Abstract

A number of studies have addressed the predictors that influence green purchasing, but none have specifically provided confirmation of which predictors are most influential. This study was conducted to determine the effective contribution and relative contribution of the predictors that influence the purchasing decision of environmentally friendly hotels. An incendetal survey was carried out on 87 tourists who stayed in environmentally friendly hotels, the result were statistically tested. Five predictors that are considered to influence green purchasing decisions are green experiences, environmental concern, hotel image, price, and reference groups. Effectively the five predictors contribute 84% to green purchases. Relatively all predictors have a contribution of up to 100% meaning that all five are correct predictors. Environmentally concern is the most influential predictor in green purchasing decisions. Overall, all predictors are strategies for green hotel businesses to increase the number of guests, in terms of green experience, environmentally concern, price, image, and reference groups.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is one of the favorite destinations for domestic tourists in Indonesia, Based on the results of a survey of 600 domestic tourists, a general description of the profile and characteristics of domestic tourists are short stay (only 1-2 days), very few use accommodation facilities but live in friend’s and colleague’s home, the majority segment is the closest neighbor and the proximate principle is The main factor. In terms of age, is mostly productive age (26-40 years), the main motivation is just walking, preferring to use private vehicles and organizing their own travel or not using travel agent services, dominated by repeaters. The considerations of accessibility, facilities and prices are most influential on the motivation of travel. As for the interest in the tyoe of destination is natural tourism.

Abstract

The study is aimed to find out the variable effects of accessibility, organizer, accommodation, venue, and price through event participation decisions. The research sample of the population was the event organizer in Yogyakarta and Central Java, however, the data was conducted through a random sampling technique by 100 respondents. There are five variables tested that are thought to have an influence on participants' decisions in participating in the event, namely accessibility (X1), organizer (X2), accommodation (X3), venue (X4), and price perceived (X5). By classical assumption test, it was found that the five variables had a significant influence on the decision to participate in the event
