Abstract

The chemical bonding is one of the topics of discussion in chemistry that studies atomic and molecular structures that are difficult for students to understand because of their microscopic nature. Augmented Reality (AR) technology can combine three-dimensional virtual world objects into a real three-dimensional environment. Therefore, learning media were developed with the help of Augmented Reality (AR) for chemical bonding materials. This research is a research and development (R&D), with a modified 4D development model by Thiagarajan. The stages starting from define, design and develop. The data collection instrument used the material expert validation test instrument, the media expert and readability test to students. The data analysis technique used percentage descriptive analysis.The validity test of the material, media and readability test showed that the results of the media percentage were 87.9%, 79.87% and 87.6%, respectively. This percentage is included in the very valid category without revision.Thus, it can be concluded that the Augmented Reality media in the Chemical Bond material developed is declared very suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada mahasiswa. Dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian studi literasi, pengumpulan artikel yang dilakukan dengan bantuan mesin pencari Harzing’s Publish Or Perish dengan kriteria yang digunakan yaitu artikel diterbitkan pada tahuan 2010-2020 namun diutamakan pada artikel yang diterbitkan pada 2015-2020. Hasil studi literasi yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki mahasiswa masih rendah sehingga diperlukan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Padahal keterampilan berpikir kritis seharusnya dimiliki oleh masing-masing mahasiwa karena menjadi salah satu standart kelulusan perguruan tinggi. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yaitu dengan pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing menjadi salah satu model pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis termasuk dalam meningkat keterampilan berpikir kritis pada mahasiswa. Hal ini dikarenakan sesuai dengan metode pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa yaitu dengan merumuskan pertanyaan atau permasalahan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan memegang peranan penting terhadap peradaban manusia yang melibatkan dan menghasilkan inovasi secara signifikan dari yang paling sederhana hingga paling canggih terutama selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Guru diharapkan mampu untuk mengikuti perubahan teknologi yang disruptif baik dari aspek model, metode, maupun penilaian pembelajaran. Untuk menunjang kemampuan tersebut, maka dilaksanakan pelatihan asesmen formatif berbantuan aplikasi Mobile pendukung pembelajaran IPA jarak jauh di masa pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk mengenalkan dan membiasakan guru dalam melakukan asesmen formatif berbantuan aplikasi bergerak (mobile application). Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama yang mencakup persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara dalam jaringan (daring) pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2021 yang dilaksanakan secara sinkronus pada tanggal 29 Juni 2021. Kemudian, kegiatan dilanjutkan secara asinkronus selama empat pekan melalui Learning Management System (LMS) berupa pendampingan dan diakhiri dengan pengumpulan karya tulis pada tanggal 27 Juli 2021. Sebanyak 15 peserta telah berhasil menyelesaikan penulisan artikel dan mengumpulkannya melalui LMS. Beberapa di antaranya bahkan sedang memproses pendaftaran Hak Cipta atas produk inovasi pembelajaran yang telah dihasilkannya.Abstract:  Education holds a significant role towards human culture involving and resulting innovations significantly from the simple to the significant ones, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers are expected to keep up with disruptive technology development on the aspects of learning model, method, or assessment. To support the skill, a workshop on mobile application-assisted formative assessment for science learning in the covid-19 pandemic was conducted. This workshop aimed to introduce and accustom teachers to conducting a formative assessment using a mobile application. This activity consisted of three phases including the preparation, the execution, and the reporting. This workshop was conducted online in June-August 2021. The synchronous session was conducted on June 29th, 2021 meanwhile the asynchronous session was conducted during the next four weeks using an LMS consisting of writing and research consultation sessions. The activity ended through the submission of assignments on July 27th,2021. As many as 15 participants have successfully finished their article writing and submitted it through the LMS. Some of them are in the process of registering the copyright of the resulting learning innovation product.

Abstract

This study and development aimed to produce a valid and feasible teaching material with the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model on the activity of environmental pollution analysis using a mobile learning application in the COVID-19 pandemic era. The study model in this development was using the ADDIE method that limited to analyze, design, and develop stages where each stage passes the evaluation stage. The validity rate of the teaching material is obtained through a validity test by the validator while its eligibility rate is obtained through feasibility tests by the users. The validation result of materials in the teaching material had a percentage of 93.31 percent and the media feasibility test obtained a percentage of 95.60 percent. This teaching material was packed in a mobile learning form that consists of water, air, and land pollution materials. This teaching material displayed news articles, materials explanations, and presented in the form of animated videos, phenomena videos, pictures of environmental pollution, student worksheets, and mission-based learning activities. Animated videos have three animation characters that move and talk with different voices in each sub-chapter. The validation result by validators stated that the teaching material is valid and feasible, with a percentage of greater than or equal to 81 percent.

