Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran Orientasi IPA dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah control group pretest and postest design. Implementasi model dilakukan di dua sekolah masing-masing sebanyak tiga kelas eksperimen (model pembelajaran Orientasi IPA) dan satu kelas kontrol (model konvensional). Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan uji statistik inferensial ANOVA satu jalur dan uji-t dua sampel yang independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Orientasi IPA efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan capaian N-gain tinggi daripada model pembelajaran konvensional dengan capaian N-gain sedang.Kata-kata kunci: Efektivitas, Keterampilan berpikir kritis, Model pembelajaran

Abstract

This paper presents practicality learning model of IBMR. Its own syntax orientation, investigation, multi representation, aplication, and evaluation. The learning conducted on the fundamental of physics class. At the time of the learning takes place, observations practicality every phase of the learning model IBMR. The results showed that the learning model IBMR has excellent practicality. It shows that every phase of IBMR learning model can be practically implemented

Abstract

PO2E2W learning model (problem orientation, observation, explanation, elaboration, and write in science) assisted by PhET media is a learning model that is oriented towards self regulated learning which in the process of physics learning activities is carried out with the help of PhET media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the practicality of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media in improving the physics problem solving skills of high school students. This research was carried out at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 High School (Surabaya, Indonesia) for students of class XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3. Criteria for practicality of learning devices in this study were based on (1) the implementation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) during one meeting in class XI IPA 1 and the implementation of the learning plan (RPP) for five meetings in class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3, (2) obstacles during learning activities. The number of observers in this study is two observers. The aspects observed consisted of introduction, core and closing activities. Based on the results of the practicality study of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media, the results obtained (1) the average assessment of two observers in class XI IPA 1 was 3.30 with good category with a percentage of agreement 96.75%, XI IPA 2 was 3.71 in very both with a percentage of agreement 95.84% and in class XI IPA 3 was 3.76 in very good category with a percentage of agreement 96.85% (2) obstacles during learning activities that can be overcome properly. Conclusion based on the results of the study of the freeness of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media is practically applied in learning to improve the physics problem solving skills of senior high school students.

Abstract

Konsep bilangan adalah salah satu materi Matematika yang harus dipahami dan dikuasai oleh setiap manusia. Memiliki penguasaan yang kuat pada konsep bilangan 1-10 akan berdampak terutama pada materi selanjutnya, yaitu Aritmatika serta pada materi Matematika lainnya. Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif ini dilakukan melalui survey dengan cara menyebarkan lewat g-form. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui data awal persepsi 170 calon guru anak usia dini di Universitas Negeri Surabaya mengenai konsep bilangan 1-10 pada anak usia dini. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari lima puluh persen persepsi calon guru anak usia dini di Universitas Negeri Surabaya cara mengajarkan konsep bilangan 1-10 adalah dengan mengenalkan anak pada simbol bilangan 1-10 terlebih dahulu, cara mengajarkan berhitung pada anak usia dini dengan menggunakan gambar sebanyak sembilan puluh lima persen responden, mengenalkan simbol angka merupakan kegiatan pertama kali yang dikenalkan pada anak ketika masuk PAUD/ TK sebanyak tujuh puluh tiga persen, dan mengenalkan konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada anak usia dini yang tepat adalah dengan cara langsung menggunakan simbol angka (operasi hitung) sebanyak enam puluh satu persen.
