Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar siswa melalui penerapan siklus belajar 5E disertai LKS pada materi pokok kelarutan dan hasilkali kelarutan di SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar, dan meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan siklus belajar 5E disertai LKS pada materi pokok kelarutan dan hasilkali kelarutan di SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan siklus belajar 5E disertai LKS dapat meningkatkan (1) kualitas proses belajar siswa yaitu minat belajar siswa meningkat dari siklus I menuju siklus II. Dari aspek rasa ingin tahu siswa menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan persentase dari siklus I menuju siklus II; (2) meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar siswa yaitu prestasi belajar kognitif siswa meningkat dari siklus I pada siklus II. Kata Kunci: siklus belajar 5E, LKS, kualitas proses dan hasil belajar, kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 5E LEARNING CYCLE WITH STUDENT WORKSHEETS TO IMPROVE THE STUDENTS’ LEARNING PROCESS QUALITY AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN CHEMISTRY Abstract: The study was aimed to improve the quality of student learning through the implementation of 5E learning cycle with Student Worksheet on the subject matter of solubility and solubility product in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar, and improve the quality of student learning achievement through the implementation of the 5E learning cycle with Student Worksheets on the subject matter of solubility and solubility product in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This research was classroom action research (CAR). The CAR was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The findings showed that the application of the 5E learning cycle with Student Worksheets in the subject matter of solubility and solubility product in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar can improve; (1) the quality of student learning, increased students’ interest in learning from the first cycle to the second cycle. From the aspect of the student's curiosity, the findings showed that there was an increasing percentage of the first cycle to the second cycle; (2) students’ learning achievement. Hal ini mendorong para produsen bersaing ketat merebut pasar dengan jalan memproduksi bahan yang bermutu tinggi dan memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan. Kemajuan tekno­ logi berperan untuk menciptakan produk ­produk olahan baru dengan berbagai je­nisnya.

Abstract

The function of packaging especially for dangerous goods essentially to contain the product protecting it from the environment, and also protecting the environment from being polluted by the content. Labelling will provide the information about the content and handling system.The requirement for dangerous goods transport packaging refers to the UN Standard which include drops test, stacking test, leakproofness, and internal pressure.The test condition de pens on the type of packaging, the material, and the content.

Abstract

Corrugated boxes as a transport packaging can decrease the damage of the contains during transportation. The transport packaging for fresh fruit has to be provided by ventilation. However the percentage of the ventilation candecrease the physical properties/the strength of the corrugated boxes it self. Experiment has been carried out to determine the percentage of the ventilation of the corrugated boxes needed for fruit of manggistan. The type of corrugated boxes is Regular Slotted Container (RSC) with inner dimension 300 x 180 x 110 mm and 2, 5 kg by weight. The transport simulation test showed that the optimum percentage of the ventilation is 5 % with the self live of 8 days.

Abstract

Recently the use of plastic packaging is become avoided because their waste will create environmental problem. As an alternative choice the use of biodegradable plastic packaging has been developed Research on biodegradable plastic has been carried out to study the effect of water content and kind of plasticizer on mechanical properties of the biodegradable plastic made from corn starch and polyvinyl alcohol. The result shows that water can increase the elongation of the plastic, but on the other hand it can decrease the tensile strength and barrier properties by increasing the water vapour transsmision rate. Therefore the use of water as a plasticizer must be mixed with other plasticizer such as glycerol, sorbitol, polyethylene glycol and glycerol monostearate. In this study the best result is by using mixture of water and sorbitol with ratio = 5: I and the ratio of solid material (starch + PVOH +nucleating agent) and plasticizer = 1 : I.

Abstract

Percobaan dilakukan untuk mencari tebal optimum dari jerigen HDPE kapasitas 30 liter yang digunakan untuk mengemas produk bahan berbahaya. Dimensi dari jerigen HDPE yang digunakan adalah 343 x 273 x 445 mm . Jerigen plastik dibuat dengan proses ekstrusi blow moulding dengan temperatur 190 - 205 °C dan tekanan 7 bar. Melt.flow index resin HDPE yang digunakan adalah 0.8931 g/10 menit and density 0. 952 g/cm'. Hasil percobaan yang diperoleh yaitu tebal optimum 3, 16 mm.

Abstract

The experiment of liquid toilet deterjen has been done in a laboratoryscale by using five different formulations. Each formulation was tested according to the SNI 06 - 2588 - 1992.The formulation which is comply with the SNI requirement and has the lowes cost can be seen in table 2, formulation V which has pH = 6,5630 and active ingredients 7,33 %.

Abstract

Experiment of household cream detergent has been done in a laboratory scale by preparing several formulations containing several different types of substances. Each formulation has been tested according to the SNI 06 - 0162 - 1987. The formulation which the SNI requirement is formulation VIII which has stable paste, Ph = 10,8 , surfactant content = 24,03 %, and water insoluble matter = 2,63 % .