Abstract

Background: The current COVID-19 pandemic has led to school learning from offline to online. Basically, the main task of the teacher is to educate, teach, guide, direct, assess and evaluate students, where these tasks must be carried out by the teacher in any condition, especially the current COVID-19 pandemic. One of the most important media in online learning is the internet. MGMP is a forum for communication between subject teachers to improve teacher competence. Therefore, training on the development of web-based learning instruments was conducted for the IPA MGMP of Jombang Regency. Method: The stages of the activity include: 1) preparation, namely planning schedules and activities, 2) implementation, namely training carried out in the form of material delivery, discussion and presentation of participants, and 3) evaluation, namely the retrieval of response data of trainees for improvement of further activities. The trainees were 65 science teachers who were members of MGMP IPA Jombang Regency. Result: The first two days consisted of delivering learning video development materials using the OBS application, Google Form, Quizizz and Google Classroom, then participants working independently. Meanwhile, for the third day there is a presentation of the results of independent work by the participants and a review. Conclusion: implementation of this training has been good and has helped participants (science teachers) improve their skills in developing web-based learning instruments

Abstract

Abstract. Blended learning is one of the innovative learning models that integrates technology in line with the demands of learning in the 21st century and is relevant to learning in the pandemic era. Microsoft Office 365 is an office cloud application from Microsoft such as the desktop version of Microsoft Office that allows users to access e-mail, documents, contacts, calendars and collaborate anywhere and using various devices. This technology is one of the technologies that can help the learning process run with the Blended Learning model. The purpose of this study is to review the optimization of Microsoft Office 365 in Blended Learning-based learning. The type of research used is research with literature study method.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is currently driving the development of internet networks around the world. This internet can be useful in various fields including education. Education is currently experiencing system changes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The learning is carried out online. Therefore, it takes teacher skills in preparing online learning media. Based on this, a web-based instrument development workshop activity was carried out for science teachers in the IPA MGMP of Jombang Regency. The number of participants was 65 science teachers in the IPA MGMP of Jombang Regency. The workshop was held for three days online via the zoom platform. The first two days were the delivery of learning video development materials using the OBS application, google form, quizizz and google classroom then the participants worked independently. The third day was a presentation of the participants' independent work. The workshop participants were enthusiastic about participating in the workshop as seen from the zpost-workshop survey results. This workshop resulted in 60 web-based instrument products and articles on the development of participant instruments.

Abstract

Pencemaran lingkungan merupakan materi IPA yang konkrit (nyata) sehingga menuntut siswa untuk terampil memecahkan masalah dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Namun faktanya, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa masih rendah. Sementara itu, solusi berupa buku ajar berbasis PBL-STEM yang terintegrasi dengan Asesmen Formatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan masih jarang dilakukan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk buku ajar menggunakan model PBL-STEM yang terintegrasi dengan Asesmen Formatif pada tema pencemaran lingkungan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan mengetahui kelayakan serta keterbacaan produk. Pada penelitian ini digunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari tiga langkah pokok: kajian awal, pengembangan produk, dan uji coba produk. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket validasi materi, angket validasi media, dan angket uji keterbacaan buku ajar. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Analisis kuantitatif pada data kelayakan dan keterbacaan produk dalam penelitian ini disusun menurut skala Guttman. Sedangkan analisis kualitatif pada data kelayakan dan keterbacaan produk diperoleh dari komentar atau saran tertulis dari validator dan saran dari responden/siswa. Hasil validasi produk oleh validator menunjukkan bahwa RPP yang dikembangkan memiliki persentase kelayakan rata-rata 100%, buku ajar memiliki persentase kelayakan rata-rata sebesar 96%, serta dari hasil uji keterbacaan oleh 26 siswa menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar memiliki persentase keterbacaan rata-rata sebesar 97%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa RPP dan buku ajar berbasis model PBL-STEM dengan Asesmen Formatif yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat layak dan memiliki peluang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian mendatang direkomendasikan untuk mengimplementasikan produk buku ajar ini di kelas pembelajaran sesungguhnya.

Abstract

Problem solving skills are important to have in the 21st century. In the online learning period, students are required to be able to learn independently from home. However, in fact the motivation of students' learning has decreased. To facilitate students' self-learning during online learning, improving learning motivation and problem solving skills, teachers need to provide interesting learning materials. Therefore, this research aims to develop self-learning materials in the form of problem based learning e-module flipbooks on Environmentally Friendly Technology materials. This research is research and development with Lee Owens development model namely analysis, design, development and evaluation. The data collected in the form of qualitative data in the form of comments and suggestions validators and quantitative data in the form of validation scores of material experts, media and readability. The data collection instruments used are material expert validation test sheets, media experts, teachers and readability tests. Data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis. The results showed that the e-module flipbook developed has a succession of feasibility percentages from the validation tests of material experts, media experts and teachers, namely 84.03, 84.62 and 95.00%. Meanwhile, the percentage of readability tests to students was 87.81%. Teachers and students showed a response that the developed flipbook was interesting and suitable for self-learning during the pandemic. It can be concluded that, the e-module flipbook developed falls into the category of very valid (worth using) and excellent. It is expected to test the effectiveness of flipbooks to learning and develop flipbooks for other materials

Abstract

Online learning that has been carried out more or less in the past year has caused student studying saturation. The provision of material through Youtube videos, articles or handouts in pdf form is generally done by teachers. In fact, technology has provided many alternatives that can be used as more interesting learning media, for example Powtoon. Therefore, this study aims to provide training to teachers in developing materials in the form of Powtoon in order to increase students' learning motivation, especially during online learning. This research includes community service research. The steps taken are; 1) Pre-implementation, in the form of needs analysis, 2) Implementation, in the form of training with Powtoon development materials as learning media, filling out questionnaires, independent work, discussions and 3) Post-implementation, in the form of evaluation of activities. The implementation of the training showed the enthusiasm of the participants as seen from the life of the discussion session. Based on the questionnaire filled out by the participants, the implementation of the training has been well implemented with suggestions for adding other innovative media materials, and improving teacher competence in other matters. In addition, the results of the development and use of Powtoon media carried out by participants showed that students were enthusiastic and motivated in learning
