Abstract

In rental services, activity that usually do by rental provider are item ordering, item taking, item returning, item checking, and bookkeeping. Nowadays, many rental providers have difficulties for running their business activity, such as item scheduling, order recording, differences between item inventory and routine bookkeeping that causes losses and problems with customers. Moreover, the rental providers have limited infrastructure, by keep using rental note, whiteboard, and Microsoft Excel software for bookkeeping. Therefore, the rental providers need an rental management application which is independent in order to not depend on infrastructure or need more infrastructure, so that the service providers can only use smartphone without adding other infrastructure to manage rental services. This application designed using OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method and REST web service. Designing this application include service design, architecture design, component design, data design, user interface design, and application design architecture. This design of application has been tested using Traceability Matrix, (Coupling Between Object Classes) CBO, (Response for a Class) RFC, (Lack of cohesion in methods1) LCOM1 metrics, and (Lack of cohesion in methods2) LCOM2 metrics. The result of this application design has low coupling because of the CBO’s average value<=5 and RFC’s average value<=100 so it have high understandability and low cohesion because of LCOM>1. The result of this application design also has high adaptability because of the CBO’s average value is between 1 and 3, RFC’s average value between 1 and 69, and fulfill LCOM2’s value between 0 and 1. Furthermore, all artifacts are made based on the use case that was made before, because each column and row in the traceability matrix have a value of 1.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Malang is a national association organization in Indonesia engaged in social humanity where one of its main tasks is to provide blood transfusion service to the community. One way PMI to get blood is through the car blood donation unit by cooperate with agencies or organizations. The problems that arise is take 3-5 days to make the registration process until the date of agreement and reporting activities are still done manually. Based on the problems that have been explained, it developed a Management Information System Car Blood Donation Unit that aim to improve the process of registration car units for organizers candidate and simplify the report of activities car blood donation unit at PMI Malang. The development of this system was built using waterfall method and implemented on the website. The developed system has 16 functional requirements, 1 non functional requirement to support business process at PMI Malang City. Black box test results obtained results of 100% valid. At the time comparison test, the result of decreasing the registration time of the unit car is 98.5% from the previous registration time. In the User Acceptance Testing test given to the organizers generate revenue by 90%, the donor management division is 80%, the unit car officer is 80%, and the head of the utd is 80%.

Abstract

Futsal is the one of the sport that is growing in indonesia, especially in the city of malang. The development of futsal in Malang has some parties who exploit these conditions to make it land business, such as futsal field provides for renting service. Many field provider do not provide information or convenience in reservating such a field. According to the results of a survey the Association's Internet Service Provider Indonesia (APJII) in the year 2016, 47.6% or 63.1 million Indonesian people accessing the internet through their mobile devices. Based on condition, in order to help information deliver and help give the ease of reserve a field, the field reservating application implemented on an android mobile device. This application was developed using the method of development of Extreme Programming which is the simplest method in the process of designing and coding, so that it can reduce amount of development time. In addition, this method is suitable for dealing with the needs of users which didn't clear and easy to change. Based on the test results obtained by the use of usability methods SUS, application of malang futsal field reservations get assessment from eight user with the value of an average score on user side is 77 and the officer side is 73.3. Then from the results it can be concluded that the application is declared acceptable, so that’s mean this applications can be declared as acceptable and easy to used by the user.

Abstract

The smartphone device is getting popular among the people. The more functionality offered by smartphones, the more difficult for people to get away of it. Because that, smarphone is very suitable as a tool to remind about the agendas owned by users. There are so many reminder apps for smartphone but the reminder still has a drawback that the app is not able to detect whether the user has performed the activities that have been scheduled. The same thing happened in the prayer reminder app. The current application of prayer reminder is only able to remind the user when entering prayer time. The application is unable to detect whether the user has performed the prayer or not. For that required context-aware concept that is expected to overcome the deficiency of the application of prayer reminder. By obtaining user-defined context information in the form of user activity obtained through existing sensors on the device, the app can determine whether the user has finished performing the prayers so that the app can provide reminders according to the user's activity. The context information used to detect user activity are the user's gender and the state of device. To get the state of the device used proximity sensor, accelerometer sensor, light sensor, and gps sensor. Implementation of this application using Model-View-Presenter (MVP) architecture that each requirements separated as a different package in which there is a view and presenter.

Abstract

One of the favorite barbershop in Malang based on Radar Malang Award 2019 is GoodFellas Barbershop. From the running business processes, there are several problems experienced by GoodFellas such as lack of customer management , the queue of customers who still use note paper, it's hard to give promos, The customer has no idea of hair style, difficult to manage products owned, and they need methods that make customers cut their hair regularly. This barbershop information management system was built to overcome these problems. This system is build by using gamification method to make customers using this system continuously and forward chaining for recomentation hairstyle. The system development process is carried out using the prototyping method. In the needs analysis phase, 54 functional needs and 2 non-functional requirements are found with 2 iterations At the implementation stage, it is carried out using a codeigniter framework. Testing is done with 2 approaches, namely the white-box approach and the black-box approach. The white-box approach is used for unit testing with 100% valid results while the black-box approach is used for validation testing with 100% valid results. Compatibility testing has been done that this system can run on many browser.Usability testing is done with 2 approaches, namely Task scenario and System Usability Scale (SUS), for task scenario get 100% valid result, and for system usability scale (SUS) get score 86.5 which means included in the acceptable category so that the application is according to user requirements

