Abstract

Rapid growth in the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach in groundwater level prediction literature calls for an assessment of the trajectory and impacts to identify key themes and future research directions. In this paper, reported a bibliometric analysis of this literature that focuses on examining input paramater uses, focus of research, and research forward. We used Elsevier’s SCOPUS database, Dimensions, and Google Scholar to search for publications from January 2000 to May 2020 on the ANN approach in groundwater level prediction, and analyzed the ?nal sample of 101 publications using RIS file from Mendeley and Vosviewer software tools. Thematic analysis of abstracts revealed a strong focus on groundwater level prediction with artificial neural network approach. The co-occurrence network map showed the hydro-climatology parameter like precipitation, temperature, and groundwater level connected with a large number of frequently used for input in ANN approach, while the evapotranspiration, evaporation, humidity, river stage, runoff parameter demonstrated much weaker links. Re?ected on how these ?ndings may useful for better understand and ultimately be able to use the other hydro-climatology input paramater on groundwater level prediction with artificial neural network approach.

Abstract

High maize production should be followed by good handling and preservation up to consumer. Near Infrared Reflectance (NIR) was nondestructive testing method, as well as high accuracy, free from pollution, and rapid method, therefore suggested as a testing method. The objective of this study was asses of NIR technology efectivity in determining four major compositions of maize. Fifty samples of maize (intact seeds) were scanned from 900-2000 nm NIR wavelength, interval 5 nm. Calibration model for NIR measurement using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) technique three layers. As input layer ANN are 5, 10, and 15 nodes principal component (PC), hidden layer 4,6, 8, 10, and 12 nodes and output layer are single chemical composition and simultaneously. Prediction of an external validation set showed low the SEP (standard error of prediction) and CV (coeficient of variability). As result, NIR technology is able to predict maize chemical composition accurately SEP ranged from 0.004-0.496, CVranged from 0.047–0.518. ANN with 5 nodes input layer and single output layer were very strong recommended to generate NIR calibration model.

Abstract

Kota Bogor merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan jumlah USK (Usaha Skala Kecil) Tapioka tertinggi. USK Tapioka banyak tersebar di antara pemukiman penduduk dan sebagian besar tidak berizin. Limbah padat yang dihasilkan dari proses produksi tapioka dalam bentuk onggok sudah banyak digunakan sebagai bahan baku industri, lain  halnya dengan limbah cair yang dibuang langsung ke lingkungan tanpa proses pengolahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik dan merumuskan strategi pengelolaan limbah cair USK tapioka di Kota Bogor Kecamatan Bogor Utara yang terpusat di Kelurahan Ciluar. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, pengukuran di laboratorium, dan wawancara dengan responden yang terdiri dari beberapa key person. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2019. Pengambilan sampel air limbah dilakukan dengan cara sampling sesaat (grab sampling) pada saluran pembuangan sedangkan analisis strategi pengelolaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik limbah cair USK Tapioka meliputi beberapa parameter yaitu warna, TSS, BOD, COD, pH, sianida, dan debit dengan kondisi seluruh parameter sudah melebihi baku mutu kecuali parameter sianida. Pengembangan pengelolaan limbah cair tapioka memiliki potensi yang kuat dan berpeluang. Analisis alternatif strategi menghasilkan 9 strategi. Strategi yang menjadi prioritas utama ialah (1) pengolahan limbah cair diarahkan pada pengolahan yang menghasilkan produk sehingga bernilai ekonomi, (2) bersifat mandiri bukan kawasan, dan (3) pihak kelurahan dan DLH Kota bekerja sama dalam melakukan pendataan USK serta membantu pembentukan kelembagaan antar USK.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of AKA UMKM bag handicraft as well as knowing what strategies should be carried out for marketing based on these factors. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is done by identifying and analyzing internal and external factors that influence the basic components of the SWOT analysis. Strategies that can be applied in marketing AKA UMKM bag crafts are SO (Strength-Opportunity) Strategyby increasing the craftsmen's human resources in order to improve product competitiveness and strengthen capital, promote and maintain good relations with suppliers to ensure the continuity of raw materials. WO (Weakness-Opportunity) strategy by optimizing the use of various media in increasing the promotion and utilization of government facilities to increase innovation, capital, production management, and marketing. ST (Strength-Treath) strategy through increasing product efficiency and maintaining consumer confidence with guaranteed quality through good production management. WT (Weakness-Treath) strategy by increasing product innovation and promotion by observing market developments and improving production data records. AKA UMKM have not been maximized in implementing SWOT combination strategies so that their application needs to be improved in the future so that AKA UMKM will be more developed. Abstract

Firmness and sweetness are parameters that significantly affect the quality of soursop fruit. This study aims to examine the application of the ultrasonic method to determine the quality (firmness and sweetness) of soursop fruitnondestructively. Measurements were carried out using three different ripeness levels of soursop fruit, namely immature, ripe, and overripe. Samples were measured using an ultrasonic wave measurement system with a frequency of 50 kHz and followed by measurements of the physicochemical properties such as firmness and total soluble solid (TSS) of the fruit. The results showed that the ultrasonic wave velocity of soursop fruit at three levels of maturity ranged from 169.03–278.31 m/s, while the attenuation coefficient ranged from 9.11–19.94 dB/m. The firmness values, total soluble solids, and density were 1.37–61.59 N, 5.73-17.93 °Brix, and 1014.77–1630.13 kg/m3. There were significant correlations between ultrasonic parameters, firmness, and TSS. Classifying the level of firmness and sweetness on soursop fruit using linear regression equations based on ultrasonic wave velocity parameters produces two-equation functions with the accuracy of classifying soursop fruit on the three levels of firmness and sweetness, namely 100% and 95%. Thus the ultrasonic wave velocity parameter could be used in classifying soursop fruit based on the level of firmness and sweetness.

Abstract

Belukar organics is a newly developed business entity for the production of liquid body soap and body scrubs. The volume of production and sales of liquid body soap and scrubs is still limited, around 360 bottles and 24 kilograms per year due to lack of marketing strategy and ineffective production process. Therefore, the objectives of program held for 7 months is to increase the production and sales volumes of liquid soap and body scrub. The program activities focused on training and supervision on production technology, packaging, management, marketing and facilitation of production and packaging equipment. In the production aspect, the new lay out of production process was set up, the new production technology and the SOPs were applied. In the management aspect, training and supervision in the Business Model Canvas, Business Plan and Action Plan, bookkeeping and accounting were carried out. In the marketing aspect, training and marketing supervision were carried out covering aspects of branding, promotion and digital marketing. With training and mentoring activities, the production of Belukar organics liquid soap increased from 39 bottles to 117 bottles per month. Body scrub production increased from 2 kg to 7 kg per month. Sales turnover of liquid body soap also increased from 4,3 million rupiah per month to 12,3 million rupiah per month, while body scrubs increased from 2 million rupiah to 6,5 million rupiah per month. PKM activities succeeded in increasing the volume of production and sales of liquid body soap and body scrub Belukar Organics by around 300%.
