L Berger theory- devided into four steps, there are constructions, maitenance, repairs, and changes. Those steps veri dinamic and born “Omah Pitu” that still exist in Situmpeng with some adaptations that done by society with follow the times change. As non-habitable buildings, the concept of two houses that have a gutter,etc. Nevertheless if looked from that theory, the last step, change, it is not fully happened because there is no “radical” change that get rid of the old values. Besides it, “Omah Pitu” that still sustainable in Situmpeng can still exists because it got a legitimation of Islamic rules that followed by Situmpeng’ people. It means that the diversity in Situmpeng which entered in Cultural Dakwah Paradigm causes this tradition doesn’t need to be confronted srictly as when faced with Islam in Purritans ways.