Abstract

Presence system is a system that will record a person's presence in an institution. There are variose methods in presence system. One of the is fingerprint biometric method. But this method can be contrained if the finger get injured or wet so the sensor can't read the fingerprint. Several attendance methods were implemented, signatures and biometrics authentification. Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Brawijaya University still implements attendance methods such as signatures for students and fingerprint recognition for employees. Particularly for the presence of each employee both FILKOM lecturers and staff are recorded through the existing attendance system. But in its implementation sometimes there are some people who do not attend or forget to attend. This resulted in employees being considered absent. Therefore, This research will focus on an Android based presence system that will use autogeotagging metod. Geotagging is the proses of adding metada about the identity of geographical location. The collection of coordinates uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) which is integrated on mobile devices with the Android operating system.. The location point that has been obtained will be validated to determine whether the point is inside the presence area or not.

Abstract

On this modern era, smartphone has a significant role for people’s entertaiment. Unfortunately, for hand movement disability users, interact with smartphone is not easy. There was a research on 2018 about development of Entertaiment Terminal application based on Head Movement Control System (HEMOCS) on iOS. The result of the research has accuracy score of 86.2%. Based on the evaluation analysis against five respondents on 2019, an enhancement of that application is needed for user interface, function, and accuracy. Therefore, in this research, researcher enhance the entertaiment terminal application based on HEMOCS on iOS, to improve those aspects. The enhancement of user interface was done by changing the user interfaces, including the usage of iCarousel component for the list view. Enhancement of the application’s function was done based on advices from the previous researcher, to add function to read the content when in offline and online state. The enhancement of online content is done by implemeting library called Youtube iOS Player Helper. The enhancement of online content is done by using Appel’s MediaPlayer framework. The enhancement of accuracy was done by changing of the application’s code structure, including the HEMOCS code. This is done to get a better result. The testing methods in this research use a functional testing, specifically unit, integration, and validation testing, the tests was valid. The non-functional testing are accuracy testing. Accuracy testing is using a pre-defined scenarios to interact with the application and have score result of 89.44% and the accuracy score inscreased by 3.71%.

Abstract

GN-OTA Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on funding education for underprivileged school-aged children. GN-OTA is now experiencing a decline in the number of donations since apart from the foundation of the Foster Parents National Movement. To help overcome these problems, an information system was developed to raise donations and publications for GN-OTA foundation. The author proposes the development of this information system based on the phenomenon of e-charity, online fundrising or donations made via the internet which is quite successful in increasing social sensitivity in the community. The development of this system utilizes the Iterative development model with an object oriented approach. This system applies the concept of MVC (Model View Controller). Meanwhile, the tests performed are functional tests based on white-box and black-box testing models. Functional test shows good results, visible from the valid results for each test scenario. In addition to functional testing, the authors also tested the non-functional aspects of performance by using the tool YSlow. YSlow is an online tool that can test and assess system performance. YSlow gives a pretty good result C for average performance for donation page. However, in terms of the minimum HTTP request test matrix, this system still need improvement.

Abstract

HIPPAM Dharma Tirta Bogorejo Village is one of the Water Distribution Business Entities in Bogorejo Village, Bancar-Tuban District. The village head of Bogorejo explained that the management of HIPPAM's annual recapitulation and customer data is still done manually, which is recorded in a book. Customers also often do not pay attention to the amount of usage, do not remember the payment due and the absence of prior notice of problems related to HIPPAM. The clerk also still records the amount of usage and the amount of the customer's water payment by recording it in a book. This research will discuss the maximum data collection method for monitoring the amount of water use by making a website and android based application. The officer scans the QR Code as the customer id attached to each stand meter to enter customer data and will automatically be stored in the database. Notifications regarding HIPPAM issues are sent via SMS Gateway. The prototyping method is used because it has a development flow to find out the immediate needs of users and meet changing needs. Observations and interviews are used in the data collection process. Tests carried out namely testing functionality including unit testing and validation obtained all valid results. Non-functional testing is usability with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Based on the results of usability testing conducted, a score of 100 was obtained from the admin side, 82.5 from the customer side and 100 from the officer side. These figures prove and can be concluded if the application is acceptable, has good usability, convenience and satisfaction for the user.

Abstract

Completion of thesis for students is one of the requirements to get a bachelor's degree. But there are still students who have some problems in the thesis process. Therefore, an alternative container is needed to accommodate the additional needs of students in one environment and be able to help facilitate students in completing their thesis activities, namely the application of student thesis assistance. This system is designed using Progressive Web App (PWA) technology so that students and their guardians can use this web application offline, get notification of the latest information and add it to the home screen. The design carried out is the design of architecture, components, data, and interfaces. The design of this application was tested using the Traceability Matrix, (Coupling between Object Classes) CBO, (Response for a Class) RFC, (Lack of cohesion in methods 1) LCOM1 metrics, and (Lack of cohesion in methods 2) LCOM2 metrics. The results of the design are compatible with all artifacts made based on the use case with traceability matrix testing. The design quality test results have a low coupling with an average value at the level of CBO <= 5 and RFC <= 100. Low cohesion in all three classes tested with LCOM1> 1 and fulfills LCOM2 values ​​0 to 1, high understandability due to low coupling, and high adaptability due to average CBO values ​​between 1 to 3. Average RFC values ​​between 1 to 69.
