Abstract

Login is one of the important security features in online banking. This research investigates the mechanism for an existing online banking in Malaysia including the design of the login mechanism, the encryption algorithm used for the password  and the security level of the login mechanism. This research provides a result of analyzing data between five online banking in terms of their security features. These analyzing data will be used for proposing secure password encryption in online banking. The mathematic is used to evaluate the security level for these secure login applications. Output from the mathematical analysis is the probability that the adversary may break the security of login application.

Abstract

Video steganography is about hiding the secret message into the video as the cover media. Steganography is a technique use to secure the transmission of secret information or hide their existence. Most of the steganography software such as DeEgger Embedder and OurSecret does not have encryption algorithm to preserve the confidentiality for the secret message. OurSecret software only using simple password to keep the secrecy of the message. A simple password is not strong enough to protect the secret message, secret message will be vulnerable once the attacker successfully attack the steganography technique use to hide the secret message in the video. Furthermore, password is not an encryption algorithm. Secret message without encrypted is the vulnerability to the secret message. Confidentiality of the secret message will not be able to preserve. Hence there is a need to encrypt the secret message with stream cipher while not leaving it vulnerable to attacker. Stream cipher provide bit by bit encryption. A video steganography with embedding text with RC4 encryption cipher is design, develop and test in this project.

Abstract

Management system is the framework of processes and procedures used to ensure that an organization can fulfil all task required to achieve its objectives. In recent times, most organization will opt to use management system in their daily business task. There are those who still use the non-computerized system as opposed to the computerized management system. The non-computerized system may be effective but it also causes greater task load when implemented. Computerized system makes it easier for users with functions such as searching, automatic calculation, and display of related information with minimal queries. The development of Shears Inc. Salon Management System is to act an alternative to the non-computerized system implemented by Shears Inc. Salon. The system developed will be able to decrease the task load of owner and employees of Shears Inc. Salon. Software Development Life Cycle methodology is used in the development of Shears Inc. Salon Management System. This system is installed in computer device. It runs on local host server and MySQL is used as the database server. The programming language used in developing Shears Inc. Salon Management System is PHP programming language. Hence, Shears Inc. Salon Management System is an alternative for the salon to manage recording tasks.

Abstract

Attendance system University Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia is the system to record, and monitor the staff attendance to the daily work. This project is to design develop and implement attendance system using radio frequency identification technology. This technology is divided into two types which are system passive and system active. The proposed system used the system passive to record staff attendance. Frequency identification technology will read the staffs tag and the attendance are recorded automatically and store it in database. The proposed system has several securities feature that can prevent security breaches which is captcha and audit trail. The advantage of proposed system is can differentiate between the human input and robot input and record all the user activity when access to the system.
